“I have to be very picky when choosing sitters as one pup has separation anxiety and will not stay with just anyone. I have had many issues with past sitters being dishonest and not following my guidance but I HIGHLY recommend Tanine!!! I have two very high energy pups (golden doodle and lab). She kept me updated, good and bad, and made sure to give my pup his meds with enough time for them to be effective prior to crating. She ensured to make them as comfortable as possible through the day and I truly appreciate her level of care. I specifically chose her due to the training background and I am so glad I followed through though there were not many reviews. I did not have to ask for pictures or updates throughout. She has small children that seem to love dogs so I know my pups received comfort as they love children. She is a gem! I feel that every dog can be a good dog if they are set up for success. Every walk we take is considered training and they will be given a chance to use their brain to their fullest potential. During your dogs walks I offer two types of walk options. The first walk I offer is a training walk where we will spend 15 minutes working on heeling and 15 minutes allowing the dog to smell and go potty. I also offer hikes where your dog will be allowed to walk 1-4 miles over varying terrain depending on their fitness level and ability to get along with other animals. We try to follow owners daily routines the best we can when you leave your dog in our care so that transitions from house to house go as smooth as possible. I am well versed in giving medication and injections for dogs and I am happy to board dogs with special needs. I do ask that dogs are reasonably crate trained so that if they need to be left unattended for any amount of time they can remain in a crate for their safety. I am happy to discuss specific needs as far as crating goes. I am currently only working part time hours and am home most of the days. When I am not a home the pets are carefully monitored by camera in a dog safe part of the house. And given different items to keep them busy and enjoying their alone time. Whenever they have been in the crate they can expect a nice long romp around the property to give them ample time to use their nose and get a good run in. I have a fenced in small dog yard and we have a perimeter fence around our entire property allowing an additional level if security. When our on walks we make sure harnesses and collars are fit correctly and if there is a chance of a dog being a flight risk we take extra measures to prevent dogs from slipping out of collars. I am experienced in off leash trained dogs and I am happy to follow any specific instructions for what owners are comfortable allowing their dogs to do.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. They truly are a man’s bestfriend. At home I have a beautiful white lab, he is 95lbs of pure love thinking he’s a lapdog. I also have a King Charles Cavalier that is the princess of the house. She is so happy and spunky and keeps us all laughing. Previously I have owned Cocker Spaniels, other Labs and a Maltese. I started dogsitting when I was 11 years old. I had just arrived at my grandparents house and I saw this little dog wandering around and he ran right to me and I saw the owner walking towards me up the road. The puppy let me pick him up and we walked all the way to the owner. He and his wife were pilots so whenever they were flying I was working and I was ecstatic to have my first job looking after their two dogs. Through the years I’ve done Bathing, walks, feeding, medications, shots , vet trips, etc. I truly love dogs and seeing them happy, and giving their families peace of mind that their beloved pups will be well loved while they are gone. I am available for am/pm/afternoon drop in/walk visits and some weekends depending on location and dates. In your home I am comfortable and confident in my abilities taking your dogs out for walks on leashes, or leaving them out in the backyard to get some movement. I can stay and play for a while as needed to give them attention. I have a loving pit-mix at home. If our dogs got along we could potentially plan on having your pet come stay with us for a week/weekend! Additionally, we do have enough space (2 level home), a crate, and a fenced in yard so we can accommodate having another dog who does not get along with other dogs.
About: I am owned by my Australian Shepherd mix Luke, Flat Coat Retreiver Mack, chihuahua mix Dover and Jack Russel Dallas and I am here to put your mind at ease while you go on vacation or out of town for a business trip! I also have extensive experience with the feline variety. I am an EMT-B for humans, but I have also taken training classes in dog/cat CPR and Heimlich. Not that we will need it. I have experience in administering medication by mouth, IM injections and testing blood glucose. Feel free to contact me with any questions. I would prefer to stay in your home so that the fur kid will be more comfortable and maybe it will help with any separation anxiety. I do not mind bringing in the mail or any other task that may be similar.

“I have to be very picky when choosing sitters as one pup has separation anxiety and will not stay with just anyone. I have had many issues with past sitters being dishonest and not following my guidance but I HIGHLY recommend Tanine!!! I have two very high energy pups (golden doodle and lab). She kept me updated, good and bad, and made sure to give my pup his meds with enough time for them to be effective prior to crating. She ensured to make them as comfortable as possible through the day and I truly appreciate her level of care. I specifically chose her due to the training background and I am so glad I followed through though there were not many reviews. I did not have to ask for pictures or updates throughout. She has small children that seem to love dogs so I know my pups received comfort as they love children. She is a gem!
