“Awesome family! So kind and loving. Our Miso got lots of exercise from their family dogs too! Theresa was so flexible with the timing of our drop off and pick up, made our trip much less stressful! Thank you! Will definitely use you in the future.”

“This was my dog Ozzy’s first boarding outside our house. From the minute he met John, I knew everything was going to be alright. John got down on the floor when introducing himself to Ozzy. With Ozzy being apprehensive meeting new people, I was concerned, but Ozzy took to John immediately. I was impressed by John keeping written notes regarding Ozzy’s preferences and eating times. We did a meet and greet initially, so that Ozzy would be familiar. On the day I dropped Ozzy off, he was already comfortable in John’s lovely home. John sent photos and text updates to let me know how Ozzy was doing. I would definitely recommend John. He is definitely a dog whisperer.”

“Shawn was wonderful! She kept me updated throughout the entire stay. My pups were very comfortable and happy during their stay. I would choose Shawn every time to watch my pups, they had an amazing time! I didn’t have to worry about my dogs once while they were in Shawn’s care!”

“Emily was fantastic with our Golden Doodle, Ozzy. It looked like he was enjoying himself by the pictures that Emily sent to us while we’re were away. I have no reservations recommending Emily to anyone how is looking for a patient, loving and caring person sitter.”

“Shannon was great with my Doodle Jack. He is 12 and timid and had never stayed over with anyone for many years, but he loved his stay there, playing with the other dogs. She sent me a photo of Jack with his new best friend, it was comforting to get an email letting me know he was doing great. Will most certainly use Shannon's pet sitting again!”

“Samatha was great and treated Eddy as her own! She was very tentative and provided lots of photos providing ease of mind and reassurance while I was out of town for several days. I would highly recommend and I’m happy to have found someone I can trust to take care of my best friend while I’m out of town. Thanks again, Travis S.”

“Would highly recommend! I got pictures of my pups everyday, they were happy and playing always! This was so helpful because I missed them so much and it was nice to see they were doing well! Marah is super friendly and took great care of my babies!”

“Kimberly was great with Oscar! She had plenty of space for him to play outside often, kept us frequently updated on how he was doing, how he was eating- everything to keep us informed and know he was well. She even gifted him a care package with treats and toys to take home. We will be reaching out to Kimberly again for care!”

“Per usual Ashley was amazing! She's always so accommodating and has certainly earned herself a repeat client. Even when we had to pick up our dog due to a delayed flight, Ashley was so willing to work with us and oue changing schedule. Brooklyn has certainly made herself at home with Ashley and her family, and we're so happy to have found a petsitter we 100% trust and will continue to use. :)”

“Our Maggie stayed with Taylor while we were gone for spring break. She had a great time and was well cared for. It’s important to me as a Dog Mom to know that my girl is well cared for while I am away and she came home wore out from all the playing with her new fur friends that she met.”

“This was my first time using Rover and I was extremely nervous. Lydia was amazing with my pups , she sent updates, videos and pictures the whole time. We will definitely be using her for all our trips out of town from now on. I would give 10 stars if I could!!!”

“Rebecca is an amazing dog sitter and I highly recommend her! I have an elderly dog who needs medication and she took such great care of him. She was so gentle with him and kind. She took a ton of pictures of him to keep me updated and always responded back to me very quickly. I will definitely contact her again for pup sitting and will recommend her to friends and family. Thank you so much Rebecca! 🥰💗”

“Lawdy was available for a last minute booking, communicative throughout, and my nervous puppy was very calm when I came to pick her up. I’ll definitely be booking with her in the future!”
“My dog loved staying at Rebekah’s! She’s been sleeping since she got back home :) Rebekah prioritizes the animals’ safety and socialization, and I’ll definitely rebook in the future.”

