About: I've watched dogs and cats with all different personalities and needs (i.e. blind, diabetic, anxious, etc.). I believe in understanding a pet's needs from the perspective of the pet and responding with compassion. I work full time, but can usually work from home if needed. I will talk with you before we commit to pet sitting to ensure my schedule works for your needs (if that's getting off early, working from home every day during the time of the sitting, going home over lunch for a walk, etc). I have no fur babies (or kids) of my own, so your babies will get my undivided attention and I will shower them with all the love I wish I could give to my own fur baby if I had one. (Know I recognize that love looks different for different critters - for some it may mean keeping a respectful distance!)

About: My love for animals began on my grandpas farm in NJ. From as young as I can remember we always had pets, from dogs to farm animals to mice you name it we had it. As I grew and started my own family we have always had dogs and cats. I now work full time as a veterinary technician and I am also a full time dog trainer. I have been training dogs for over 20 years. I am a certified K9 handler and also certified in K9 CPR. I would go before I go into work in the morning and let your pup out, feed and do some enrichment. Then go during my lunchtime and twice in the evening. If I have client dogs at my home I generally do not allow my dogs to have contact with clients dogs. My dogs are crated where they feel comfortable

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life! To me, dogs are family, they deserve to be treated like like prince or princess they are. I’ll love your pup like my own, I’ll play with them, and I’ll make sure they’re in the best care possible! I’ve been mainly around small breeds (chihuahuas, Pomeranians, dachshund, and certain mixed breeds) but I will love any dog of any breed or size! “Penny and Evan were great with our little “high anxiety” fur baby. During the “meet and greet” Penny had us come in and take him straight to the fenced back yard where he could sniff around and go to the bathroom. Knowing about his anxiety, once we went back inside, Penny never tried to pet him, she just allowed him to get used to her being in the room. She was a very calming presence for him. Evan likewise was patient with him and allowed him the time it took to settle and get comfortable. “Our previous sitter told me they are moving, which prompted me to search for a new sitter. I decided to try Rebecca, and am I glad I did! I was happy with our first sitter, but LuLu spent her time there just sniffing their yard and snuggling up on the couch with the sitter. She barely ate and wouldn't play with their dog. It was such a delight to see how happy LuLu was at Rebecca's place. She ran around the yard like I haven't seen her do since she was a puppy. When Rebecca thought LuLu needed a rest and brought her inside, LuLu whined to go back out, so out she went for more running around! Finally, she took a nap on the couch, then got up and ate all of her dinner. Then she settled down chewing on her toy until we came back for her. She was happy to see us, but gave Rebecca a tail wag when they said goodbye. I'm so glad LuLu found a place where she can thrive when we're gone. Now I won't hesitate to book a vacation! Rebecca was very attentive to the history I gave her about LuLu and my instructions about her routine and fears. We did a Meet & Greet on short notice, and Rebecca showed LuLu and me her back yard and inside her house. She assured me that she would never give LuLu an opportunity to run away. The way Rebecca gave me updates all day long assured me that LuLu was being well cared for and was having a great time. Rebecca is definitely Lulu's new sitter. I couldn't be happier with her care.”

During the summer we swim in the pop up pool we have for the boys and get the zooms out!

Any animal in our household is taken care of as they are our children. Our older dog was raised to be kind to smaller animals and seems to think anything smaller than him is his to take care of. We taught this by stroking gently and telling him to "be nice" this is just a "baby". Animals are never hit or disciplined by any harsh means, we reinforce good behavior. Our dogs get brushed every night around 7:00 and remind us if we miss the time and we treat them to a small snack every evening around 8:30 which they know also.

About: Hi! I have experience caring for senior dogs and cats as well as kittens. I have helped change diapers, clean up messes, give relaxing baths, and provide as much exercise as possible for any pets I have watched over the years. As a professional housekeeper, no incontinence issue is too much for me! As long as your fur baby is happy and safe. I am currently on leave without pay from my full time job (until an undetermined time) so I have open availability to pet sit this summer for anyone who plans on taking a little vacation! After going to boot camp I realized how much animals actually give you peace of mind on a daily basis and I have taken care of neighbors animals and family ever since. About: I take care of pets for family when they need it and have experience caring for older pets, puppies, and those with special care instructions. My schedule is pretty flexible so I can take time to walk dogs during the day. I’m most available during the weekend and after 5 pm for over night boarding, but can potentially accommodate other schedules. I have no pets, so my home is perfect for less friendly pets. Crates will need to provided if they are needed for your pet, but I’m willing to keep up with their routine.
