About: I’ve lived with dogs as long as I can remember and have had a significant part in their care for about 10 years. The last 4 years I’ve been the primary caregiver for my pets. Since I was a teenager I’ve been the designated pet and house sitter for friends and family! I currently work full time but work from home two days per week. My mornings before work and evenings after work are dedicated to the pups. If necessary I am able to take a long lunch for some extra pup time. I have a fully fenced in yard where my friendly pups love to play and a puppy proofed home. Pets are welcome anywhere people are allowed, including furniture. About: I've loved dogs for the longest time and ever since I've had my own, you quickly realize they are more than a pet, they are family. My dog and I will treat your dog just like family during their visit. I succeeded well in training my dog on my own from house training, to off leash, to playing hide and seek, and I understand the important component of upholding and instilling any of your training while you're not present. As of June 30th, I no longer work remotely, but work very close to home. I still will have plenty of time to give your pup comfort and attention throughout the day. I am available most weekdays and weekends, but may become more limited depending on the season. I have 1 dog, a small Yorkshire Terrier who is known as Mr. President because he loves to greet and befriend each pet or person he sees, no matter the size. He is super friendly and playful and would love to be a great friend and playmate with your pup. I can easily crate your dog if needed with one you provide or with one of my own crates or expandale play pens. My yard is open, but there is plenty of space for fun. I enjoy long walks, so if your pup needs to get in multiple miles, I can make that happen. I have a multi level townhome. Dogs are allowed anywhere in the home except for the kitchen. If your dog loves the outdoors, i have a small deck and a small enclosed front balcony they can hang on. “My wife and I had the birth of our first child scheduled, and last minute we decided to have someone board our smallest dog Icarus. Within 10 minutes of messaging Scott and Amanda they called me and told me to drop my little buddy off. They took such amazing care of him… Everyday they sent me text messages, pictures, videos; they walked Icarus, their kids played with him, their Lab Walter hung out with him. I even dropped Icarus with a bit of a stomach ache and they made sure he didn’t over eat and slowly fed him to make sure he was OK. One the day we were to pickup Icarus my wife and I had to stay at the hospital longer and last minute I asked if they could watch him for 2 more days and they said “no problem at all”. Scott and Amanda are absolutely amazing dog sitters, and they’re even better people.”
