About: I have been taking care of cats for 6-7 years. Especially during covid, I have helped and boarded cats to help them going through their hard time being apart from their parents. I also drop in to take care of pets when their parents are away. I rescued my own black cat Kabu in the cold winter 4 years ago when she was 3 months old!

“Barb, The Relief Every Pet Owner Needs Over the years, I grew increasingly scared to leave my 3 cats in a stranger's care. If needed I always drove them to my parents but it became clear that the roadtrip stressed them out more than if I had just left them at home and had a stranger come by the house. As a 1st time Rover user, Barb was a perfect find! She made the whole process unbelievably breezy. She very punctual to the meet and greet she set up the same day I sent my request. I ran her through the cat's litter and feeding schedule and already felt good about her. Immediately after this meet and greet, she sent me a screenshot of the notes she took afterwards which were notes on the food/water/litter instructions we had discussed for the brief meet. This really sealed it for me; not only did Barb exhibit great memory recall but also great attention to detail which is certainly needed in pet care. I had Barb check in twice a day for my 3 cats for a total of 9 days. She is very punctual to the times discussed and an expert with sending photos of furry loved ones to ease anxieties. She also made sure I was made aware of any event that occurred immediately in the Rover Card for that very check-in time. When responding to her or asking her questions she was quick and attentive with her responses. One of my cats loves to escape and is a bit of a "queen of the house" type of cat so she gets a bit protective of "her home" and after giving Barb some tips and tricks in what we do, my cat became calmer and more accepting of Barb as more check-ins occurred. They grew closer towards the end which is a testament of Barb's personality and care qualities. My other 2 cats are shy ones so there was a worry that we wouldn't be able to confirm if they were eating or not. But eventually Barb's calm and gentle presence coaxed them out enough to be spotted for a food grab or a hydration stop every now and then. Overall, having Barb as a first time Rover sitter and first time pet sitter was a perfect match and I feel lucky to have had her watching over my pets.”

About: I've pet sit for my friends dogs and have raised a corgi puppy from 10 weeks old! I love dogs and will treat yours like mine. I have a playful and friendly corgi who plays well with all dogs. Plus I give excellent scratches. I will send a bunch of photos, as long as you don’t mind me spamming you with them! We do at least 3 walks a day, dog parks after work, and fun adventures on the weekends. Normally we eat breakfast around 8:30, go for a potty walk, and play. During the weekday, I take them out every 4 hours and do mental puzzles at home. If the weather is nice, we will go to a nearby dog park. On weekends, we tend to go out for outdoor adventures if the weather is nice I live in an apartment with ample walking nearby. Super dog friendly neighborhood. We have space to set up crates if needed. I am a neat person and will clean up after myself and the dogs.

She has a nice home where she can separate large dogs from small dogs, and she makes her home an environment where dogs can easily coexist (no toys lying around for Tilly to take and guard). About: I am a dog lover looking for extra income. I live by myself with my dog. He is a service dog and we do everything together. I grew up with 2 rotties and a boxer so i am very comfortable with larger dog breeds. We hike every single day about 5 miles a day, so we do lead very active lifestyle. If your pet needs senior care, we will adjust. I work for myself, so I make my own schedule and have time to care for your dog as well. I work for myself so I make my own hours. I usually work about 4 hours a day Tuesday to Friday. I am off Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Safety is my #1 priority whether its your dog or mine. I take away toys and bulky sticks if I leave the house so they dont choke on things by accident. I have a crate in case I dog sit a nervous dog so it can relax and get much needed rest in between walks. I am also big into training and reading dogs body language to avoid conflict. If the dog we are sitting is nervous around other dogs, then I make sure we skip socializing with other dogs and focus on training to help build confidence

About: My family has rescued 2 dogs and I have took care of them from when they were young to when they were old. I have also taken care of other dogs for friends and family over the years and have been very good at handling different types of dogs. I’m a recent college grad looking for a full time job. As of now I am very flexible and don’t have too much to do. I can also pet sit/drop in on your pets at anytime. ☺️ My pets get daily enrichment with an abundance of toys that get switched out pretty often. I'm also researching/watching videos on how to better take care of our friends! For dog walking, it'll depend on your preference - I'm flexible.

“Shi Ming / Frankie did a great job hosting my dog, Hopper. Hopper loves Jealous, Frankie’s Bernese Mountain Dog pup, who is as gentle a playmate and companion. And they have a great yard and basement to play in. Also. Frankie was able to be flexible and cared for Hopper an extra day when my return flight was unexpectedly delayed by six hours. When I need someone to care for Hopper again, I’m definitely contacting Frankie and Jealous again.”
