“Christine and Nick are amazing! We are repeat customers and never worry about our pup when she is in their care. To say she gets spoiled is an understatement. Thank you for taking such good care of our fur baby.”

“Kayce and her husband were great! She sent photo updates the entire time he was there and was super responsive as I checked in. Norman was very well taken care of. Thanks again guys!”

“Leidy agreed to watch our German shepherd with a short notice and did an incredible job! Send frequent updates and pictures which we love! Very grateful he was in such good hands while we had to leave town!”

“Ellysia is the best! My pups had the greatest time with her and her family. Updated daily with pictures and activities. We will definitely be using her again and recommend her hands down.”

“The sweetest people and very accommodating ! I was very comfortable leaving Ben. They have plenty of yard for Ben to play with Buddy and Lucy. He came home so tired I know he had a great time! I would definitely recommend and will be a return customer!”

“I left my 11 year old dog Zee for 4 days and went out of town. I received updates and pictures 3-4 times a day. Zee did not eat much the first day from her bowl so was "hand fed" by Radka to ensure she ate some....OMG! We discussed by text and made a food substitution that worked out..Radka went out and purchased the food with her own funds! She took care of my Zee like she was hers...She walked her, played with her, indulged her, and spoiled her (to be honest)..I felt so happy and contented with the care that I never worried like usual. My family joked that Zee would not want to return home.. Radka's adorable kids even helped out with Zee. What more could I ask for?..this was THE BEST experience i ever had with doggie care in 10 years!! Many thanks to this awesome family..I hope they don't get too popular and unable to take Zee next time I travel..”

“Ari provided wonderful care at her home for our two good sized dogs aged 12 months and 4 1/2 years. They are back home happy and well-adjusted. Thank you Ari for all the love you and your family gave our dogs!”

“Dylan and Alex are amazing!! My dog seems to have had a great time during her stay. I received daily updates and pictures. We will be booking with them again in the future. :) Thanks guys!”

“Lucky was great for watching our dog Finnley. They were very flexible with dropoff and pickup times, and Finnley was so excited when we got there. The daily check ins included how he slept and ate the previous day, and how he was doing overall. Any questions we had were answered quickly. Finnley was well looked after while we were away, and we definitely plan on booking with Lucky again in the future!”

“Kendra was great! This was Yasha’s second time staying with her in less than a month. Goes to show how reliable she is and how comfortable she makes you feel, leaving your fur baby with her. She truly cares. I appreciate all the photo’s and updates as well. It’s good to know my baby is having a good time while I am vacationing. No more guilt! lol”

“Christina and her family were amazing with our skittish girl. She communicated every day with status updates and I felt her compassion in every message. She put our minds at ease which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the vacation. Will book her again for future boarding stays.”

“Amy and her family were great! Cleo is an old dog, I usually take her with me but this time we were traveling for a funeral. It was our first time using Rover or leaving her with others, I was nervous. Our drop off time was early in the day but they were accommodating. Amy kept me posted on how Cleo was doing and sent pics every day which was unexpected but very much appreciated. Cleo clearly got lots of love from the whole family. I highly recommend Amy and Grant P. (and family.)”

“I was extremely satisfied with the care Bentley received while with Amanda and her family. Her fur babies were very welcoming to Bentley and I felt he was happy with his new friends. To my surprise, they went on a “field trip” where they were allowed to run off leash and smell and play in a very large confined space . I worried he would not want to leave with me and leave his friends behind. I highly recommend Amanda and will definitely use her in the future!!”

“My dog came back his self and Abby let me know that he does well with cats, which is great. I came to pick him up straight from the airport and I was running half an hour late to pick him up but Abby was accommodating.”
“Amanda and Adam sent me pictures of our dog every day and an update on how she was doing. She is a not an easy going dog because she is nervous and has separation anxiety, but they were able to handle her and she liked them, their dogs and their kids. We will be using them again next time we travel!”

“Very professional and practical. The communication was punctual and timely. I was very pleased to see our dog having such a lovely time during my time away. Highly recommend Anita for your Rover needs.”

