Erin and her husband politely introduced themselves and then gave us a brief tour of her home, reassuring us that the environment was safe and pet friendly. About: I've always been a natural caregiver. I've had pets since I was born, took care of my grandmother in her final years, and I take care of patients of all ages everyday as a healthcare worker. My goal is always to look out for the underdog (pun intended). I work at a dental clinic nearby with nights, weekends, and every other Friday off. Health & Hygiene: I follow strict cleaning protocols, especially given my experience with neonatal kittens (who are highly susceptible to illness). About: Over the years, I've been blessed with friends trusting me to care for their fur babies, and we always have a good time. I observe every tiny detail of doggie behavior and what makes them comfortable. I enjoy letting them smell and observe their surroundings, and get them acclimated before introducing them to my day-to-day lifestyle, but I’m pretty much chill and easygoing. Both of my dogs are obedient and friendly, and have been trained at home. One of our dogs came home as a puppy, and the other one is a rescue, and both get along well. With practice and patience, I’ve learned to take care of most of their grooming, including nails, ears, paw trims, brushing their teeth, de-shedding, and doggie baths. With routines, I like start small with walks to get a sense of their pace and smelling habits so that they enjoy every minute, and if need be, I can help correct some of the leash pulling. I am also well accustomed to administering oral medication when dogs are on a schedule, so if that's something that you need for your pup, I’m happy to help. I'm blessed to be able to work from home, so I spend all day with my dogs. My usual work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9-5 pm, so I usually run my errands in the afternoon, and go for a walk with them if it’s nice out. On occasions, I sometimes take my pups to the dog park so they can burn some energy. Your pup will rarely be alone, but if I need to run errands for whatever reason, I have a doggie room with a camera so I can monitor them. There’s also plenty of toys, beds, and crates, just in case. I don't crate my pups anymore since they've learned to behave when alone, but if you'd like me to crate yours, just let me know. I’m more than happy to accommodate you and your fur baby's needs. In this house, your pet isn't a guest; they’re part of the pack. I have two other dogs that will keep your baby company and provide lots of playtime. I will follow your home routine to a T, and provide lots of belly rubs, walkies, and playtime. My house has a large fenced-in backyard, so they will have ample room to play and frequent breaks. Additionally, the neighborhood is very dog-friendly, so there are lots of sidewalks for walkies. There’s have plenty of toys here, and there are also a few dog parks nearby that we can visit, if your dog is comfortable. If your pup is more on the older side, prefers to sleep all day, and doesn't like to play as much, and/or is more of a loner, that's OK too! I’ll adjust to your routine and keep you up-to-date on everything. Basically, expect a very happy, very sleepy pet at pickup, daily updates, and peace of mind!

About: I have had pets all my life. I started helping take care of my cat and dogs at around 10 years old. I help out with my friends and extended family members pets as well. My dog takes medication in the morning so I can administer medication if needed. She has also gone through two surgeries so I can help during pet recovery as well. I’ve had hyperactive dogs as well as territorial/ toy-aggressive dogs and know how to deal with them. I have also had dogs who needed extra care due to being old. I do know a little bit about training dogs but not much. I work part time and go to college full time. However, I live at home with my parents so I can fit pet care into my schedule. I have a fenced backyard for my dog to run around or just lay outside. I walk her 2/3 times a day and she gets fed twice a day, morning and evening. I also spend a lot of time with her whether it’s playing around or just watching tv. If I am caring for someone else’s pets, I feed the pets and play with them as well as hang out with them.

I have experience watching cats & dogs of all ages, as well as pets such as fish, turtles, or bunnies! I work part time and the max I’ll be gone in a work day no more than 5-7 hours! If I don’t work I spend most of the day with your babies, possibly stopping by home or school for basic needs and class/clubs. I will always keep you updated in case of emergencies and/or timing issues. At the moment I cannot care for large size dogs as my schedule does not allow for me to give them the care they need. When I care for your pets in-home, I take it very seriously. Your house, your rules. I adore lists, as I love seeing your personal household & pet preferences. I always clean after myself before leaving.

“If I could give Melissa 10 stars, I would! There was some computer glitch with the booking and it was an absolute nightmare getting it fixed. LONG story short, Melissa called Rover more than once to get it fixed and assured me my pup would be taken care of no matter what! She was very professional and conscious of the midday heat and didn't walk my pup any longer than he wanted. I was very nervous getting a new walker on such short notice, but Melissa made time to do a meet & greet before, and asked all the right questions regarding my pup. Erin and her husband politely introduced themselves and then gave us a brief tour of her home, reassuring us that the environment was safe and pet friendly. During the days spent away, Erin took the initiative to send us plenty of photos and briefly updated us on how our dog was acclimating to her home. My youngest can be a handful at times, but Mary is extremely patient, caring, and truly just loves dogs. I received a message from Mary on the second visit that my dog threw up and was not feeling good. She asks me if she can boil chicken breast and rice for him to have something easier on the stomach. This just made me feel good about leaving them in her care and that she had his best interest. She truly wants the best for them.