About: The house my parents moved into when I was only 4 weeks old was unfortunately a dumping ground for unwanted animals. Before I could even walk, I was cuddling with any animal that showed up at our door. This instilled a passion within me that I can finally turn into a profession. From Rescue and fostering to training dogs and showing horses, animals have always been a huge part of my life. In addition to my Management degree, I have an Associate of Science Degree with a major in Animal Science and a specialization in Agriculture. I completed an AKC handlers’ course which focused on reading your dog’s body language to understand their needs. Being so heavily involved in rescue, I have history and experience in dealing with reactive and/or selective dogs. I have many safety features depending on the animals needs including crates, double hung baby gates and 6 ft chain link fence that is separated into two yards. I also offer pet waste removal services. Feel free to send me a note if you have any questions. After a successful 25year business management career, I am now turning my lifetime passion of animal care into a profession. This year I started up my own business, "G'MA DOES". I offer a range of services from dog walking and pet sitting to animal waste removal. I like to stay active! While I have learned a tremendous amount of knowledge from multiple trainers, what I hold most dear is the ongoing information I take in from animal behaviorists such as Cesar Millan. Remember, when you first meet a strange dog practice NO TOUCH, NO TALK, NO EYE CONTACT! *LICENSED AND INSURED* In my house we call it "FURniture" for a reason. I use the "crate and rotate" regimen as needed and for feeding. I also have baby gates at every doorway. My entire backyard is a 6 ft chain length fence and I have it separated into two secured areas for exercise. Inside, one room is a dedicated cat room for litterboxes toys etc. The other two bedrooms will be dedicated safe spaces used for play, overnight stays, or whatever the situation calls for.
About: I began volunteering at my local animal shelter at the age of 9 and have been caring for animals ever since. I have 20 years experience pet sitting for neighbors and I have my own 6 year old pitbull, Cleo, so I’m no stranger to energetic dogs. I’m a teacher, so my summers give me full flexibility to care for your animals! I love to walk dogs on local greenways and trails. I have a fenced in backyard where your dog can play. If they like to play with a buddy, my dog will be their best friend!

“Ashley is really a pleasure to be around, and was immediately very sweet with our cats from the moment we met her. She is a wonderful pet sitter, careful to update us on everything, easy to communicate with, very loving to our pets, and respectful of our home. We hope to be repeat clients!”

“Becca is a fantastic pet sitter to have for all your pet needs. She was very professional in her preparation and detailed in her visit summaries- I knew my kitties were in great hands while gone and her love for animals is evident! Thanks so much, Becca!”

“Kim was fantastic watching my two cats! I was gone for a little under a week and she was attentive to them and played with them when they wanted during her drop-ins. They both were happy when I came back and one who doesn't eat a lot when I'm gone had eaten more food than typical, so that was fantastic! I will definitely consider Kim in the future.”

“Cindy was fantastic! From being extremely patient navigating an issue with Rover displaying her rate correctly, to accomodating our last minute request, to calling a locksmith (per my request) when the key we left her didn't work, to helping when we had a leak in our basement, she consistently went above and beyond. Not to mention buying food for our cat when she couldn't get into the house and being so good to him and sending several pictures every visit. We were beyond thrilled with her service and absolutely plan on hiring her again!”

“Michael was wonderful and kept me informed of how my pets were doing each day. I felt safe and secure leaving them with him and will definitely keep using him in the future!”

“Brooke did a great job with my 2 cats. They seemed to get a lot of attention, and she administered meds. Loved getting all of the pics and thorough info from each drop-in. I'd be happy to hire Brooke again.”

“Kimberly was absolutely phenomenal and so kind! Our senior fur baby has a lot of extra needs, so we’ve always put date days aside to ensure we wouldn’t have to leave her home alone. “This is how my story started......I was in Roanoke for the Nomad convention at the Sheraton. It is dog friendly & I have my baby w me... she has always traveled well.. but she is now older & she is having separation anxiety when I leave the room! She barks & wont stop! She is a tri color chihuahua ! I can't leave the room & I can't take her to the car show because of the heat! I have never left her .. a bit nervous about doing so.. but thought I would search for Dog Care in area! My story ends in a meet & greet that started a new friendship! Paula was so comforting and reassuring that I wanted to stay with her! I had never left Mia w anyone before! Paula sent me pictures & text about Mia, including one where Mia was a bed hog! I immediately fell in love w her and never worried about my fur baby being in trusting, loving, awesome hands! Thank you Paula for loving my baby!❤️”

