When we turn the corner onto Charissa’s street, our dogs automatically start wagging their tails in the car (even our nervous dog!) It’s a relief to see them be excited to go spend a week with Charissa and other dog friends. Depending on where you live, it might be a longer drive to get out to her location, but for us it is so worth it, especially for longer trips! Your pet will certainly get more outside time and individualized attention staying with Charissa than they would at a local kennel. Highly recommended!”

About: Hi, I’m Kayla! I’m looking to start dog walking during my lunch break during the week between 11ish am - 12ish pm in Ruckersville or the Hollymead area. I work from home Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. I will travel up to 15 minutes from my home (given 30 minutes with your pet). I can also do walks after 4:30 pm, given a proper heads up to adjust my schedule. I am well trained with animals and was also a veterinary assistant out after college! About: I’ve taken care of many animals in my life and I will continue to take care of animals for as long as I live. Getting to see dogs and cats every day has always been a joy but it’s been even better knowing I take care of people’s pets, knowing that people trust me with their furry friends is an honor. I’ve been in many different kinds of environments with dogs and cats outside of dog sitting. I have worked as a kennel assistant in two different vets, and realized that the veterinary field wasn’t the field I wanted to go down, I’ve worked in a doggy daycare where I go to play with dogs and see the looks on dogs faces when their owner picked up, I now work as a dog bather and have goals to become a dog groomer in the future. I will always have dog sitting open and available for years to come. Working with animals is so rewarding and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else. I currently am not working any jobs at the moment but I am a college student. My hours are much more flexible than they were in high school. I have class on Mondays and Wednesdays, and I also have band practice every day from 6-7:30. My weekends are free unless I have a game on Saturday or if I plan to go home on a weekend. We have a double harness leash for both of our dogs and we take them on daily walks. We do live in a townhome so we don’t have a fence but we do take them out and if you have a fence I will definitely be sure to give your furry friend the exercise they need!

They are spoiled I will admit. I also have taken care of my friends dogs for years while they have been out of town and my house as "Aunt Paige's Doggie Camp" All my dogs I have brought up from puppies. I have house trained them, crate trained them and trained them on the invisible fence for the yard. They always get lots of love and have lots of toys to play with, both inside and outside. I work from home, so I'm always here to take them out and take care of them. My dogs are always outside when it's not too hot or the weather is bad. I live on a quite street which ends in a cul-da-sak. So I will walk them at least 2 times a day The most important thing is they must get along with other dogs. I have a invisible fence in my yard and can certainly put your dog on it if they are trained on one. Otherwise I will go out with them and walk them. If they are well trained and can be lose a return on command they can play in the yard with my girls.

I live in an apartment and I'm currently only available to do boarding with one dogs but will consider two if they are bonded pair. before any boarding or housesitting services confirmed, I require we meet in person to ensure all the details are understood and that your dogs are OK with my dog. I have a 30 pound beagle mix named Daisy who is three years old and she will be with me at all times. I am always available for drop in visits and dog walking. prices fluctuate due to various factors but the main ones these days are gas prices and distance of travel. About: I have loved dogs since I was a kid! I recently have been working as a nanny and that has involved light care for pets as well, my current duties are walking the two dogs and feeding them treats and filling water bowls. I am very loving and caring. My previous job involved feeding and letting the pup out in the back yard to play and to help keep track of certain habits due to the dog having food allergies. I am so fond of animals as a whole that my future goal is to buy a house with lots of land and do free lance dog boarding! I would love to help your family with your pet’s needs! About: I have had pets all my life. I grew up with dogs and cats. I have worked in a dog grooming washing salon as well as watched them! I am excited to meet all the adorable dogs!!! I currently work part time 12-5 most days and pretty flexible after most days after that. Available during The weekends when I’m off as well! I am able to do same day care to dogs and cats I am excited to walk your dogs where they are comfortable at their own home :) I am also available to walk more then one dog at a time
About: I’ve been dog-sitting for three neighbors for over five years and have also provided cat care. I own two Great Danes and previously had a cat, so I’m comfortable with large breeds, daily routines, and attentive care. About: I am a lifelong animal lover. I am comfortable with caring for any breed and any size dog. We have a senior beagle mix, named Tallahassee, a Weimaraner, Luna and an American Bully, Axl. All of our dogs love to meet new pupper friends. Luna and Axl love to play with other dogs, while Tallahassee is the more laid back of the three. I have a flexible schedule so that I can work with most to be of any need to the animals in my care. I am comfortable and confident in caring for your animals and will care for them as if they were my own. As a dog, cat, rabbit, and chicken owner myself, I know and I understand the importance of who you leave your pet’s care in the hands of! I’m currently not working full time so I will have plenty of time to fit in all of the extra care and attention for your animals! I have a fenced in yard that the dogs can run and play in freely. Of course, if needed I can put the animals out in separate timeframes.
About: I’m an experienced pet sitter willing to care for your pets when you’re unable to. Mature and patient, I am an adult who is reliable and provides attention to detail when caring for your pet. I have lived in Gordonsville for 40+ years and had cats and dogs throughout this time. Prior to providing boarding or pet/house sitting service, I will meet with you and your pet to understand your needs and ensure a good fit for all. For day and overnight care, I will provide meticulous notes and/or text messages about feeding, potty breaks, etc. I have experience administering medicine as well as pet/house sitting for multiple pets (up to 20) at the same time. An additional $5 will be added for each drop in visit and walking service, if more than 10 miles from my home. I work from home and have a family of four so someone is almost always home. I try to keep the same routine for your pet as they experience at home. I will take care of your four legged family members like they are my own and provide ongoing text updates and photos throughout their stay.

“We have used Charissa many times for our two dogs. We love the attention that she gives each of her boarders and the outside time that they get each day. When we turn the corner onto Charissa’s street, our dogs automatically start wagging their tails in the car (even our nervous dog!) It’s a relief to see them be excited to go spend a week with Charissa and other dog friends. Depending on where you live, it might be a longer drive to get out to her location, but for us it is so worth it, especially for longer trips! Your pet will certainly get more outside time and individualized attention staying with Charissa than they would at a local kennel. Highly recommended!”
