I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”

About: As a mom of 2 human children and 1 very special needs bulldog, I can promise you I will be patient, caring and attentive when caring for your fur baby. Whether it’s lots of walks or dog parks or ball tossing playtime they need, or just cuddles and hugs if they want to lay low, rest assured your fur baby will receive the same level of care you would give them. My bulldog Nora has been special needs since day one- we say she is “misunderstood”. Dealing with pet sitters and walkers has been a nightmare for us so I never want another owner to have to go through the struggles we did. I only take on one pet at a time so they will get 100 percent of my attention.

About: I’ve had a dog my entire life except for a few very lonely months in 2020 after I lost the love of my life, Romey, the naughtiest lab with the best sense of humor. I grew up with labs (mostly ) but now have Gizmo, a labrodoodle , who will soon become BDE (best dog ever) if he can finally learn how to not jump like a kangaroo when he sees his dog friends. About: I’ve owned both dogs and cats and have cared for several family members’ pets for over 20 years! I’m a huge animal lover and miss having one of my own. I’m a stay-at-home-mom of 3 kids so I have plenty of time to walk and play! My schedule is extremely flexible and I’m available on weekends. I have an unfenced yard and live 20 feet from the Crozet trail system, right next to Claudius Crozet Park. About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats for over 20 years, pets are my passion! I am also a former Petshotel and Doggie Day Camp Manager for a national chain and have extensive experience handling dogs, cats, and small pets of all sizes and breeds. I am currently accepting small and medium sized dogs for in house day care and overnight stays. I specialize in small and delicate breed types, not usually suited for kenneling or vet boarding. All fur babies will be treated as family members while here! They can sit on the couch, sleep on the bed, and watch TV with us just like at home. Some larger "gentle giants" can be considered on a case by case basis, just reach out. I believe pets are family! All pets in my care are treated with loving and gentle guidance using only positive reinforcement. All dogs will remain on leash the entirety of their walk. We have a fenced in area off the back patio for bathroom breaks with wood chips as ground coverage. No grass of any kind for the safety of those pets with grass and skin allergies.

I’m a medical student, so I will have to be gone a few hours in the morning, but after that I can cater to any of your animals needs. I get up around 7 AM and head to get around 11:30. About: I grew up with dogs, cats, goats, chickens, pigs, peacocks. You name it. I’ve been a huge fan of animals since I can remember. I’m super active outside and love taking pups out on hikes or walks. My last dog had to take meds so I’m also extra sensitive to pups that may need more present care. I’ve dog sat and house sat for many years before and just recently decided to give rover a try. I’m also a photographer so pics of your sweet pea will be guaranteed! About: I have taken care of multiple animals throughout my life, mainly elder neighbors who cannot fully take care of their animals because of scheduling conflicts. I prefer overnight visits and stays just to ensure no schedules are disrupted. I currently attend UVA full-time as a Master's Student, and work Saturday nights at a restaurant in Cville. I am an RN by trade, so I am also comfortable dealing with special needs and conditions. If your dog likes the local dog park, that can be worked out as well. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your pup(s) soon. Cats also welcomed. I am working part time, so my schedule is flexible and weekends are an option often. My favorite part of every day is dog time.. I have a large yard out in the county away from traffic and an old lazy 14yr old lab who is user friendly with others. Crates are welcome but not necessary. My boy runs the lay of the land.
About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets over the years. Neighbors, family, and friends have relied on me to feed, walk, and bathe their pets. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 11 years old. I am a big animal lover so your pet would be in good hands. They will get a lot of attention, exercise, and love. I am fully able to take care of your pet 7 days a week and all daytime hours. I am available from 6am to 10pm. I can provide a leash if needed and walk only on sidewalks, paths, trails or take them to a nearby park. Safety is my highest priority.

“Alexandra and Logan were wonderful with my (sometimes overly) curious terrier, Eddie! I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”
