Knowing that she has four dogs of her own and works from home was especially reassuring, and she had no issues administering my dog’s daily pill. My dog really enjoyed exploring her yard (especially the chickens!) and Tamara clearly knew how to manage her gently and confidently. When I picked her up, she was happy to see me but calm and relaxed, which told me she had felt safe and well cared for. About: I have 2 dogs: Mina (8 year old Wheaten Terrier) and Halle (6 year old Boxer). I've had them both as puppies so I know what it's like to take care of dogs during those rough first few months. Halle also developed some anxiety so I have experience in dealing with leash reactive dogs and training them. I love all dogs and have taken care of friends' pets occasionally. I'm currently working on a hybrid schedule, so some days I work remote and am pretty flexible. On remote days, I'm able to work anywhere with wifi and can take care of dogs at the same time. My hours are also flexible so I am able to help almost any time and can take frequent breaks to walk or play with the dogs. I would ask lots of questions to make sure I know everything about when I can crate dogs, or if they can go to parks or dog parks.

About: Hi! I’m a work-from-home mom of three amazing boys, and caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm, so being around animals wasn’t just a hobby — it was a way of life. I’ve owned pets my entire life and have also fostered many dogs over the years, so my boys have grown up learning how to properly handle, respect, and love animals. We recently lost our sweet dog last year and are taking a little break from owning one, but our home feels happiest with paws around. I used to shadow a family friend who had a pet sitting business and I loved tagging along! I work full time as a teacher, but I get off at 2:35 so my weekdays have free afternoons and evenings. Weekends are completely free and I’ll be able to care for your pets any time of day. I can easily commute to your home to care for your pet. I don’t mind transporting your pets if needed. I will take great care and consideration when entering your home and ensure safety, fun and love for your pets!
About: I’ve shared my life with dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, including adopted and rescue animals of different ages, personalities and needs. I have special experience caring for senior and medically fragile pets. I adopted a very elderly, sick dog who required frequent medication and attentive daily care, and I also cared for my cat through medical needs that required consistent medication. I’m currently a devoted dog mom to Graci, a two-year-old Labrador, and a proud grandmom to Zoey, a two-year-old mini Australian Shepherd/Corgi mix. Caring for animals has given me hands-on experience with walks, feeding routines, playtime, medication schedules, close supervision and helping pets feel safe and comfortable. I understand that rescue animals and senior pets may need additional patience, consistency and time to build trust. I’m also a retired federal professional known for being dependable, observant and calm in unexpected situations. I understand that trusting someone with your pet—and your home—is a very personal decision. I will follow your instructions carefully, communicate consistently and provide plenty of photos and updates so you can feel completely comfortable while you’re away. “Continuing my professional development” sounds more natural and polished than “pursuing additional courses.” I’m currently taking a professional break while continuing my professional development, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide your pet with attentive, loving care. I’m home much of the day and can easily accommodate feeding, playtime, medication, cuddles, and your pet’s normal routine. Safety and comfort are always my priorities. I have one friendly Labrador who gets along well with other dogs and can be crated or kept separately if needed. My neighborhood is great for safe, leashed walks, and I carefully follow each pet parent’s instructions regarding feeding, medication, exercise, and routines.
About: I love animals! I have a dog currently and had a cat. I’ve been caring for them my whole life. I know a lot about both dogs and cats. I adopted my cat and got my dog close in age so they would be close with each other so i’ve had both puppies and kittens to elder pets. I love going on runs and walks with my dog and having fun together. I’d have to say bathing and playing with both dogs and cats is my favorite but I love doing anything with pets. A special skill I have would be cutting dog and cat nails especially the darker nails and having both dogs and cats feel comfortable while getting a bath. There is never a dull moment when caring for any dog or cat.
