About: I spent a lot of time with pets( mostly dogs) from taking care of close friends pets. With dogs I found better ways to behave them when they were with me, and considering I would take care of them a lot I managed to teach them tricks. I love spending time with animals of any kind. I had a cat when I was 13 and it was tricky because I got Lenny as an adult I would say. I learned how to manage litter boxes and the right food for both cat and dog. I do a lot of research when it comes to food so I know they have the right nutritions and I’m also skeptical when if comes or bagged food, so I do make my Own at times. I own 2 dogs now, one is a puppy and the other about a year and a half old. I’m also trying to save to go into MTC to study as a veterinarian to spend more time with animals. Taking care of pets fits in just perfectly. I currently have a part time job, but doing pet care on the side definitely helps balance my routine out and get some fresh air from working. In both client/my home, since I’m an early bird, I take them on walks to get them moving and give them time to potty, as I do with my dogs as well. I give them water and food, of course this varies on any directions given by the owner. They do get a lot of playtime and treats for good behavior. I make sure to let them potty at least every 2-3 hours out of habit from my pets.
About: We have had a large cat named Snoop for many years. We adopted him from Cats Cradle in Harrisonburg as a Christmas surprise for our daughter. His original name was Kris Krinkle due to a cropped ear. Nothing better than falling asleep to the purring next to you.

About: Lifelong dog owner with decades of experience caring for dogs both big and small. I work from home and am able to provide constant care and plenty of exercise. Boarders or daycare get at least 3 walks/day, dozens of photos, and lots of love of course! I provide toys, bowls, a dog bed, treats, poop bags and a backup leash. I work from home, so I am flexible for drop-ins, last-minute needs, or regular walks, and can give your dog consistent companionship…and some fun of course! About: I have done pet sitting for many years, I have worked with multiple different types of animals many times. I love animals, can handle stressful situations, and know how to make responsable decisions regarding your home and beloved animals. I also will communicate effectively and be timely in my care of your pet. I work a job that has a flexible schedule, I do not have any prior commitments on weekends and any pet sitting jobs I book will become top priority. Pets should be treated with just as much respect as any person. Introducing yourself, acting calm and kindly, and also reading body cues and signs to make sure they remain comfortable at all times.
About: I have taken care of many of my friends pets, both dogs and cats and when I didn't have a pet of my own, would often borrow one! They make life so much better! Two of my references can give you first hand information about how much I loved and cared for their dogs. I work a 40 hour week in Waynesboro and depending on location of the pet, can do drop in visits before and after work and sometimes during the day (if local). I can come to your home or your dog can come to mine. I am not opposed to overnight stays. Your pet will be treated as if my own and with as much love and care as they can handle! They are more than pets, they are family!
About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I also used to work at the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center, so caring for animals is a daily thing for me while also caring for my own. The biggest dog I have experience with is a Great Dane while the smallest is a Yorkshire Terrier. I work at the Staunton VDOT office so Rover will be more of a secondary income for me, but I used to work at the animal shelter in my hometown. I work with dogs, cats, and rabbits daily but also have experience with pets including hamsters and fish. My dogs are let outside at least 6 times a day. Those times definitely being morning, noon, evening, and night and some times in between. They are crated while I’m not home but while I am with them they freely roam. They even sleep with me.

No preference on dogs or cats, I can catch on quick to whatever they task may be for the need of your pet. I’m currently working part time, so my schedule is pretty open at your disposal. I don’t mind driving, so reasonable distance isn’t an issue for checks up, walks or overnight stay if need be. I’m a very detail oriented person who’s been hired sporadically since being in the 540 area coming to school at JMU in 2015, and returning as a graduate assistant coach in last year. I’m very familiar with the area, so that will never really be an issue for me.
