She has an area just for the dogs that she boards, was incredibly knowledgeable about dog behaviors and how to handle them. I was especially nervous because my youngest dog is reactive. Erica knew precisely how to manage that. She even worked with my reactive dog and my dog was very responsive. I received ample communication and photos throughout my dogs stay with her. “I could rave about how absolutely amazing Samantha was with my Khaleesi for hours, but I’ll keep it short for reading purposes. My dog Khaleesi is a high anxiety dog and does not do well with strangers and typically hides from them. Samantha had her during the day for 3 days, and from day 1 Khaleesi took right to her. It did take some warming up time, but Samantha kept me very updated and sent pictures throughout the day. By the end of the 3 days, Khaleesi was walking into Samantha’s house without hesitation and didn’t even turn around to look at me. Samantha is incredible and I highly recommend her!!!!”

About: I have one small 3 legged rescue and just adopted another rescue September 2025 who is recovering from being hit by a car. Both are chihuahua s Prior to moving to Virginia I fostered both cats and dogs. I was known as a foster failure since I adopted many of my fosters and at one time I had 8 dogs. I love all animal but have a special place in my heart for dogs. I am retired and have lots of time on my hands and would love to spend some time with your dog when you are not able to. I will treat them as if they were mine9. I have two small dog that does fine with other dogs. My yard is fenced and secure. I believe dogs belong in the house since they are part of the family.
