About: I have always been an animal lover! I always have to stop and pet when I see them. I have often pet sat/boarded our neighbors animals for weeks even. I love all animals! I am currently a stay at home mom so I have extra time to come walk your pets, sit with them, or even for them to come stay with me I am home all day. About: I have grown up with many dogs and I volunteer at my local shelter walking dogs now so I really love being with all dogs! I work full time but I have some flexibility during the days here and there and I am free all evenings throughout the week and all weekends I provide individualized care and attention for each pet. About: I like to take a supervised yet hands-off approach to watching over dogs. That is, letting dogs be their curious and playful selves while making sure they're safe and well taken care of. I've owned dogs my whole life (breeds including portuguese water dog, rottweilers, maltese/poodle mix, terrier mix, schnauzer/poodle mix, and a german shepherd currently) and find that they are happier and better behaved when given freedom to explore and lead rather than be expected to remain obedient and tame at all times. Some pups need more structure and thrive on a little more rigidity though, and I am very capable of meeting whatever their needs are and sticking to what you know is best for their personality. I am easily swooned by all kinds of dogs but am not one to let them use their good looks and charm to get the best of me. I am mostly just excited to hang out with as many of these guys as I can! I do want to be transparent that I work regular hours Mon - Fri, so I cannot stay with your pups 24/7 during the week. That being said, lunch time bathroom breaks are a guarantee! Walks in the morning and in the evening, and a quick potty break in the afternoon! I do have a day job, but your sweet pup will always be my first priority. I have a large backyard and live just a few short minutes from the Huckleberry Trail 🙂 I also have a spacious yard where your furry friend can roam free!
About: I am a new sitter on Rover, but don’t let that put you off. :) My family has never known a time where we didn’t have pets! When I was five years old, my parents entrusted to me a sweet black kitty for whom I was solely responsible for. Fridays and weekends, however, are wide open! I have two sweet, playful cats currently and live in an apartment, so it is likely that care will be provided in your house! I often find this is better anyway, as your pet is already comfortable in their home and less likely to feel stress with change.

I am currently a student in college studying consumer studies. My mornings, afternoons, and late evenings tend to be most free as I have classes in between. About: I lived around both dogs and cats my whole life, with both family and roommates, and I absolutely love it. While I'm not in the position to have my own furry friend at the moment, I love to care for animals. I spent about a year (2025) volunteering with the MCACAC shelter cats and dogs in Christiansburg, including participating in their training courses, and now feel confident bringing that experience to work with pets that already have found their families as well. I'm currently job hunting, so my schedule is extremely flexible and I am available throughout the day. I am occasionally out of town for travel or job-search related activities. My apartment is is pet-free, so I cannot host pets at this time. As far as working with pets in your home, please let me know your house rules. I generally use whatever items the pet uses at home (leash, treats, etc) for the sake of consistency for the pet and pet parent.

About: I am a lover of all animals! You can trust me with your rodents, reptiles, cats, dogs, and birds! I have experience with most common household pets as well as administering medication to them. My experience working at the vet makes me the perfect person to watch your furry friends. I’m currently trying to find a job in the Blacksburg/Christiansburg area but until then I am looking to pet sit. I do online classes, so I will have plenty of time to spend with your pets! In my house, we do not smoke or vape inside, for the cat’s health. They are all inside cats, and fully vaccinated as well as spayed. They have strict feeding schedules which are always followed to a T. My cat, Pop Smoke, receives eye drops daily so if you need someone who you can trust to administer medication, that’s me! I can also give pills, liquid medication, and administer insulin.
About: I have a small bichon who’s my first dog. I trained him alone and have been the sole provider for him. I even take him with me to college and have learned the ins and outs! I’ve even taken care of my friends dogs as well during their trips! I am available most times everyday. I’m home for the summer and have my own transportation. I can be there within minutes if it’s needed! The pets come first 100%. After everything’s taken care of I like to clean after them and make sure everything’s how it was before I even stepped inside!
About: I’ve had dogs for over ten years, cats my whole life, been pet sitting for 4 years, and even worked at a doggy daycare for six months. I have experience caring for animals for up to 2 weeks at a time and have cared for dogs, cats, and bunnies. I work at Wonder Universe, the children’s museum in Christiansburg, about 15 hours a week! About: I have dog sat for neighbors and family since I was 12. I have had rescue dogs since I was born and they are like family to me. I’m proficient in walking, feeding, bathing, and giving your furry friend love. I currently have a short class schedule and work part time so I have a lot of flexibility in my days and nights. About: I owned a beautiful 7 year old St. Bernard and although he was stubborn he taught me a lot. I am able to control and establish a barrier of trust between us to ensure my safety, his and the safety of those around us because let's be honest he is a big boy (180 lbs to be exact). Taking care of such a big boy, ensures me that I will be able to take care of your fur baby, no matter the size, or temperament. I have cared for many other dogs and house sat a few with behavioral problems as well. I am currently working part time, however my schedule is not exact, so as long as you reach out I will most likely be able to accommodate you and your furry friend. I have a front yard and a large crate meant for any size if necessary. I live in a townhome and can take your dog for as many or as little walks as they need.
