At first I was nervous because the pictures had not been updated and honestly the appearance is slightly jarring at first. However if you can look past that, Natalie is a passionate dog owner, her own dogs are healthy, happy and well trained. My pittbull has tons of allergies and requires supplements, oral drops, baths, and topical foam. Natalie was willing to take that on, and provide a routine for my dog so that she could play, socialize, and be well cared for. Natalie gives daily pictures so you can visualize your dog is safe and sound! Don’t judge a book by its cover!! I am so glad my dog found her rhythm and enjoyed her time with Natalie. We discovered Hotel Roanoke does not allow dogs, so we last minute had to find a pet sitter in the area. About: I grew up taking care of my family dog and cats, and have cared for my own dogs and cats for the past 7 years. I have owned chickens since the beginning of 2022. Pets are part of the family, and if they stay with me, they will be treated as such! I’m currently working from home with a flexible schedule that allows me to take breaks throughout the day, which I use to take my dogs outside. I am also able to spend all day with my animals and any animals I would board. After getting off work, I love taking walks outside with my dogs. I have a fenced in park 2 minutes down the road from my house where I take my dogs to run unleashed. I have a upstairs and a downstairs that would allow for me to spend one-on-one time with a boarded pet and keep them separated from my own animals.

About: I’ve never had a cat until I was grown, my mom and grandma have always been scared of them and more of dog people. I went to the shelter and was determined to get over my generational fear of cats. Learning to care for a cat while being timid made me also learn how specific cats are some like to be brushed and some you can’t even look at the wrong way. Any cat I meet I always try to feel them out and see what they enjoy most !

We started fostering after all our animals passed of old age and long story short adopted her. Best dog EVER! We love to spoil dogs with lots of play, walks on the Riverwalk and always try to pick pet friendly places to visit including restaurants. We also have a pool if yours like water! During the “meet and greet” Penny had us come in and take him straight to the fenced back yard where he could sniff around and go to the bathroom. Knowing about his anxiety, once we went back inside, Penny never tried to pet him, she just allowed him to get used to her being in the room. She was a very calming presence for him. Evan likewise was patient with him and allowed him the time it took to settle and get comfortable. Pets are allowed in our home as long as they get along well with other pets and children. I do have an in-ground fence and collars that I can use to teach your pet to stay in our yard. I also have two nice size kennels that give dogs plenty of room to wander inside and outside the kennel walls.

About: My home is where I tell people "they have me trained well". I love all animals and believe they deserve the best of treatment as they give to us so unconditionally. Any animal in our household is taken care of as they are our children. Our older dog was raised to be kind to smaller animals and seems to think anything smaller than him is his to take care of. We taught this by stroking gently and telling him to "be nice" this is just a "baby". Animals are never hit or disciplined by any harsh means, we reinforce good behavior. Our dogs get brushed every night around 7:00 and remind us if we miss the time and we treat them to a small snack every evening around 8:30 which they know also.

At first I was nervous because the pictures had not been updated and honestly the appearance is slightly jarring at first. However if you can look past that, Natalie is a passionate dog owner, her own dogs are healthy, happy and well trained. My pittbull has tons of allergies and requires supplements, oral drops, baths, and topical foam. Natalie was willing to take that on, and provide a routine for my dog so that she could play, socialize, and be well cared for. Natalie gives daily pictures so you can visualize your dog is safe and sound! Don’t judge a book by its cover!! I am so glad my dog found her rhythm and enjoyed her time with Natalie. Highly recommend her! My dog came back looking shinny and happy! Will book her again!!”