“Caitlyn and Sam were so great with my dog and truly treated him like family! My dog can be a handful so having a sitter who enjoys him as much as I do is very important. I will definitely use them again!”

“Hana is amazing! She’s so flexible and understanding when it comes to schedules and demands of each animal in the home. She truly cares about our animals (she will leave our tv on for our dog so she isn’t lonely) and does enrichment treats without us even asking her to. I trust her with our babies 100%”

“Peyton was Great!! She made time to stop by in advance tomake sure me and Bentley were comfortable with her. It nice to walk her through the steps needed. She was very accommodating and super sweet. Very good communication and no issues. Bentley loved her and we'll definitely use Peyton again in the future.”

About: I currently own a 2YO cat whom Ive learned so much from. Knowing their needs and wants has become number one priority to me so they can live the best life they well deserve. I am experienced with showing love, care and compassion.

About: I have been around cats for over 28 years and have experience caring for cats of all ages, personalities, and temperaments. Growing up and living with cats throughout my life has taught me how to understand feline behavior, provide a calm and safe environment, and recognize their individual needs. I am comfortable with feeding schedules, administering basic care, cleaning litter boxes, playtime, and giving cats the patience and attention they need to feel comfortable while their owners are away. My lifelong experience has made me dependable, attentive, and passionate about providing loving care for every cat I look after.
“Great sitter, gave me updates whenever I asked for them and followed everything I asked her to do for my cat. Made sure my cat was safe with her children and other pets and played with him, also I didn’t leave enough food so she gave my cat some of her cats food, overall great experience!”

About: I have been taking care of my own dogs since I was young and love to be around all animals! I used to nanny for a family with 5 kids and they had a wonderful dog that I always helped to care for! Feeding and taking him to the groomers and vet appointments…all things that I was lucky to get to help with! I also used to care for 2 cats (both needing to take medication) and a bull dog on a daily basis! I have a Jack Russell (that just passed away) myself that I had for about 10+ years and no kids do she was my only fur baby! I have recently in the past year gotten a brand new puppy named Sugar! She is a beagle/terrier/lab mix and 25 pounds of Adorableness! She is so sweet And absolutely my little girl, as she follows me everywhere and tries to be wherever I am, and always under foot!!! She’s a little skittish and still all puppy at eight months! So I am no stranger to puppy needs at all! I also have Bella, who is a pit/beagle mix and she is a little over a year and a half old! She is 60 pounds of crazy but happy and smart and always at my husband side! What a love bug! But remember, with pets, there is no personal space! Lol I love pets of all kinds and will care for them as if they were my own! Snuggles are free!!! I am currently a part-time private nanny, to a bunch of different families who may need care for their little ones day a week, and my schedule is always changing from week to week! This is a little niche that I found that nobody was able to fill, and I wanted to dedicate my career to helping those families who only need four hours a day one day a week and that doesn’t necessarily need to be the same day. As my schedules always changing, my availability will always be changing so I will try to keep that up-to-date as I hope more of you reach out! I’m really looking forward to all the snuggles! I am always very mindful of the time for feedings and walks…any medication will be given correctly and timely…I will make sure your home is locked up after I leave from a walk and/or feeding! Please know that I will do my best to. Gain the trust of the animal! Cats too!
“We are so happy to have found Haily! She provided marvelous care of our 3 cats and special needs dog, going over and above what we requested. We received photos, videos and updates daily. She is a true professional and we will definitely be using Haily again!”

