He lived to be only 13 because of a heart defect,, but he was my best buddy for many years. After his passing,, I was given an orange tabby/angora which my mom named Morris. He lived a very long life,(19 years). I went on to own many wonderful dogs and cats over the years. My current pets are a French bulldog named Frankie and a blonde Tabby named Alyssa. They both get along well with other dogs and cats. I'm retired and have plenty of free time to care for your furbabies. I have raised pitbulls and chow chows and personally house-trained many puppies. I have a large backyard that is not fenced but I live in a very walkable neighborhood I always try to make a new pet as comfortable as possible in my home. I want them to feel safe and loved.

“I could rave about how absolutely amazing Samantha was with my Khaleesi for hours, but I’ll keep it short for reading purposes. My dog Khaleesi is a high anxiety dog and does not do well with strangers and typically hides from them. Samantha had her during the day for 3 days, and from day 1 Khaleesi took right to her. It did take some warming up time, but Samantha kept me very updated and sent pictures throughout the day. By the end of the 3 days, Khaleesi was walking into Samantha’s house without hesitation and didn’t even turn around to look at me. Samantha is incredible and I highly recommend her!!!!”

About: I have had family dogs all of my life and currently have a Pitbull named Suki that I love so dearly! I gravitate toward any pet I meet. Animals/pets (bonus family members) hold a special place in my heart. I work full time and I am fully available Thursday - Saturday. I am available throughout the day on those select days and can be pretty flexible. Depending on if your pet grazes or eats a certain amount of times a day I can accommodate to anything. Micheal playing out in the yard with him throwing the ball. The whole family gave Neeko lots of love as if he were their own. Once I picked Neeko up and got him home, he slept the rest of the day. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I have spent the last 3 years volunteering with Hope for Life Rescue and Penninsula Regional Animal Shelter, working hands on with pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, from bottle feeding kittens and puppies to caring for senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. I’m the go-to person for family and friends whenever they need someone reliable and loving to care for their pets, whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, daycare, or overnight boarding. I have experience administering medications, handling nervous or shy animals, and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like family. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal, and I treat every animal as if they were my own, with patience, compassion, and plenty of love. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because animals are already a big part of my life. I volunteer regularly with a local rescue and animal shelter, foster when needed, and I also run my own business from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and boarding. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and exercise, and my own pets (two cats and one dog) are all friendly, well socialized, and up to date on their vaccines. My dog, Mercury, just turned two and is full of energy. She loves meeting other dogs and enjoys playdates, which makes her a great companion for social pups who enjoy interaction and play. My goal is always to create a calm, trustworthy environment where both pets and pet parents feel comfortable and confident.
