We couldn’t have been happier. Denver was right at home, getting walks that he loves as well as plenty of chill time and attention from Jesse and Emily as well as their two girls. Jesse and Emily were great about sending us photo updates that let us know that Denver was comfy and happy. About: I grew up around dogs, cats, and horses and have experience with other animals such as bearded dragons, snakes, geckos, sugar gliders, hedgehogs, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, and farm animals. I completed the two-year Veterinary Science course at MTC and interned at a local veterinary office and daycare during high school. I currently have 6 dogs and my neighbors have entrusted me with their pets' care multiple times over the years as well. About: I have cared for animals since I was little. We have had all kinds of pets from (hamsters, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, dogs, and cats). My 12 year old daughter loves animals and has worked over the years with dog sitting for hours at their house and walking the dogs in our neighborhood. I am a teacher. I am off during the summer and we are home every day. Even if I am not here for a few hours, I have two responsible tweens that are very capable of loving and caring for your pet. We live in a duplex with a mid size back yard. It is not fenced in, but I can put them on a long leash if needed for running. We also have a mile long road that makes a circle of our neighborhood. Even though our subdivision is under construction, we will have a pond and a play area for our dogs to play. We also are able to crate if needed. We have a small dog of our own that would love company and we have a guinea pig that stays in the living room in a fenced in area (which we can put in a cage in a bedroom if needed). Our dog is not crated and is allowed on the furniture and sleeps in our beds.

About: Just the 2 of us. Our sweet boy crossed over the rainbow bridge, and while we’re not quite ready to get another dog, we love making new paw friends! We both work from home, and have opposite schedules when leaving the house, so one of us is normally home! About: My first dog was with me for 14 years and I now have an 11 year old. Raised like family and to be trail dogs. I walk twice a day and provide plenty of affection. I work from home. There is a morning walk and then an afternoon walk with potty breaks during the day. I can travel within the Massanutten and Elkton areas. I can keep them on the current feeding schedule and provide bathroom breaks as needed. Crates are acceptable and specific instructions followed. I have a friendly Fruggle who gets along with everyone. We do prefer dog friendly dogs.

I attend James Madison University, so I will have classes with a varying schedule each weekday. I can stay full time at your home with your pets. I go to the gym, so I may be out for a short time to work out, but once I’m finished I’m right back at home with your pets! I have two dogs of my own. I feed/provide medication to them regularly (might go without saying) and I love to cuddle up with them on the floor and play with their toys with them. I’m very affectionate and will give your pets lots of attention and love.
About: Around my neighborhood, many have asked me to care for their dogs. I also cared for my 2 family dogs growing up. I have cared for many different animals and sizes as well. When it comes to scheduling, I am very flexible and understanding too. I love being the company to a furry friend! While I am working another job, I still have much free time to be able to play and walk your dog when needed. I'm very flexible and can always use a bit of experience myself for the dog and I to both stay strong and healthy! While I may not be able to take care of your dog inside of my house, we do have a park across my street as well as a safe neighborhood where many people walk their dogs and take strolls and runs on. While being over at someone's house I respect their privacy and only use what is needed for the dogs care.
About: I have taken care of animals since I was in elementary school! I have petsitting experience with dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, hamsters, tortoises, lizards, crabs, rats, birds, guinea pigs, and even chickens and turkeys! About: Hi there! I'm Carrie. I have been a pet owner and caretaker for over 15 years! I am experienced in walking, feeding, and otherwise caring for several types of pets. I currently own a cat and a dog, but I can also care for rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish! My main option here is dog walking, but I can also do drop-in visits as needed. I currently work part-time so I have plenty of time to care for your animals and take them for walks. I am available most weekends for drop-in visits, and I will house sit as needed! I will ensure that dogs remain safely leashed during all walks. If the temperature of asphalt is too warm for walks I make sure to stick to grassy areas. I ensure that I know current vet care and contact numbers for emergency situations.

Denver is almost 14 and so giving him the love and attention he’d get as the only dog in the home was really important to us, and not having to worry about him getting stressed out by younger dogs who constantly wanted to play for 6 days. We couldn’t have been happier. Denver was right at home, getting walks that he loves as well as plenty of chill time and attention from Jesse and Emily as well as their two girls. Jesse and Emily were great about sending us photo updates that let us know that Denver was comfy and happy.
