“Abigail was an amazing sitter! Our previous Rover had ghosted us 2 days before Christmas and Abigail was more than understanding about the last minute scheduling. She sent us updates and photos multiple times throughout the days that she had Sadie and we could not be more grateful! We will absolutely reschedule with Abigail again.”
“Riley had the best time over the weekend playing with Walter and getting all of the cuddles! Amanda was so flexible and did a wonderful job keeping us updated about Riley’s stay with plenty of pictures. It was comforting to know he was in great hands during our weekend away.”

“Lyra and Scott and their family totally loved on our little Sassafras. We are so appreciative of their care and all the pictures and updates. I would recommend them to anyone looking for care for their fur babies. Will use them again! ?”

“I can only agree with all the amazing reviews! I was scared my two frenchies would not want to leave Stephanies house. They had a blast. You can feel 110 percent confident in leaving your pets with them. We will book again with Stephanie for sure!”
“Teona & Louelyn were awesome and I would highly recommend boarding your fur babies with them! When I reached out, they responded very quickly and were very professional. They asked lots of questions to get to know how to best care for my kitten and they sent regular updates about her wellbeing, which included pictures and videos. Definitely appreciated the peace of mind and would recommend their services to anyone!”

“Our cat spent three weeks under Paul and Terri’s care. We received regular updates on our cat, and it was apparent they treated our kitty as if he was their own. His living conditions and care was superb. When we picked up our cat, he was super relaxed and in great condition. Kudos to Paul and Terri for being so caring and professional boarding animals left in their care.”

“Lauryn was an incredible sitter! She accommodated all of my dogs’ needs and likes. She took care of my boys, Ace and Adonis, as if they were her own. I loved that she sent pictures and videos of them every day. It was such a bonus and put my mind at ease to see them having fun while I was away. I highly recommend her and we will be back! 🐾😊 Thank you Lauryn!”

“Our Dixie had a wonderful stay with Shania and her family. We were sent pictures and updates during Dixie’s stay. She was well taken care of and we will definitely be planning another stay with Shania.”

“Crystal was so organized and well prepared leading up to our dog’s stay with her. Once there, she was proactive with communication, sent pictures, and helped us feel at ease knowing our dog was well cared for. I would highly recommend Crystal and am so glad that we booked with her!”

“Tara and her family were amazing with my dog. As a rescue, my dog is nervous in new situations. I appreciate all the great care that she provided. My dog had a great time and she cared for her with the same level of care that I would.”

“Brittany was able to answer many questions and provide a meet and greet prior to watching Bean. I had already met with 5 other sitters who weren't the right fit. Brittany came prepared to also ask me questions to Better understand how to best care for Bean. Lima Bean had a great stay even with thunderstorms present which causes her the most anxiety. She was spoiled and even came home with a cute Bandana. Brittany understood how important it was for me to receive multiple updates a day that encompassed pictures. This eased my mind that she was doing well. I would definitely recommend Brittany due to her pet knowledge and friendly personality.”

“Hilary and her family took great care of my dog Peanut! I appreciated her updates and flexibility through the stay. Our pup had anxiety and she took great care to make her comfortable. We will definitely use her again in the future!”
“Lora was great with our young dog! She was so kind and sent daily updates about their time together. This was my first time using a sitter who was not family with a pet. She gave me complete peace of mind with her knowledge and experience.”

“They took great care of our older dog. We could not have asked for a better first experience using Rover. Plenty of updates and we were able to relax and enjoy family vacation time knowing he was being well loved and cared for.”

“Cristen and her whole family were absolutely amazing with my Norman!! Sent updates regularly and treated him as their own. I couldn’t be more appreciative of them!!”

“She was really great- she took care of both my cats consistently and was responsive, trustworthy, and sweet. Extremely flexible on my dates of travel changing as well- I would definitely use her again!”

“I cannot speak highly enough of Lily! She watched our cat Marco over 4 days. Lily was unbelievably awesome! She knew how to build trust with cats and spent time doing it. She interpreted all Marco's body language excellently, and knew how and when to approach, and when to leave things be. Lily gave amazing updates on each visit and all the photos helped me miss him in a balanced way so that I could be present for the important life event we couldn't take him with us on. Lily was incredibly thoughtful around little touches in his environment to help him stay comfortable and safe. She even was able to navigate coming out to do her visits on our boat where we all live. What can this woman not do? Nothing it seems. Worth every penny and more. Looking for someone who is so good they have all the qualifications of an animal behaviorist PhD? Lily is your girl!!”

“Holli was above and beyond while watching my cats! She is so kind and responsible, and was even able to get our shyest cat to greet her! Not only did she give constant updates, but was also incredible flexible and responsive through out her stay. I can’t recommend Holli enough as I am 100% certain your pets will be in the best care! I will for sure be contacting Holli in the future :)”

“We knew the moment Kelly walked in for our meet and greet that she was our choice, as all of our babies surrounded her asking for attention and pets and Lana made herself comfortable next to her on the couch. If momma approves we all do! However, she met and exceeded our expectations during the visits with tons of pictures and gave us a sense of calm being away from our babies for the first time. They loved her and looked so calm and happy when we came back that she will definitely be out go to sitter and we’ll pass the word to our friends because it was a great experience! Thank you Kelly!”

