“A little far out but definitely worth it for our dog to have such a wonderful farm environment to roam and play. Maribel and Carl are wonderful and so attentive to dogs in their care! They carefully acclimate your dog to their farm property and then give them the opportunity to run and frolic with other dogs (on long leads). The kennel area attached to the house is a clean secure place for dogs to rest after exercise. Big plus; they send you pictures daily of the fun and rest times your dog is having! If you're looking for an adventuresome place to leave your dog while on vacation I highly recommend Maribel and Carl's farm haven!”

About: I've watched dogs and cats with all different personalities and needs (i.e. blind, diabetic, anxious, etc.). I believe in understanding a pet's needs from the perspective of the pet and responding with compassion. I work full time, but can usually work from home if needed. I will talk with you before we commit to pet sitting to ensure my schedule works for your needs (if that's getting off early, working from home every day during the time of the sitting, going home over lunch for a walk, etc). I have no fur babies (or kids) of my own, so your babies will get my undivided attention and I will shower them with all the love I wish I could give to my own fur baby if I had one. (Know I recognize that love looks different for different critters - for some it may mean keeping a respectful distance!)

About: I take care of pets for family when they need it and have experience caring for older pets, puppies, and those with special care instructions. My schedule is pretty flexible so I can take time to walk dogs during the day. I’m most available during the weekend and after 5 pm for over night boarding, but can potentially accommodate other schedules. I have no pets, so my home is perfect for less friendly pets. Crates will need to provided if they are needed for your pet, but I’m willing to keep up with their routine.

Teddi is a very well behaved and friendly boy but we were a bit anxious how this would go. Walt kept us well informed on how Teddi was doing. Walt gave Teddi great care and a lot of attention. When we returned to pick up Teddi, it was obvious that he and Teddy had bonded very well. We are very pleased with the care that Walt provided and will certainly use him again.”

About: Hi! I have experience caring for my family's elderly cat that passed away a few years ago. He had incontinence issues and seizures in the last few years of his life. I made sure to bathe him and love him through the end. Now I am the owner of two 1 year old cats that are beyond spoiled! I love cats and have taken care of many throughout the years. I even helped a mother cat giving birth, helped litter train her 4 kittens, and weaned them as they got older.

About: I’ve owned a black Labrador(Anna) for over 13 years, she has not once had any sort of health issue as I’ve feed her well, and kept her up to date on vet visits. I’m caring, compassionate, and smart and versatile enough to be calm in any situation that may arise. I assure you that I will treat your pet as if it were my own. This allows me the freedom to stay focused on your pet and be there when other folks have to leave. If a situation ever does arrive my strength are communication so you can rest assured I will be in constant contact, which as a pet owner for an older girl myself id expect from others if I left her in their care. If the pet requires adequate exercise I have no problem going on a long walk with them and the space is pet friendly as my dog (Anna) is there. About: I have always grown up around pets around the house! I am currently at college and am missing being around animals. I am always available to hang out, walk, play, or just chill with a pet. I have dealt with my goldendoodle for 9 years and it is the best thing that has happened to me. I am a college student and have 2 classes everyday which are each 1 hour. Therefore, I have a lot of flexibility before, in between, and after classes. I exercise daily so walking/playing with a dog fit perfectly in my schedule. About: I am a veterinarian who has dedicated her life to caring for animals. I have worked with animals from a young age, including many hours working in vet offices in high school leading up to college and vet school (became a licensed vet in 2020). I am quite comfortable with caring for animals who need medications administered, or more intense levels of care while their owners are away. About: My home is where I tell people "they have me trained well". I love all animals and believe they deserve the best of treatment as they give to us so unconditionally. Any animal in our household is taken care of as they are our children. Our older dog was raised to be kind to smaller animals and seems to think anything smaller than him is his to take care of. We taught this by stroking gently and telling him to "be nice" this is just a "baby". Animals are never hit or disciplined by any harsh means, we reinforce good behavior. Our dogs get brushed every night around 7:00 and remind us if we miss the time and we treat them to a small snack every evening around 8:30 which they know also.