About: I have built my life around loving and caring for animals. I have been with my local SPCA for 11 years and have been president for 8 years. My family has rescued and loved many animals throughout our lives and I would like nothing more than to extend that love to your pets. I am available at all times as I have retired and most of my SPCA volunteer work is done from my home. If for whatever reason I am not going to be there I will make sure you will be informed prior to my absence and my husband is available in the rare instance I am not. I have a dog boarding facility that can house up to 17 dogs of all sizes. There is a large outdoor play area and nice cozy accommodations including indoor and outdoor runs. Dogs have access to one on one play (including private walks) as well as group play depending on your preference and dog temperament.
“Eliane and her husband were more than accommodating. I have a 12 year old dog who struggles with anxiety so finding a family to take care of my baby was a bit stressful. Upon messaging Elaine about her availability she immediately proposed a meet and greet. I was nervous Sepia wouldn’t get along with her own two dogs but it went wonderfully! Elaine and her husband were flexible with my tentative schedule and offered to host sepia for the night when I found out I needed to leave extremely early the next morning. With my crazy work schedule, I will 100% go straight to Elaine and Steven. Sepia clearly made herself at home ? and was spoiled with treats and endless love.”
“Very genuine person, got down on brownie's level to engage with her, brownie was happy and well taken care off. Abby worked with me and my schedule, I am grateful that brownie has a home away from home”

“Christine and Nick are absolutely incredible with our German Shepherd, Aurora. This was her first time staying away from home and socializing with other dogs, and they made her feel completely safe, loved, and part of the family. They followed her routine, handled her quirks with confidence and compassion, and kept us updated the entire time. Aurora always comes home exhausted, happy, and clearly well cared for. We’re so grateful to have found such trustworthy and experienced sitters— Highly recommend!”

“Jeanette was great! She was able to accommodate Romeo in a very short time frame, and had to wake up early for the drop off. She kept me updated and Romeo loved her! Overall great experience.”

“Deven and Tyreek took amazing care of Birdie! I could tell Birdie had a truly amazing time being boarded and always looked forward to returning to such a loving home! Will definitely book their services again if in the area.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my entire life. I am looking forward to opportunities to care for your dog(s) or cat(s) while you are away and love them like they were my own. I have a fenced in yard and live in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of walking trails. I have three children, ages 10, 12, and 14 that grew up with dogs and learned how to be loving and respectful to animals. I’m a high school teacher so I’m able to be home during the summer and school holidays. My routine includes a morning, afternoon and an evening walk after dinner. The fenced backyard provides opportunities for exercise outside of walks. I follow your pets normal feeding schedule and will only provide the food and treats that you provide to avoid any allergy or food intolerance concerns. On school days, my husband is typically working from home so there is usually someone home without long periods of being left home alone. Pets are cared for as part of the family and receive lots of love and attention.
“Amanda is hands down a five-star sitter! She watched my dog all day and did an incredible job managing her high energy; she really went above and beyond to get all those "zoomies" out, and I picked up a very happy, tired pup. Her communication was also top-notch throughout the day, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. If you’re looking for someone reliable who truly knows how to engage with dogs, I highly recommend booking with Amanda!”

“It was my first time using the Rover app and first time for my puppy in a sitter. Kayce and her family was amazing!!! They take good care of Max while me and my kid's are away. Max had a blast during his stay, able to socialized with other dogs and kid's. I would definitely use Kayce again in the future. I would highly recommend her.”

I also have experience with pet sitting more than one dog. I currently volunteer remotely for two hours once a week, so I have plenty of free time to care for your fur baby. I'm available Monday through Friday, but I'm happy to be flexible if you need weekend boarding or doggy day care for your fur baby. I have a fenced yard and a friendly small dog who would love to keep your fur baby company. If you prefer, I can also crate your dog with ease.

