“Finn and Fiona had a great time staying with Connie and her family. They kept my dogs busy and happily playing, which is not an easy task as Finn is a 6 month old lab! She sent tons of pictures and videos, so I was able to relax and know that our pups were doing great and having a mini vacation too. They even went for a walk to the park which can be quite an event as Finn is an enthusiastic leash walker. Both Finn and Fiona came home and promptly fell into an exhausted sleep :] I would recommend Connie as a pet sitter and plan to book another stay for Finn and Fiona for an upcoming trip we have in November. ”

About: I have always had a soft spot for animals. I began working in the medical field but realized my heart was in the place to care for animals instead. I have my own "misfit farm" of unwanted animals and in my down time I am taking on dog walking/pet sitting. About: My first cat was named Jasper. He was a tiger stripe American shorthair with Jasper colored eyes (hence his name). He was a stray we took in, and we noticed he had a slight limp. After a visit to the vet, and some x-rays were taken, it was clear his left hip had been injured when he was younger (vet approximated his age to be 10 at the time). I cared for him while he had his cone, after his leg was amputated (poor guy!), ensuring he received the proper medications on time. My second cat was an all-black stray (not sure his breed), but I named him Kuro. I had him for a year and some change and gave him to my friend after moving to a pet-free community. I missed having a cat, so I searched and found Naruto, who was only 10 days old, and I adopted him on the spot! I've taught him all his little quirks, including back-talking lol! I trained him to come at the sound of a particular whistle, to jump up on something after I tap, or scrape it in a certain pattern, and taught him to play fetch! I am able to administer medications Intravenous, or Sub-q, as well as advise on best care practices!

My dogs get plenty of play time mainly with each other but i’ve done plenty of play time with them myself and can incorporate that with you dogs if they require play time! I also have dealt with older and sick dogs so I know how to be gentle and handle that. I have also had my own cat and watched others, I adore cats. Mine was sick for a while so i’m familiar with oral medication for cats and soothing cats’ anxieties as mine suffered heavily from unknown anxiety.
About: I’ve been around dogs and cats all my life and have always had pets since I was a kid. I’m really friendly with my friends’ pets and sometimes I’m more excited to see their pets than them😂. I’ve watched over some of my friends’ pets from time to time (cats and dogs). I have experience with both small dogs and large dogs as my one dog is a miniature dachshund, and my other is a Great Dane/German Shepherd Mix. I have had experience handling medications for animals for several years, as my cocker spaniel took medications for glaucoma and congestive heart failure. About: I have always had a soft spot for animals. I began working in the medical field but realized my heart was in the place to care for animals instead.
