“We came to VA to bring our son to college, the furbaby was slightly in the way (please don’t tell him I said that!)…so, I contacted Tyrah and she responded immediately and was willing to take our baby with short notice. Tyrah was an absolute god send. She was so polite, her place is super clean— I think my baby came back cleaner than I left him! lol… She sent me daily pictures of my baby settling in just fine with her. He came back mild mannered with his lover boy cuddly personality (usually he comes back from sitters pretty rowdy and jumpy), but not this time. I honestly couldn’t tell he had been away. I have bulldogs of my own so I have a lot of experience with eye and oral medication administration for dogs, and cleaning regimens. We believe in our house that it’s the utmost priority that dogs are loved and advocated for. If you trust me with your pup, I will make sure that they are taken care of the way you would take care of them; with all the love, care and understanding that you put into your relationship with your dog. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care. I am currently not working a full-time job in person so I have lots of flexibility. I do work from home and I have the flexibility on the days that I do work. At my home, we have a very loving environment for dogs. A big concern when you utilize a Dog sitter is the safety of your pet and so at our house, we do have rules that we follow routines that we make with each individual Dog and we focus on trying to keep those routines to make sure that every dog is safe and taken care of. For senior dogs we can also offer accommodations for their physical disabilities as well as offering separate spaces where they can rest on their own without interacting with other dogs. If you have a puppy or a dog that has been difficult to train, I can also offer some basic training skills that I’ll use with my dogs to make sure that everybody stays safe and is comfortable during their visit whether I’m visiting your home or you’re having your dog visit my home.

About: I've worked in animal welfare & shelters since 2015. I have lots of experience working with dogs and cats with various personalities and needs. I personally own 3 dogs and several cats all at various ages. One of my cats is disabled- and I've owned and worked with dogs and cats that have special needs (seziures, CH, deaf, blind), take daily medications, and possess specific breed traits/personalities that can't make them difficult to manage. Currently work remote and have a large amount of flexibility in between travel for work. I can prov8de limited boarding in home- dogs must be able to coexhist with cats, be able to be crated and/or left in a single room unattended, and be respectful of baby gates. I do have a separate space for cats that is easier to manage. Current cats in the home do free roams but there is an entire space devoted to the dogs in the home. Can crate and rotate as needed and care for up to 2 dogs if everyone can get along. In your home I prefer to stick to as close of a routine that you provide them with- from their potty breaks to morning and evening walks. Staying as consistent as possible can help provide a relaxing trip for you and your pet.

About: I've taken care of pets from dogs to lizards since I was 12, and have been doing drop-ins and house-sitting for family, friends, and my community for as long as I've been able to drive. I'm able to give meds for older dogs with more needs, and have trained my own dogs well in obedience training, so I have plenty of experience with a firm voice for more unruly dogs that need a little extra attention. I'm good with all animals (even the wild ones), and have experience caring for animals that need to stay separated, and am willing and able to adapt to any family I need. About: I used to work for farmville Va animal shelter for two years,I worked for a private dog boarding center for a year, and I used to have a small business for a year in Farmville Va for pet sitting. I adore and love animals with all my heart, growing up wasn’t easy but having a friendly face such as a pet made it a lot easier. I rescued my hound, Mrs Eve and she has been the best blessing I could ask for. I found her on the side of the road super sick and could barely walk, so I took her to the shelter and adopted her on Christmas Eve! She is up to date with all of her shots and is in very good health! When I found her they believed she was 6-7 weeks old but she was actually 6 months old but was super sick from parasites eating her from inside-out, now she is four years old and living her best life! When I pet sit, I treat the animals as my own! I enjoy being the only sitter with the animals, as I love their love and affection! I am a full caretaker of my dog as well! I work on the weekends so my week days are usually free! Me and my husband have a routine with our dog so we walk her before heading to work and as soon as we get home we walk her as well. She does have food down throughout the day but usually only eats if we are home from work as she sleeps all day! We play with her and her mountain of toys when we come home from work. We do trails/beach walk with her on days we are not busy or working as she deserves to have adventures as well! She sometimes sees our neighbors Dog outside so we allow them two to play together for a little before returning inside! I only have my hound dog Mrs Eve and she stays indoors as we live in an apartment but me and my husband goes on trails with her,take her outside a lot throughout the day and when we aren’t home we have a Roku camera watching her to make sure she is safe! Our neighbor has our number incase of any danger to the building because we would drop anything for the safety of our child (our dog Eve)!

