“Elaine and Steven took wonderful care of our hyper Goldendoodle, no easy assignment given his energy levels. He came back to us better behaved, calmer, and better socialized. Elaine and Steven also took time to update us with photos and reports of our dog’s state of being. They have a wonderful, large property, with lots of room for dogs to explore. “Matt and Lucky work opposite work schedules day/night which translates perfectly to making sure there is always someone home to care for your pet. We had to leave our 6 month old puppy behind for a recent 5day trip. Our flight was super early in the morning and they were accomodating to take him in the night before without charge. They have 2 dogs of their own and often have other dogs they watch also so if your dog likes other dogs it ends up being super fun for them while you are away. Matt and Lucky take pictures and usually send a few daily. Each time I can see my dog literally smiling, running with others, kissing Lucy, and generally having a great time. They welcome him like family which means so much! Highly recommend them to watch your pet!”

“This was our first-time using Miranda and she made us feel comfortable from the very start. We started with a pre-stay meet and greet to make sure our dogs got along, and everything went perfectly. Miranda did an awesome job with Draco from the time we dropped him off until the time we picked him up. She sent us many videos and pics and in all of them he looked super happy. It really seemed that he had acclimated and became a part of her family, and they treated him as such. He also really enjoyed playing with their son and their beautiful chocolate lab. Our home is shared with Lucy, our mellow yellow Lab and Mary Ann the energetic Beagle. We also have a rooster, and a few hens—so your pup will have plenty of company! Over the years, we’ve raised several litters of Labrador and Beagle puppies, giving us firsthand experience with both playful pups and sweet senior dogs. As retirees, we have plenty of time to dedicate to your dog, making sure they feel safe, loved, and entertained. We have a fenced in area off of the back porch where the dogs can come and go as they like and a 200 x 100 ft fenced in playground where they can run and romp to their hearts’ content. About: I have been taking care of my own dogs since I was young and love to be around all animals! I used to nanny for a family with 5 kids and they had a wonderful dog that I always helped to care for! Feeding and taking him to the groomers and vet appointments…all things that I was lucky to get to help with! I also used to care for 2 cats (both needing to take medication) and a bull dog on a daily basis! I have a Jack Russell (that just passed away) myself that I had for about 10+ years and no kids do she was my only fur baby! I have recently in the past year gotten a brand new puppy named Sugar! She is a beagle/terrier/lab mix and 25 pounds of Adorableness! She is so sweet And absolutely my little girl, as she follows me everywhere and tries to be wherever I am, and always under foot!!! She’s a little skittish and still all puppy at eight months! So I am no stranger to puppy needs at all! I also have Bella, who is a pit/beagle mix and she is a little over a year and a half old! She is 60 pounds of crazy but happy and smart and always at my husband side! What a love bug! But remember, with pets, there is no personal space! Lol I love pets of all kinds and will care for them as if they were my own! Snuggles are free!!! I am currently a part-time private nanny, to a bunch of different families who may need care for their little ones day a week, and my schedule is always changing from week to week! This is a little niche that I found that nobody was able to fill, and I wanted to dedicate my career to helping those families who only need four hours a day one day a week and that doesn’t necessarily need to be the same day. “Eliane and her husband were more than accommodating. I have a 12 year old dog who struggles with anxiety so finding a family to take care of my baby was a bit stressful. Upon messaging Elaine about her availability she immediately proposed a meet and greet. I was nervous Sepia wouldn’t get along with her own two dogs but it went wonderfully! Elaine and her husband were flexible with my tentative schedule and offered to host sepia for the night when I found out I needed to leave extremely early the next morning. With my crazy work schedule, I will 100% go straight to Elaine and Steven. Sepia clearly made herself at home ? and was spoiled with treats and endless love.”
About: I have built my life around loving and caring for animals. I have been with my local SPCA for 11 years and have been president for 8 years. My family has rescued and loved many animals throughout our lives and I would like nothing more than to extend that love to your pets. I am available at all times as I have retired and most of my SPCA volunteer work is done from my home. If for whatever reason I am not going to be there I will make sure you will be informed prior to my absence and my husband is available in the rare instance I am not. I have a dog boarding facility that can house up to 17 dogs of all sizes. There is a large outdoor play area and nice cozy accommodations including indoor and outdoor runs. Dogs have access to one on one play (including private walks) as well as group play depending on your preference and dog temperament.

I do currently have an iguana in his own enclosure and I have extensive reptile knowledge and I’m willing to assist with those as well. I currently have a light schedule that I work from home, so I am available for a lot of pet care needs. I do frequent bathroom visits play, and meal time. I am 100% about safety first. I will not accept any new dogs that will put anyone else in jeopardy. Although I have experience in housing a large number of dogs from my time fostering out in Goochland, and my time working in a doggy daycare, I do not wish to take on a large number of dogs at any one time.

About: I am an animal lover and have been for my whole life. I have always had dogs and/or cats. I have experience in giving medication, both orally andinjections. As well as tube feeding fowl. I also have experience in small farm/homestead. Including chickens, ducks, horses, pigs, goats, etc... I would treat your animals like my own. I can also water plants, gather mail, etc... In cases of house sitting for a week or longer (6+ nights), I am happy to travel within 200 miles. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any request. I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule to be able to care for your pets when and how they need it. We live on a farm with fields to run through, woods to roam and a pond to swim. I'm available to stay overnight in your home and take care of them in their own environment.

