“We came to VA to bring our son to college, the furbaby was slightly in the way (please don’t tell him I said that!)…so, I contacted Tyrah and she responded immediately and was willing to take our baby with short notice. Tyrah was an absolute god send. She was so polite, her place is super clean— I think my baby came back cleaner than I left him! lol… She sent me daily pictures of my baby settling in just fine with her. He came back mild mannered with his lover boy cuddly personality (usually he comes back from sitters pretty rowdy and jumpy), but not this time. I honestly couldn’t tell he had been away. About: I've taken care of many cats since I was 16, from friends to family to my community, I have experience with trimming claws, giving meds, and giving space for them to sort me out themselves. About: I can feed meals of pet food ,walk on leash in your area, cleanup after pets on walks with your baggie and yard, love to feed treats from your home, love play time and brushing pets, I believe they love to be talk to ( at least my pets do) . I have only 1 corgi Louie in my my home .I have had up to 4 corgi's in my home in the past. I have pet sit for many friends when out of town. Everyone in my family has a dog or cat so I have plenty of experience. However I can brush your dog or wipe their paws off if needed but I do not bath or trim nails in service. “I could rave about how absolutely amazing Samantha was with my Khaleesi for hours, but I’ll keep it short for reading purposes. My dog Khaleesi is a high anxiety dog and does not do well with strangers and typically hides from them. Samantha had her during the day for 3 days, and from day 1 Khaleesi took right to her. It did take some warming up time, but Samantha kept me very updated and sent pictures throughout the day. By the end of the 3 days, Khaleesi was walking into Samantha’s house without hesitation and didn’t even turn around to look at me. Samantha is incredible and I highly recommend her!!!!”

Currently work remote and have a large amount of flexibility in between travel for work. I can prov8de limited boarding in home- dogs must be able to coexhist with cats, be able to be crated and/or left in a single room unattended, and be respectful of baby gates. I do have a separate space for cats that is easier to manage. Current cats in the home do free roams but there is an entire space devoted to the dogs in the home. Can crate and rotate as needed and care for up to 2 dogs if everyone can get along. In your home I prefer to stick to as close of a routine that you provide them with- from their potty breaks to morning and evening walks. Staying as consistent as possible can help provide a relaxing trip for you and your pet.

About: I have been a dog mom for the past 15 years and I love taking care of all types of dogs! I have bulldogs of my own so I have a lot of experience with eye and oral medication administration for dogs, and cleaning regimens. We believe in our house that it’s the utmost priority that dogs are loved and advocated for. If you trust me with your pup, I will make sure that they are taken care of the way you would take care of them; with all the love, care and understanding that you put into your relationship with your dog. About: I used to work for farmville Va animal shelter for two years,I worked for a private dog boarding center for a year, and I used to have a small business for a year in Farmville Va for pet sitting. I adore and love animals with all my heart, growing up wasn’t easy but having a friendly face such as a pet made it a lot easier. I rescued my hound, Mrs Eve and she has been the best blessing I could ask for. I found her on the side of the road super sick and could barely walk, so I took her to the shelter and adopted her on Christmas Eve! She is up to date with all of her shots and is in very good health! When I found her they believed she was 6-7 weeks old but she was actually 6 months old but was super sick from parasites eating her from inside-out, now she is four years old and living her best life! When I pet sit, I treat the animals as my own! I enjoy being the only sitter with the animals, as I love their love and affection! I am a full caretaker of my dog as well! I work on the weekends so my week days are usually free! Me and my husband have a routine with our dog so we walk her before heading to work and as soon as we get home we walk her as well. She does have food down throughout the day but usually only eats if we are home from work as she sleeps all day! We play with her and her mountain of toys when we come home from work. We do trails/beach walk with her on days we are not busy or working as she deserves to have adventures as well! She sometimes sees our neighbors Dog outside so we allow them two to play together for a little before returning inside! I only have my hound dog Mrs Eve and she stays indoors as we live in an apartment but me and my husband goes on trails with her,take her outside a lot throughout the day and when we aren’t home we have a Roku camera watching her to make sure she is safe! Our neighbor has our number incase of any danger to the building because we would drop anything for the safety of our child (our dog Eve)!

