“What can I say about Connie that hasn't already been said by all of her happy clients! Connie boarded our dog, Willow, for over two weeks during the holidays while we were out of town. During Willow's stay, we got photo updates everyday and Willow had such a great time playing with all the dogs! Nearing the end of Willow's stay, we were traveling back to VA and got hit with flight delays and cancellations so there was no way we'd be able to make it home in time for pick up. It was a very stressful situation for us, but Connie was incredibly understanding and flexible, and it felt so comforting to know that Willow was taken care of while we were handling all these other logistics of getting home. I cannot say enough about the peace of mind Connie provided us. When we finally made it back to Virginia, our area got hit with a snowstorm, which led to highway closures and loss of electricity over several days. It was truly one thing after another! Connie's priority at the time was everyone's safety so she kept Willow for an additional day until the roads were cleared. There are not enough words to describe Connie's high level of service and understanding. And as always, Willow was VERY tired and all played out by the time we finally got home! About: I have always had a soft spot for animals. I began working in the medical field but realized my heart was in the place to care for animals instead. I have my own "misfit farm" of unwanted animals and in my down time I am taking on dog walking/pet sitting. I am knowledgeable in many animals including dogs, cats birds, small animals, exotics and farm animals. I currently own a Great Pyrenees, Can Corso, Miniature dachshund, a cat plus 3 rescue goats, bunnies and a ton of chickens. I can also help with basic training and using an E collar. Medications or special needs animals is also something I am comfortable with. I do have kids who love to go on walks with me when I am dog walking, but it is not necessary for them to come with . My dog sitting calendar is filling up quickly! At this moment I am boarding dogs on a case by case basis so just reach out and we can chat! I am available for house sitting, however cannot accommodate regular overnight stays but can accommodate frequent and lengthy visits. I am a mom to 3, but am pretty much open and available for your needs. Hanging out with animals is a strong passion of mine and I often use the extra cash to do things with my kids. About: I love all animals and enjoys their company. I'd love to take care of your dog(s) and cats while you're away, so you don't have to worry. When I'm not traveling, I work from home full time, so animals will have plenty of attention and go outside pretty frequently. I have a large yard on rural property and there's a dirt road to get in a several walks. Your dog will have supervised and/or leashed access to the outdoors. There's a lot of room to run. I have had experience handling medications for animals for several years, as my cocker spaniel took medications for glaucoma and congestive heart failure. You can trust that your pup will be spoiled here, like one of my very own. :) I am currently home full time but job hunting so animals have care 24/7.
