About: My first cat was named Jasper. He was a tiger stripe American shorthair with Jasper colored eyes (hence his name). He was a stray we took in, and we noticed he had a slight limp. After a visit to the vet, and some x-rays were taken, it was clear his left hip had been injured when he was younger (vet approximated his age to be 10 at the time). I cared for him while he had his cone, after his leg was amputated (poor guy!), ensuring he received the proper medications on time. My second cat was an all-black stray (not sure his breed), but I named him Kuro. I had him for a year and some change and gave him to my friend after moving to a pet-free community. I missed having a cat, so I searched and found Naruto, who was only 10 days old, and I adopted him on the spot! I've taught him all his little quirks, including back-talking lol! I trained him to come at the sound of a particular whistle, to jump up on something after I tap, or scrape it in a certain pattern, and taught him to play fetch! I am able to administer medications Intravenous, or Sub-q, as well as advise on best care practices!

About: I grew up in a house full of animals (dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, fish) and loved it. Less than a year after moving out to attend college I got my own puppy (Havanese). 12 years later I found myself getting a second dog after my parents and a sibling adopted her other 2 sisters (English Cream Golden Retriever puppies). We dogsit for them, and of course they come to family get-togethers, so we're used to having extra dogs in our house! In 2025 we said goodbye to our first dog, and a few months later welcomed home our foster-to-adopt puppy (chihuahua-beagle mix). The kids love playing and cuddling with dogs and understand when they need space. My full-time job offers flexibility in my schedule allowing me to work from home 3x/week. I work early hours so that I can have more time available in the afternoons & evenings to spend with family/pets. “We are so happy we found Laurie to take care of our 12 year old Aussie. After the initial meet and greet she was able to take him in for a few nights while we were on travel at the last minute. Laurie is super friendly and you can tell she really cares for the pets she’s watching. All of the other dogs that she watches were all really friendly as well and we are really grateful that’s he got a lot of playtime in her fenced in back yard. Laurie was also super communicative and sent multiple updates and pictures everyday which we really appreciated. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”
“Jorje and his family are wonderful! My dog, Brody is an active dog and requires a lot of exercise; Jorge's yard is very large with a high, secure fence. It is the perfect place for Brody to safely run and play fetch. Jorje kept me updated with daily photos and videos which eased my mind and reassured me that Brody was well cared for. My dog requires a lot of attention and TLC from his people; Jorje sent me pictures of Brody playing with his children and snuggling with them on a daily basis. These folks are definitely my "go to" dog sitters. Out of a five-star rating -- they deserve six stars!”
“Wow! I cannot express how amazing Lorena and her family are. This was our first time leaving our two Shih Tzus overnight and we received regular text messages with pictures and updates, always very personable. Prior to their stay, we visited Lorena upon her request, to make sure the stay would be a good fit. This gave me peace of mind, knowing she has a screening process. I learned about Lorena from two of my neighbors who shared really positive feedback, so I went into this first stay confident. “Since our first use of Rover, this has been the best visit/offering of service thus far! Sonja &Phil maintained communication and provided photos throughout her entire stay, provided proper feeding (I always give a little extra and sitters would never have any to return), and she came back well and in good health (not the case on 2 occasions with another sitter). I appreciated that Roxy was still able to get outdoors in a enclosed area and I'm sure she did as well because she loves being outdoors. Highly recommend and I'll definitely be looking to use their services again!”
“Ben & Ariel were absolutely wonderful with Mishka! We’ve used several sitters this year, and this was the first time she came home so clearly happy, relaxed, and genuinely well loved. “Christie was thoughtful and ensured the safety of all of the pets that were in her care the week we boarded our dog. She did meets and greets with the pets and owners so everyone was comfortable. When we dropped our dog off she was excited to be there and couldn't wait to go in. Our dog enjoyed her time at Christie's. Christie provided videos of the dogs playing.”
