About: Hey y’all! I have taken care of pets, specifically dogs, for as long as I can remember. I grew up in Louisiana with 2 dachshunds in my family home. One of them had diabetes, so I am experienced with giving shots and oral medication. In addition to taking care of the weenie dogs, I had a pet hedgehog and chameleon in high school. I truly love animals of all kinds. I grew up walking and dog sitting for family friends and neighbors. In high school, I was an involved volunteer at my local humane society. When I was in college, I ended up rescuing a dog from that shelter. My parents took him in since I lived in a college dormitory. After I graduated college, I couldn’t wait to get my own dog! Here in Charlottesville, I have 1 dog now, Pretzel, who is a small lab mix. He is also a rescue, and is my world! I can’t wait to meet, walk, and watch your pets! I have a non-traditional work schedule that is unpredictable but also flexible. I go into work most week days, or sometimes work from home. My hours can vary, but I always make time to walk my dog Pretzel multiple times a day with trips to the dog park when I can. I am available on the weekends. In my home, Pretzel roams free. I do not kennel him, as he is potty trained. I want Pretzel to be able to roam around as he pleases. Pretzel sleeps with me every night.

About: Not only did I grow up with 2-3 dogs in the house, but my mom has worked for a dog rescue the last 10 years. My family has fostered more than 100 dogs ranging from newborn puppies to end of life care for senior dogs. I have helped with everything from feeding, cleaning, creating enrichment, and exercising dogs of all sizes and ages. I am currently taking time off of work before I move abroad for graduate school in September so am completely flexible! I will have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets health and happiness! I have a fenced in yard and two super docile and friendly spayed female dogs who have also spent extensive time with other dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. “Arleth is an awesome sitter! Leaving Ziggy can be stressful given his separation/confinement anxieties, but she made us feel completely at ease with her prompt communication and video/photo updates. Ziggy came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. We’ll definitely be rebooking!”
“Vanessa and her husband accepted our out of town booking far in advance for our wedding weekend. They accommodated various moving parts, including a wedding handler and a different pick up person. They sent updates frequently, and I could tell that my pup was happy, relaxed, and well taken care of. I knew immediately when dropping him off that he was in good hands! The mountain property is Lovely and close enough to town . “Briane is the BEST! Our 10 year old rescue had a tough start to life, so as a result, he has some pretty bad anxiety. He LOVED every minute of his time with Briane - we can tell b/c she sent us lots of pics and updates! She was so kind and understanding of our guy’s issues and needs. He had a blast running around her huge yard, and also enjoyed lots of long walks. I cannot recommend her highly enough!”
