“Very highly recommended! Chantal and her husband were great caretakers for our two dogs for a week’s time — even more than we could have expected. They have a beautiful, spacious, safe place — both indoors and for when they had to go outside. My husband and I felt 100% comfortable leaving them there while we were away. From the beginning during our meet-and-greet through pick-up at the end of our trip, we saw just how kind and calm they were, treating our dogs just like their own dog and providing lots of interaction and play. Also, Chantal was extremely accommodating of our 7 month old puppy’s “puppy behavior” and attentive to the need to go outside more frequently. She provided updates every day (and was very responsive to other questions) and we could see just how relaxed our pups were, as if they were staying with family. About: I’ve taken care of a verity of pets and owned anything from fish, Reptiles, Rodents, Cats, and Dogs. I can also do additional tasks such as cleaning and plant care. I am versatile and can stay at the house or commute. I am also experienced at giving medications to animals as well. About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I helped my childhood dog with her liter and one of her puppies was my best friend until he crossed the rainbow bridge a year ago. I currently have a sweet loving 9 year old black lab and a fun 3 year old labradoodle. I’m a stay at home mom who homeschools as well and play outside a lot with my children and my dogs. Anything after 6 pm I won’t be able to do considering I will be doing bedtime. I have a fully fenced in lot that has 2 dog houses and grass that is also shaded. From housetraining puppies to caring for aging senior dogs, I have experience with a range of personalities/quirks and am very comfortable with large or hyperactive dogs and rescues. My older Beagle, who I cared for for more than 13 years, had a seizure disorder and in the final months of her life, we administered IV sub-Q fluids to her every 2-3 days, so I have experience with caring for pups with medical needs and I can administer medication. I also have 5 years of experience volunteering in a high-volume animal shelter, working predominantly with large dogs, so I understand how animals might behave when they are in a stressful environment and interacting with an unfamiliar person. When boarding pets in my home, I provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where each animal feels at ease. I give plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles, and follow any specific routines or instructions from their owners. I also make sure they get proper meals, medication if needed, and regular bathroom breaks. I live in a very rural, quiet part of Bedford in the middle of the woods, so along with a large yard, we have many trails, with plenty of space to run or go on leashed walks! I love sending updates with photos or videos so you can see your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.