We love walks, so a well behaved dog is always welcome on our walks with us. The children in my life are also dog lovers and will be happy to snuggle, play and dote on your fur baby, too. I have a fenced in yard, a pet friendly home and I have a large crate, if needed. For anxious dogs, I have the space to keep your fur baby apart from other animals in my home.
About: I have loved animals my entire life and have had more than one family pet from the day I was born. I worked in veterinary care for a good bit of time, and I have been trusted by many families to care for their animals while they were away on trips. I am comfortable giving medicine, working on obedience, and giving more snuggles than your pup will know what to do with. My husband works from home 3-4 days a week, so your dog would have many opportunities to go outside and to be loved on. I am available Monday through Friday for lunch time check-ins and potty breaks, and I'm available for walks after 5pm Monday through Friday. We could also accommodate over-night boarding any day of the week, as long as we do not have a previously scheduled weekend away. While I do not have a fenced in yard, our family loves to be outside and take walks as much as possible through out the day. We also have our energetic 5 year old dog, Maverick, to keep your dog company through out the day and engage in play. We have ample space in our home for a crate. Our daughter also loves to throw the ball and makes sure her puppy feels loved all the time.
About: What sets me apart is my calm, low-stress home where I host max 2 compatible dogs at once. Perfect for anxious, selective, or reactive pups who need peace over chaos. I also offer solo-stay pricing for dogs who need to block my second spot. My experience shines with senior dogs (gentle mobility support, meds) and high-energy mediums (structured play without overwhelming them). I work from home so I'm very flexible. I'm available during the day for walks/drop-ins/daycare, evenings/weekends for boarding. Dogs are family here; my routine revolves around their comfort. I don’t have any pets of my own currently. I have a nice size fenced yard and I love taking pups on long walks in my neighborhood or at the local dog park if possible. You can also book my backyard on Sniffspot!
“Adam and Beau is a match made in heaven! Beau apparently played it cool during his visit; he had “checked out” Adam’s home on our initial visit and settled in pretty easily during his longer stay.”

“Darnell did a great job taking Minnie out for her afternoon walk! Thank you again for taking such great care of our kid, means the world to us that you took care of her like she was yours!”

About: I’ve owned and cared for furry (scaled and feathered!) friends my whole life. From cats and dogs, to guinea pigs and bunnies, to fish and birds. I even have experience caring for sugar gliders and a ball python. I’ve worked as a pet uber (with a company called Leash) and volunteered at shelters, socializing events, and cat rescues for several years, so I’m used to interacting with all kinds of pet personalities and ages. From shy snugglers, to loyal guardians, to spunky characters, to goofy adventurers, I love them all! You can trust I will love on your baby and treat them with as much care as I do my own fur babies. My schedule is fairly flexible right now since my medical retirement from the Army in October. I’m currently working on an online M.S. in psych and substitute teaching in my boyfriend’s town (Clarksville, VA) whenever I’m available. Since it’s a long commute and I’m typically called the morning of, I try to keep Monday and Tuesday open to sub if needed. I am more than willing to do virtual and in person meet and greets to learn pet needs and routines. I prefer to meet in person to get acquainted with your pet while they feel safe in your presence (but I’ve never met a pet I didn’t click with and love immediately.) I’ll accept any additional written/typed outlines detailing your pets care if that’s easier than leaving notes in the app. You name it and I’ll do it; whatever is best for you and your fur baby. Dogs under my care will enjoy long walks and dog parks trips where applicable. If you have a puppy (or dog) in training, I love to partner in their learning using whatever commands you prefer. Kitties under my care will get lots of playtime with wands and lasers, as well as tons of snuggles.

About: Growing up my family always had at least one or more pets of various breeds so I have 20+ years of experience around animals. I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, lizards, rabbits, goats, and hedgehogs. Personally, my husband & I have 2 dogs currently, 9 & 10 years old, one having epilepsy & is dependent on medication. I have helped raise/care for/train puppies, kittens, baby rabbits, & baby goats. The only pet I'm not comfortable with is snakes, my little sister has one but I only look at it from 3ft away in its enclosure, haha. I work part time Tu/W/Th 8A - 5P, I do not mind caring for pets those days, however I will be gone all day. Otherwise, I'm available for your pets needs! My personal routine with my pets: My husband helps me care for our pets daily but his schedule is a bit different than mine, so our dogs are let out at least within 4-6 hours those days. Otherwise, we let them out every 2-4 depending on their needs (which they have been trained to lets us know if they need to go sooner). Our medical dog is on a 12 hr medication schedule. I'd prefer to care in my clients home due to one of my dogs having a reactive past, it was quite a transition when we inherited our other dog. If you have a specific routine, I'm ready to follow it to the T! I'm comfortable walking dogs on leash, hanging out/playing with them in a fenced yard, or just chilling inside. As mentioned, I have experience with medically dependent pets. I have an escape artist, so I'm always vigilant of their proximity to me and prepared to run/chase in the event something happens. I can stay at the home with the pets or I can visit throughout the day!
About: I walk an Jog everyday. I love dogs a puppies and cats! I also have 3 pet rabbits so if you have a rabbit I can take care of it as well. I also did Certified nursing my junior year of high school at a vocational school. I will follow all care instructions for the clients house and everything they tell me for the care of the pets they have so they know it’s right.