“We were staying at a campground and wanted to go to Busch Gardens for the day! Briana came and let the babies out and fed them and sent cute pics! Highly recommend and will use her again when in the area ?”

“If I could give Renee 10 stars I would. She is amazing - kind, responsive, thoughtful, genuinely cares and showed a lot of heart while taking care of our very elderly cat when we were out of town. She kept us posted, gave us updates, sent us pictures, and was simply a delight. When we returned from our trip Renee had taken care of everything, made sure everything was tidy, and my cat was relaxed and happy and clearly well loved. Knowing our beloved pet (and family member) was in such good hands allowed me to actually relax!!!, which is priceless. I recommend Renee with lots of enthusiasm and zero reservations. She's a lifesaver!”

“Victor and Abigail were awesome and took extra steps to make sure our anxious pup had a great time. They sent us videos and pictures every day, which we really appreciated. After his first day in daycare, my dog was very excited to return on the following days. He seemed to really like the folks who took care of him and was nice and tired once I picked him up. Staying with these folks was definitely a mini vacation for my dog!”

“Ellie G. is a great communicator with photo updates. The daycare day went well and Annie O was introduced to Ellie’s chickens and I’m sure she wanted to get a little closer but Ellie was great keeping Annie away from them. Annie also met Ellie’s dog and it appears that they both made a new friend. The day was a success.”

“Lynn is very nice and kept me updated. Every so often she sent me pictures of Annie and their outings. Very communicative. I love that. We will definitely use Lynn again and will recommend her to friends. All in all it was a great day for Annie.”

About: I’ve worked in pet care professionally for 9 years, 4 of those years being spent in veterinary medicine. I approach pet care in ways that makes the pets most comfortable and value building relationships with the pets as much as I do my clients. I have an academic background in public health and am currently pursuing higher education with the end goal of earning a DVM. I am currently working full time at an animal hospital in Newport News, making my schedule more limited than it used to be for my pet sitting clients. My schedule is more workable for households located in Deltaville, Topping, Gloucester, Glouster Point, Hayes and Yorktown. Morning and evening visits are possible all days of the week, mid day / afternoon visits are currently limited to weekends. Please reach out to ask about scheduling possibilities! Early AM (before 7:30AM) and evening (after 6pm) visits available all week. Afternoon / mid day visits are dependent on location and day, but open every weekend. I do not let dogs off-leash in non-fenced in areas or in spaces with dogs unfamiliar to yours. I require all dogs and cats to be updated on their rabies vaccines. I will not take an unaltered dog outside of his or her home, this is for the safety and wellbeing of your dog. If your dog struggles with behavioral issues and has a history of aggression, please include this in your message so I can help you decide the best options for your pet when it comes to meeting a new pet sitter. If your dog struggles with severe anxiety (this is very common!) please include some of the best anxiety-reducing practices for your dog (ex. favorite blanket, hiding spots, calming treats / jackets) in their care instructions so that they can have the best time possible without their favorite human.

“the service was listed as Abigail, but Victor was actually our walker. Victor handled my two fellas very professionally, both dogs were always very anxious to hit the trail. Victor helped with putting on their walking gear, and was very flexible when we needed to reschedule because of rain. He sent daily reports to my email, showing their walking route and activities (bathroom and rest breaks). Thirty minute sessions were just right and both pups were ready to settle down for naps. My dogs were a 45# tall beagle and a similar weight Brittany Spaniel. I highly recommend this service and will use again when need arises. Thanks Victor.”

About: I started working at a boarding barn facility when I was 13. With the long list of animals I cared for, taking care of the barn cats and dogs were my favorite. I started studying veterinary care and animals science in high school; during these classes we learn animal behavior, anatomy, and even proper grooming. Now I am looking to start a career in Vet Science! I own 4 cats. Everyday is animal care, from basic feeding, grooming, cleaning to vet visits and cuddles. I’ve owned dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I still work with local farms, so animal care is extremely important to me. Basic care for all animals includes food and clean water everyday. Litter gets scooped once a day and dogs get let out however many times they need. I am 100% willing to do extra care as needed for the animals and clients!

“Our dogs loved Deana. They received great walks and lots of love. Deana was very professional and very responsive when there were questions. The updates on the walks and the dogs were fantastic.”
“Candace did a FABULOUS job with our dogs, Banks and Brix. She was in constant communication with us and sent pictures so we could see they were having a good time and being well taken care of. Two thumbs up for Candace!”

“Cristen and her whole family were absolutely amazing with my Norman!! Sent updates regularly and treated him as their own. I couldn’t be more appreciative of them!!”

“Jeff and family are fantastic! Brooke has visited twice now and already feels right at home. She loves her playmates and is always excited to go back. We’re so happy to have found such a great place for her”

“We had another great experience with Jared. This was the second time he's taken care of our dog, and he was excellent. We received daily pictures and updates, and our dog had a great time. We will definitely keep using him.”

“Carly was an amazing sitter for our dog! Very responsible, flexible, and friendly with prompt communication. She gave us peace of mind and Shiv had a great time at her home while we were out-of-town.”
