She also watered our plants and brought in mail while we were gone. She seems to know a lot about dogs and is a wealth of info on chickens, as well. Some of my chickens were not doing so well and thanks to her advice, they are looking healthier. I'd highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by cats for as long as I can remember! Growing up as an only child, our pets were my built-in best friends, and caring for them was my responsibility from a young age. I’ve continued to have cats throughout my adult life, and I currently have cats of my own who are very loved (and very spoiled!) members of our family. Over the years, friends and neighbors have trusted me to drop in and stay with their cats while they’re away. I know cats have their own personalities, routines, and comfort levels. My child has been raised around animals and taught from the beginning to be gentle and respectful of their space. My schedule allows me plenty of freedom to make pet care a natural, and very welcome, part of my day! In our house, pet care is part of our everyday routine! I make sure fresh water is always available both upstairs and downstairs and changed daily, my cats’ food is checked and replenished each day, and my dog eats on a consistent twice-daily schedule. When I’m home, my dog gets a morning or afternoon walk, plenty of trips outside to our fenced backyard throughout the day, and usually a daycare day or two each week for some extra exercise and socialization. When I leave the house, I’m also very mindful of his safety, he stays comfortably downstairs with access to his bed and water, potential chewing hazards are put away, and toys that require supervision are never left out. I’d bring that same level of attention to caring for your pets! I know every animal and household has its own routine, so I’m happy to follow your feeding schedule, potty or litter box routine, walking preferences, playtime rules, and any other instructions that help your pet feel comfortable. Right now I care for dogs, chickens, rabbits, and a cat, and I also have experience pet sitting for families from when I was in high school. My love for animals really shows, and I’m totally comfortable with both big dogs and smaller ones—I’m happy to care for every breed. I’m willing to have animals stay at my home, but they absolutely need to be comfortable around other animals. I can also drive to your place and stay at your home if that’s what you prefer. I work from home, so I’m available as often as you need me, and if you need me to stay overnight to watch your furry friend, I can definitely arrange that. With all that said, I’m excited to help in any way I can—because I genuinely love what I do! I’m currently working from home as a Sales Executive at a HR company. I take my pups out every 2 hours for potty breaks and to throw the ball for my very active GSD dog. I get off around 5:30PM M-F. So if you need me to stay at your home to watch your pets while I work throughout the day- that’s no problem! Or I can most definitely take breaks throughout the day to come take your animal out and/or just give some snuggles! I am free on the weekends and can make really anything work. Just give me a time and place and I’ll be there! I have a huge back yard and plenty of space for your dog to run around! It is not fenced, so must have good recall or I can just walk them on a leash. If your dog is coming over to my house they must be good with other animals. I have a male Belgian tervuren (fixed) who’s pretty shy at first, but warms up quickly and would love a play buddy! And then I have a male Dachshund (fixed) who sleeps all day. I do crate my dogs while I’m away, and they can be crated just to give your pet some space to decompress. My cat is in a separate room so she will be away as well.

Sleeping cuddling and lots of attention is what they get while here. Most dogs don't want to leave when they come. I have several repeat dogs and they get out of the car and run to the house. Where they have an abundance of toys bones and beds to relax on. I believe the dog should be on your schedule so I do my best with that. Huge yard provides safe exercise time.
