We spend a lot of time outside playing ball and frisbee! We live on a farm and have plenty of land for them to run around! I will make sure they are comfortable and taken care of! My Chihuahua-Terrier “Charlie” was a rescue. He’s your typical “yappy” Chihuahua that I said I would never have but I couldn’t leave him homeless! My Aussie is energetic and is always looking for a playmate! Can’t wait to meet them! Our dogs are on a schedule but sometimes we spend more days outside than in depending on the weather. They will always be watched and never left alone! I live on over 3 acres and have a huge fenced in field where we go to play and potty! They have plenty of room to play and are always accompanied outside. We only crate if that is part of their routine. We are up early every morning (life of living on a farm!) Our Aussie loves to play until the sun goes down. Our animals typically eat the same time everyday. I feel it’s important to keep your animals on a consistent daily routine! I care for our guests the same as I care for my own dogs. They will be in a loving and calm household while they are here.

I worked for veterinary services specializing in boarding care for 8 years through out schooling -Will ensure your home is left in the condition received with minimal housekeeping (will take trash out and clean up any pet accidents they may have due to medical conditions. Additional requests can be discussed with or without additional pricing) -Our commitment is to ensure your pets safety, emotionally and physically as if they are our own -Regular updates will be provided streamlining communication -I choose Rover over other traditional “2nd jobs”, because I want to enjoy the work we do! Looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies! I have a full-time job, however, remotely!! This allows one person at all times to care for your pets, during most hours! My personal break(s) will be scheduled based on both client and provider agreed upon schedules. For example: after evening pet care, there will be a 2-4 hour provider break for dinner and family time before returning for overnight care. Home has pvc wood vinyl for easy mess clean up. The yard is flat and fully fenced in. Warmer weather will have plastic kiddo pools for dogs to cool off. If your dog weighs more than 85 pounds, I require dogs to be leashed trained and/or with a “no pull” dog harness for the safety of your pet and care taker. Meaning, dogs that continually pull excessively while on leash, will either receive short potty breaks, or only “fenced-in” activities. This will be agreed upon at initial encounter. I make an excellent house/petsitter due to my experience with and love for animals and my tidy and loving personality! ** I charge $45 / night for 1-6 night house stays, but have a sliding scale for longer sits (negotiable at the time of request). I am open to traveling farther distances for 1+ week sits. I am attending VCU for my MSW M-F from 8-4, so I have limited availability for midday potty breaks/check-ins during the week, but I have open availability most evenings and weekends. For boarding requests, my partner works from my home and is available to offer potty breaks/check-ins for pets while I’m at school. I’m happy with staying overnight for housesitting or sharing my home for boarding! I have the utmost care and respect for my clients pets and homes and treat them as if they were my own.
