“I was scrambling to find dog boarding when my friend canceled on me at the last minute. I had no backup plan and actually thought I’d have to send my dog to a kennel for the week. Luckily, as I was looking up kennels, I found information on Rover. So this was my very first time using Rover and I was extremely nervous. Turns out, there was absolutely no reason for me to be. Rover is very easy to use and I was able to find Julie & Kenneth N’s information. After seeing/reading the positive reviews I made immediate plans to meet them and have them meet my Husky, Max. When Julie & Ken arrived, they were very friendly, easy to talk to and most importantly, they love dogs. I was able to book Max to stay with Julie & Ken for the entire week that we were on a family vacation. As promised, I got daily emails (with pictures) of how Max was doing and Julie even let me know how helpful Max was in the kitchen — by being watchful to ensure Julie didn’t drop anything while preparing lunch. I loved all of the text communications I received — Max was smiling in some of the pics. That put me at ease too. If you want top notch boarding for your dog, then I highly recommend this dog-loving duo. Your dog will be well taken care of and will be happy with Julie & Ken. In the future, whenever we need dog boarding, Julie & Ken will be my very first choice. I am sincerely grateful to them for their excellent care of Max.”

About: I’m currently active duty Air Force, newly stationed in Hampton, VA. Since I can’t have pets in the dorms, caring for yours is the next best thing and honestly, it makes my day every time I get to spend time with animals. Before moving here, I volunteered for several years at nonprofit rescues that specialize in disabled and special-needs animals. My responsibilities included feeding, bathing, cleaning kennels and litter boxes, refreshing bedding, and making sure each animal got individual attention and affection. I also assisted with basic grooming, gentle handling for nervous pets, and light training reinforcement during play or walks. Since moving to Virginia, I’ve been volunteering at The Cat Corner in Hampton, where I work exclusively with cats. I help with feeding, litter changes, sanitizing enclosures, and socializing cats to prepare them for adoption. It’s helped me become especially good at reading feline body language and handling shy or anxious cats. I also have experience with house sitting, dog sitting, cat sitting, and snake sitting, so I’m very comfortable adapting to each pet’s unique personality and routine. Whether that means sticking to a feeding schedule, going for long walks, keeping up with playtime, or sending regular photo updates. About: I can feed meals of pet food ,walk on leash in your area, cleanup after pets on walks with your baggie and yard, love to feed treats from your home, love play time and brushing pets, I believe they love to be talk to ( at least my pets do) . I have only 1 corgi Louie in my my home .I have had up to 4 corgi's in my home in the past. I have pet sit for many friends when out of town. Everyone in my family has a dog or cat so I have plenty of experience. However I can brush your dog or wipe their paws off if needed but I do not bath or trim nails in service. I am use to training my dogs to walk if helpful to you. However i am not a certified dog trainer

About: I have 7 years of experience being a veterinary technician for veterinary clinics and emergency hospitals. I, also, work remote so I am able to take as many happy doggos during the day. My dog (2-year-old Belgian Malinois) gets along with small to large dogs as he has been trained to be around all size dogs. I have a large fenced in back yard and a large house for them to run around in. I do have a cat, but he keeps to himself and has his own room to be in. About: I've been dog sitting/walking for over 15 years to many different size dogs of many different ages. I worked at pet stores and as a vet tech for many years. I have volunteered at Zoos and Animal Rehabilitation centers. I love and can take care of many different animals! I currently have 2 dogs, a cat, a snake, a tarantula, and fish tanks; but I’ve had & cared for many other kinds of animals before (lizards, birds, tortoises, etc). About: Growing up, I’ve always had a strong love for animals. Free of charge, I would cat sit for my neighbors while they went on vacation, walk my friends dogs in my spare time, and additionally scroll for hours on end through sites that had dogs for adoption. When I turned 13 years old my parents finally gave in. I’ve now had my dog (Riley) for almost 8 years. We’ve gone through nearly 8 birthdays, 7 gotcha days, countless training sessions, and an endless amount of love. She fills my heart all while simultaneously filling my camera roll. To me, she’s worth the extra phone storage payment😅 I’m currently 3rd-year college student studying biology on the premedical track. Before and after my classes begin, I’ll have plenty of free time to care for your pup. Each walk, I will be equipped with various supplies ranging from poo bags and paw wipes to fetching toys and water bowls. For home visits, I’ll ensure that your dog receives ample love and attention. About: I have been caring for animals for as long as I can remember, anything from dogs, cats, mice, birds, ferrets, etc. I’m currently unemployed freeing me to watch, walk, play and care for your animals at anytime, any day! I myself have 3 cats, 2 conures, 3 ferrets, 2 snakes and 2 lizards! Which leaves me with little to no room to board your critters :( But I am always available to animal sit at yours!