Safety, trust, and creating a positive environment are my top priorities when caring for pets. Having been around dogs my entire life, I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and attentive care. I always ensure pets are supervised, comfortable, and treated like family while maintaining a clean, secure, and stress-free environment. I believe strong communication, reliability, and genuine compassion help build trust with both pets and their owners, allowing every dog to feel safe, happy, and cared for while in my care.

I can’t wait to meet your furry friends and take care of them like they are my own! I am free to take care of your pets all summer! I am free this summer before I begin my graduate studies at Duke next fall. I will always prioritize the safety, enjoyment, and comfort of your furry friends! When caring for your pets, I will be respectful of your requests and eager to make your pets day.
About: New users use my promo code ASHLEG56539 for $20 off! No meet & greets at the moment! I hold a certification in Small animal care I & II, as well as Veterinarian science. I have held these certification since 2019. I also own two animals of my own, who I adore more than life. Therefore, I have tons of experience with animal care and am confident in my ability to love & provide for pets! I work super early in the morning so i am home in the afternoon so im able to spend the rest of the day with your love bug & snuggle all night! I live in a house that has an unfenced but nice sized front and backyard. Therefore, we will spend majority of our time outside relaxing in the sun (unless it’s too hot or cold outside of course). I enjoy taking dogs to animal parks, I don’t mind bringing them in the car for car rides with the windows down relaxing. Consider my home a vacation for your animal not just a pet sitting service!
About: Hi my names Amadi. Thanks for taking a second to check out my profile! I have a little over 15 years of experience in training dogs, helping with socialization skills, and general caretaking. Currently I work from home, a light schedule as I’m testing to obtain another specialty license. In my daily life I used to foster dogs for a rescue. Most of my fosters came from very rough beginnings and had many social and/or anxiety issues but we have been able to overcome them💙 With that being said I totally understand how some dogs are unsure of new people and I’m 100% willing to take the time needed to get to know your fur baby. I do currently have an iguana in his own enclosure and I have extensive reptile knowledge and I’m willing to assist with those as well. I currently have a light schedule that I work from home, so I am available for a lot of pet care needs. I do frequent bathroom visits play, and meal time. I am 100% about safety first. I will not accept any new dogs that will put anyone else in jeopardy. Although I have experience in housing a large number of dogs from my time fostering out in Goochland, and my time working in a doggy daycare, I do not wish to take on a large number of dogs at any one time.
Cats too!

“Christina and her family were amazing with our skittish girl. She communicated every day with status updates and I felt her compassion in every message. She put our minds at ease which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the vacation. Will book her again for future boarding stays.”

“Johnnie provided exceptional care for my pet and maintained excellent communication throughout the entire process. I truly appreciated the updates and attention given to my pet’s needs. I would definitely use Johnnie’s services again and highly recommend them to others. Thank you so much for the outstanding care!”

“Courtney and crew were wonderful. They treated my pups just like their own. My boys were loved and cared for during my short trip. I very much appreciated the periodic updates and pictures. This was my one puppy’s first stay away from home and he had a ball playing with another puppy. Both dogs were exhausted and happy when we got home. Thank you.”

“Star appeared to have a great time with Laura and family and be well taken care of. She had a nice large yard to run in and both caregivers were clear dog lovers and she immediately took to them. I would definitely use them again!”