About: Growing up my family always had at least one or more pets of various breeds so I have 20+ years of experience around animals. I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, lizards, rabbits, goats, and hedgehogs. Personally, my husband & I have 2 dogs currently, 9 & 10 years old, one having epilepsy & is dependent on medication. I have helped raise/care for/train puppies, kittens, baby rabbits, & baby goats. The only pet I'm not comfortable with is snakes, my little sister has one but I only look at it from 3ft away in its enclosure, haha. I work part time Tu/W/Th 8A - 5P, I do not mind caring for pets those days, however I will be gone all day. Otherwise, I'm available for your pets needs! My personal routine with my pets: My husband helps me care for our pets daily but his schedule is a bit different than mine, so our dogs are let out at least within 4-6 hours those days. Otherwise, we let them out every 2-4 depending on their needs (which they have been trained to lets us know if they need to go sooner). Our medical dog is on a 12 hr medication schedule. I'd prefer to care in my clients home due to one of my dogs having a reactive past, it was quite a transition when we inherited our other dog. If you have a specific routine, I'm ready to follow it to the T! I'm comfortable walking dogs on leash, hanging out/playing with them in a fenced yard, or just chilling inside. As mentioned, I have experience with medically dependent pets. I have an escape artist, so I'm always vigilant of their proximity to me and prepared to run/chase in the event something happens. I can stay at the home with the pets or I can visit throughout the day!
About: I’ve owned and cared for furry (scaled and feathered!) friends my whole life. From cats and dogs, to guinea pigs and bunnies, to fish and birds. I even have experience caring for sugar gliders and a ball python. I’ve worked as a pet uber (with a company called Leash) and volunteered at shelters, socializing events, and cat rescues for several years, so I’m used to interacting with all kinds of pet personalities and ages. From shy snugglers, to loyal guardians, to spunky characters, to goofy adventurers, I love them all! You can trust I will love on your baby and treat them with as much care as I do my own fur babies. My schedule is fairly flexible right now since my medical retirement from the Army in October. I’m currently working on an online M.S. in psych and substitute teaching in my boyfriend’s town (Clarksville, VA) whenever I’m available. Since it’s a long commute and I’m typically called the morning of, I try to keep Monday and Tuesday open to sub if needed. I am more than willing to do virtual and in person meet and greets to learn pet needs and routines. I prefer to meet in person to get acquainted with your pet while they feel safe in your presence (but I’ve never met a pet I didn’t click with and love immediately.) I’ll accept any additional written/typed outlines detailing your pets care if that’s easier than leaving notes in the app. You name it and I’ll do it; whatever is best for you and your fur baby. Dogs under my care will enjoy long walks and dog parks trips where applicable. If you have a puppy (or dog) in training, I love to partner in their learning using whatever commands you prefer. Kitties under my care will get lots of playtime with wands and lasers, as well as tons of snuggles.
About: I have been taking care of my own dogs since I was young and love to be around all animals! I used to nanny for a family with 5 kids and they had a wonderful dog that I always helped to care for! Feeding and taking him to the groomers and vet appointments…all things that I was lucky to get to help with! I also used to care for 2 cats (both needing to take medication) and a bull dog on a daily basis! I have a Jack Russell (that just passed away) myself that I had for about 10+ years and no kids do she was my only fur baby! I have recently in the past year gotten a brand new puppy named Sugar! She is a beagle/terrier/lab mix and 25 pounds of Adorableness! She is so sweet And absolutely my little girl, as she follows me everywhere and tries to be wherever I am, and always under foot!!! She’s a little skittish and still all puppy at eight months! So I am no stranger to puppy needs at all! I also have Bella, who is a pit/beagle mix and she is a little over a year and a half old! She is 60 pounds of crazy but happy and smart and always at my husband side! What a love bug! But remember, with pets, there is no personal space! Lol I love pets of all kinds and will care for them as if they were my own! Snuggles are free!!! I am currently a part-time private nanny, to a bunch of different families who may need care for their little ones day a week, and my schedule is always changing from week to week! This is a little niche that I found that nobody was able to fill, and I wanted to dedicate my career to helping those families who only need four hours a day one day a week and that doesn’t necessarily need to be the same day. As my schedules always changing, my availability will always be changing so I will try to keep that up-to-date as I hope more of you reach out! I’m really looking forward to all the snuggles! I am always very mindful of the time for feedings and walks…any medication will be given correctly and timely…I will make sure your home is locked up after I leave from a walk and/or feeding! About: I am aware of the care and support animals need when they are not at home with their owners. I have 3 dogs of my own so I understand. This is my only job. I am always home, and I have reliable transportation to get me where I need to be. I am able to care for pets no matter the amount of time or attention the pet may require.. I own my own home, that has a fenced in back yard. I also have a room that is set up downstairs for if a a pet needs to be in their own space that is available. I do have 3 dogs of my own.

About: I walk an Jog everyday. I love dogs a puppies and cats! I also have 3 pet rabbits so if you have a rabbit I can take care of it as well. I have 4 dogs and 4 cats. 2 of my dogs are pure breed German shepherds and 1 is a Golden Shepherd so I’m not scared of big dogs!! I can do any drop in visit for cats or dogs or walks I’m a stay at home mom. My time is pretty free daily. I’m available for any drop in visit or daily walks. I also did Certified nursing my junior year of high school at a vocational school. “Matt and Lucky work opposite work schedules day/night which translates perfectly to making sure there is always someone home to care for your pet. We had to leave our 6 month old puppy behind for a recent 5day trip. Our flight was super early in the morning and they were accomodating to take him in the night before without charge. They have 2 dogs of their own and often have other dogs they watch also so if your dog likes other dogs it ends up being super fun for them while you are away. Matt and Lucky take pictures and usually send a few daily. Each time I can see my dog literally smiling, running with others, kissing Lucy, and generally having a great time.