About: I have always had a love for pets! I got my latest dogther 5 years ago and she is a bundle of joy! Others may say I spoil her but I call it just loving her! ! All of my friends and family count on me to care for their pets while they are away and they know that they are in great hands and I will "spoil" their baby just as much as I do my own! I am a former Elementary school teacher. I’ve also worked with special needs children/adults. I am currently a life insurance broker and I work on my own schedule. Which will allow me to care for your pet anytime. I have a girl dog that is small, lovable, and will keep your fur baby company! I can also crate your dog if need be.
About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life of all sizes. From chihuahua's to Newfoundlands and everything in between I love all types of dogs! My dogs are like my kids so if you ever hear me talking about my kids I am referring to my dogs. :) If your dog is mellow or hyper I am more then willing to fit the needs they require. I am home full time so your pup will always have whatever they need as my schedule is flexible. If your pet has depression or anxiety I will take the extra time needed with them to make them feel comfortable and calm while you’re away! I know how important your pets are to you, they are not just pets they are family and I wouldn't treat them any other way! *I am open too pet sitting outside the area Rover makes us sitters set. The only cost adjustment will be for gas and possible travel time depending on distance. This is more than just a part time job too me. Caring for pets is a passion and is something I enjoy. The experience you and your pets have is of the up most importance. I will ask a lot of questions about your pets daily routines, things they like and don’t like. This is important because it helps your animals be less stressed if they are sticking to a routine they are used too. This also helps me to understand them better which increases quality of care.
About: I can feed meals of pet food ,walk on leash in your area, cleanup after pets on walks with your baggie and yard, love to feed treats from your home, love play time and brushing pets, I believe they love to be talk to ( at least my pets do) . I have only 1 corgi Louie in my my home .I have had up to 4 corgi's in my home in the past. I have pet sit for many friends when out of town. Everyone in my family has a dog or cat so I have plenty of experience. However I can brush your dog or wipe their paws off if needed but I do not bath or trim nails in service. I am use to training my dogs to walk if helpful to you. However i am not a certified dog trainer

“We came to VA to bring our son to college, the furbaby was slightly in the way (please don’t tell him I said that!)…so, I contacted Tyrah and she responded immediately and was willing to take our baby with short notice. Tyrah was an absolute god send. She was so polite, her place is super clean— I think my baby came back cleaner than I left him! lol… She sent me daily pictures of my baby settling in just fine with her. He came back mild mannered with his lover boy cuddly personality (usually he comes back from sitters pretty rowdy and jumpy), but not this time. I honestly couldn’t tell he had been away. As much as I want to keep Tyrah a secret (and take her back to GA with me), I’ll tell y’all how great she is and what an amazing gem you have in the Hampton area! She truly was the best! She did everything I asked and more. I appreciate her a million times over and will contact her whenever we’re in town! About: I've worked in animal welfare & shelters since 2015. I have lots of experience working with dogs and cats with various personalities and needs. I personally own 3 dogs and several cats all at various ages. One of my cats is disabled- and I've owned and worked with dogs and cats that have special needs (seziures, CH, deaf, blind), take daily medications, and possess specific breed traits/personalities that can't make them difficult to manage. Currently work remote and have a large amount of flexibility in between travel for work. I can prov8de limited boarding in home- dogs must be able to coexhist with cats, be able to be crated and/or left in a single room unattended, and be respectful of baby gates. I do have a separate space for cats that is easier to manage. Current cats in the home do free roams but there is an entire space devoted to the dogs in the home. Can crate and rotate as needed and care for up to 2 dogs if everyone can get along. In your home I prefer to stick to as close of a routine that you provide them with- from their potty breaks to morning and evening walks. Staying as consistent as possible can help provide a relaxing trip for you and your pet.