About: I've had a 91 lb labradoodle from puppy to now for about 4 years. I've also been told that my cat adopted me about 1.5 years ago. My dog is a happy go lucky guy who's never met a person or animal he didn't like. My cat is about 15 years old and requires injectable medication twice a day, so nothing scares me when it comes to medication. I've taken care of the odd African Grey Parrot from time to time as well. I take my dog out every morning, lunch time and several times in the evening for walks and play. Our cat needs medicine twice a day that requires an injection so I'm well versed in providing medication and taking care of animals with special needs. There's a giant pop up blocking what this field is meant to say but it's saying I have to fill it in, perhaps I can update it later when the pop up is gone.
“Very accommodating and took great care of our dogs! Lots of communication throughout the day, which made us feel extra comfortable and assured us that our dogs were having a great time. Would absolutely book again!”

“Kim has walked my anxious, medically-complex rescue dog multiple times a week for the past year. She does an awesome job with him and is always cheerful, professional, prompt and accommodating. I am very picky about who takes care of him because of all his issues and I feel so much better having Kim there to take care of my little guy.”

“Cindy made my pupper's first time with a Rover Professional easy and enjoyable. He's a gluten for attention and she was more than happy to provide him with all the attention and affection that he could take. A spectacular first impression for the services provided. 10/10 Would recommend.”

“Jessika was easily the best I’ve found in the app by far. I work long hours and require someone to stop by for a walk and food/water break. She was great with my puppy and even left a little surprise for her. My little girl seemed much less stressed after her visits and it completely removed the stress of worrying about her while working. I would absolutely recommend Jessika!”

“Zoe was great! She was always on-schedule and was very patient with my weird little girl. She does things like hiding when it's time to go out and then pulling a LOT once you finally get her out. But Zoe never complained and always hung around with the baby for a few minutes of love and play after the walk. My schedule has changed and no longer need a dog-walker, but if I ever need one again, will definitely look for her!”

I have experience with large dogs and small dogs, and with my time spent volunteering and also with my families own rescue animals, I believe I am a great fit for any dog. My family has a hard time leaving home to travel due to our rescues being not only very bonded to their owner, but perculiar on who they will spend time with. I hope to provide all families a sense of reassurance when needing any extra help! I graduated College in May '25 and am now in the waiting period of hearing back from Law Schools. My schedule is completely open all hours and all days of the week. Depending on the environment provided, I am confident in my ability to walk a dog of any size or just allow them to play in the comfort of their own backyard. Every dog is different and I am able to adjust however they are needing me to.

“She went out of her way to let me know that my dog would not go for a walk. She notified me to let me know because she was worried that something might be wrong. Turns out that it was around the Fourth of July. My dog has simply been spooked by the fireworks. She was reassured, and happily offered to play with her in her backyard.

About: I’ve had dogs, usually multiple ones, living with me for my entire life. I just so enjoy being with them and I have a very flexible work schedule so I can always help take care of your furry friend! I work from home and can always set my own schedule so I can be available almost anytime. I will make it a priority to take care of your dog. I have a pig named Beaker living with me and he has a wonderful personality and lives all other dogs. I’ll happily follow any directions you have for your baby and live to play with dogs in any fashion.

“We highly recommend David! This was our first time using Rover and we were nervous about leaving our dog, Olive, for a whole week with someone we didn't know. After meeting David, our fears dissipated and we felt pretty confident that Olive would enjoy her stay. David has a calm, gentle demeanor, and Olive seemed relaxed around him from the beginning. We enjoyed the daily pictures of Olive that he texted to us. We will definitely ask David again if we need someone to watch our dog!”

“Penny and Evan are amazing!! I was so impressed with how much love and care they gave to Sushi and Sasha. They walked, played with and petted my two dogs, as well as sending photos and videos. The best part is that the dogs really loved them and felt home!! I highly recommend and definitely will come back.”
