She's not just knowledgeable and reassuring, she's sweet and kind and will love your fur babies for you. I live in Roanoke, whereas she's in Moneta. But this was such a blessing!! I wanted somewhere Harriet could run and play and feel free and happy. Jody delivers this in a big way- she has several yards of varying sizes with over animals to play with. I kept telling my girl she was going to summer camp, and it turned out to be so true. I don't think she even missed me that much! Please don't let the distance deter you. Jody even offers pickup and drop off services. Harriet gets so anxious going to a boarder's house, but as soon as Jody pulled up, Harriet started wagging her tail and jumped right in her car before I could say goodbye. She's with the dogs all the time- you won't be leaving your pup with someone who leaves them alone. Harriet is very social, and I can tell from just the pictures and videos that her physical, mental, and emotional needs are being met in every way. Please seriously consider Jody- she's phenomenal. I don't really want to tell you this because I want to keep her all to myself, but that would be a gross injustice. She's the best. I went to the shelter and was determined to get over my generational fear of cats. About: I grew up taking care of my family dog and cats, and have cared for my own dogs and cats for the past 7 years. I have owned chickens since the beginning of 2022. Pets are part of the family, and if they stay with me, they will be treated as such! I’m currently working from home with a flexible schedule that allows me to take breaks throughout the day, which I use to take my dogs outside. I am also able to spend all day with my animals and any animals I would board. After getting off work, I love taking walks outside with my dogs. I have a fenced in park 2 minutes down the road from my house where I take my dogs to run unleashed. During the “meet and greet” Penny had us come in and take him straight to the fenced back yard where he could sniff around and go to the bathroom. Knowing about his anxiety, once we went back inside, Penny never tried to pet him, she just allowed him to get used to her being in the room. She was a very calming presence for him. Evan likewise was patient with him and allowed him the time it took to settle and get comfortable. About: I have had cats dogs and livestock my whole life . I am now retired with 1 covid foster fail named Luna. We started fostering after all our animals passed of old age and long story short adopted her. Best dog EVER! We love to spoil dogs with lots of play, walks on the Riverwalk and always try to pick pet friendly places to visit including restaurants. We also have a pool if yours like water! Let me give your pup a doggy vacay while you enjoy yours. I am currently enjoying retirement and very flexible with my schedule. The yard is not fenced but we can go for lots of leashed walks in the woods or around the pond. I work from home and am available 24/7. I’ve had dogs my whole life and am experienced training herding dogs, understand dog behavior, and love all dogs like they’re my own. About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life! To me, dogs are family, they deserve to be treated like like prince or princess they are. I’ll love your pup like my own, I’ll play with them, and I’ll make sure they’re in the best care possible! I’ve been mainly around small breeds (chihuahuas, Pomeranians, dachshund, and certain mixed breeds) but I will love any dog of any breed or size! I’ve always loved taking care of animals and giving them a disgustingly amount of love (haha). About: @ateamdogcare I have been using rover for 6 years now. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats who have been with the dogs since they were 3 weeks old. We live on 2 acres with a great fenced in yard. We love hosting pets and will treat them like our own. Im always home so let’s can stay on their normal schedules and have someone around while you’re gone. Feel free to message me with any questions! I also have experience with medications, including injectable ones. When your pup comes to stay with us we ask that you bring; their food, treats, favorite toys/bones, bed or blanket, crate (if you use one), bowls, and a leash. Or anything that might make your dogs stay easier! :)

However, i’m happy to have an introduction to make sure everyone is comfortable. We tend to take a lot of walks and play ball in the yard throughout the day. During the summer we swim in the pop up pool we have for the boys and get the zooms out!

She's not just knowledgeable and reassuring, she's sweet and kind and will love your fur babies for you. I live in Roanoke, whereas she's in Moneta. But this was such a blessing!! I wanted somewhere Harriet could run and play and feel free and happy. Jody delivers this in a big way- she has several yards of varying sizes with over animals to play with. I kept telling my girl she was going to summer camp, and it turned out to be so true. I don't think she even missed me that much! Please don't let the distance deter you. Jody even offers pickup and drop off services. Harriet gets so anxious going to a boarder's house, but as soon as Jody pulled up, Harriet started wagging her tail and jumped right in her car before I could say goodbye. She's with the dogs all the time- you won't be leaving your pup with someone who leaves them alone. Harriet is very social, and I can tell from just the pictures and videos that her physical, mental, and emotional needs are being met in every way. Please seriously consider Jody- she's phenomenal. I don't really want to tell you this because I want to keep her all to myself, but that would be a gross injustice. She's the best. I won't even consider anyone else again- I'll just move my vacation plans around.”

We also had our return flight canceled because of the Microsoft crash (July 2024) and we needed to get home, so we rented a car to drive home instead.