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 14, caring for pets both in my own home and in their homes while their families are away. Over the years, I’ve gained plenty of experience making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your furry family members! I work from 8:00 AM–5:30 PM on weekdays, but I have a lengthy break during the day that gives me flexibility for walks, drop-ins, potty breaks, and plenty of attention. My evenings and weekends are also more flexible, allowing me to spend extra time making sure your pet gets the care, companionship, and exercise they need! Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. About: I have been a farm technician for around 2 years but have worked as a vet hand and in pet boarding. Ive had many cats and dogs throughout my life, so I know that there not just pets. There family. I'm a early bird so your pet will get lots of walks and play in the moring. My work scedual only interups my afternoons so your pet will have my full attention all moring and night. I'll not only make sure your pet is taken care of but your home as well. Your cat/dogs messes are apart of the job, so you won't have to worry about coming home to spills or axadents
About: I've worked in animal welfare & shelters since 2015. I have lots of experience working with dogs and cats with various personalities and needs. I personally own 3 dogs and several cats all at various ages. One of my cats is disabled- and I've owned and worked with dogs and cats that have special needs (seziures, CH, deaf, blind), take daily medications, and possess specific breed traits/personalities that can't make them difficult to manage. Currently work remote and have a large amount of flexibility in between travel for work. I can prov8de limited boarding in home- dogs must be able to coexhist with cats, be able to be crated and/or left in a single room unattended, and be respectful of baby gates. I do have a separate space for cats that is easier to manage. Current cats in the home do free roams but there is an entire space devoted to the dogs in the home. Can crate and rotate as needed and care for up to 2 dogs if everyone can get along. In your home I prefer to stick to as close of a routine that you provide them with- from their potty breaks to morning and evening walks. Staying as consistent as possible can help provide a relaxing trip for you and your pet.
About: Skills include: medication application, IV fluids, walking, playing, vet appointments, pregnancy assistance in birth, feeding, cleaning, bathing and most importantly cuddles! (Cuddles with consent of course) I have a remote job that doesn’t take up a lot of time so I am usually available and I have a love and passion for caring for animals and pets! I love animals and I had a cat named Precious for 18 years. I got a job at a vet hospital not only because I loved pets but because it was best for Precious. I was able to give her the best quality of life through my job and she sadly passed away in 2025. She was my special girl and I am ready to start caring for animals again. They matter a lot to me and I can’t bring myself to get another cat so I figured all the love and care I have in my heart, I should use it for good and help others in taking care of their precious babies. I’ve learned a lot while working at a vet hospital as well.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life of all sizes. From chihuahua's to Newfoundlands and everything in between I love all types of dogs! My dogs are like my kids so if you ever hear me talking about my kids I am referring to my dogs. :) If your dog is mellow or hyper I am more then willing to fit the needs they require. I am home full time so your pup will always have whatever they need as my schedule is flexible. If your pet has depression or anxiety I will take the extra time needed with them to make them feel comfortable and calm while you’re away! I know how important your pets are to you, they are not just pets they are family and I wouldn't treat them any other way! *I am open too pet sitting outside the area Rover makes us sitters set. The only cost adjustment will be for gas and possible travel time depending on distance. This is more than just a part time job too me. Caring for pets is a passion and is something I enjoy. The experience you and your pets have is of the up most importance. I will ask a lot of questions about your pets daily routines, things they like and don’t like. This is important because it helps your animals be less stressed if they are sticking to a routine they are used too. This also helps me to understand them better which increases quality of care.
About: I have always had a love for pets! I got my latest dogther 5 years ago and she is a bundle of joy! Others may say I spoil her but I call it just loving her! ! All of my friends and family count on me to care for their pets while they are away and they know that they are in great hands and I will "spoil" their baby just as much as I do my own! “We came to VA to bring our son to college, the furbaby was slightly in the way (please don’t tell him I said that!)…so, I contacted Tyrah and she responded immediately and was willing to take our baby with short notice. Tyrah was an absolute god send. She was so polite, her place is super clean— I think my baby came back cleaner than I left him! lol… She sent me daily pictures of my baby settling in just fine with her. He came back mild mannered with his lover boy cuddly personality (usually he comes back from sitters pretty rowdy and jumpy), but not this time. I honestly couldn’t tell he had been away. As much as I want to keep Tyrah a secret (and take her back to GA with me), I’ll tell y’all how great she is and what an amazing gem you have in the Hampton area! She truly was the best! She did everything I asked and more. I appreciate her a million times over and will contact her whenever we’re in town!
