“They had everything needed to care for our dogs. We only needed to bring food, they had plenty of beds and toys for them. There was tons of space for them to rub around, inside and out. Once we dropped them off, we felt comfortable that our dogs would be well taken care of. You could tell that they knew what they’re doing. When we went to pick them up, one was laying down outside and there was a bowl of ice water right next to him since it was warm out. Small things like that show they care and know how to take care of dogs. We’ll be using them in the future.”

Her home is beautiful and accommodates dogs - lots of toys, blanket to snuggle in or rest next to Leslie on sofa. Backyard is big and fenced in - a doggies dream backyard. Leslie sent fun pictures and kept us up-to-date on their potty breaks. She walked the pups on a walking trails near her home which my dogs loved. Hopefully next time they will get to see the Canadian geese which visit the local pond regularly. About: In our home your dog will receive a lot of love from our family and companionship from our two dogs. We have a golden retriever and a Bernese mountain dog. They are both 3 years old. We have bred each of them once and are used to having small puppies around. We have a large, fenced backyard for your dog to play safely. Your dog will be part of the family during their stay. We will take them on daily walks and will receive lots of cuddles. Besides intermittent outings, I will be home with your dog, the whole time. I have had dogs for many years, but I have dog sat dogs for the last two years. Your dog will be a part of our family. I homeschool my children and so we are home most of the time. We do have outings but are usually back within 4 hours. I can usually accommodate our schedule if your pet needs care more often than that, if I know in advance. I have a fenced back yard and two dogs of my own. I can also crate the dogs or separate the different areas of the house if there are any safety concerns.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was born and began caring for them as soon as I was able! I also have pet sat for friends and family in the past and have been doing Rover for around 2 years! I have a strong love for animals and find it hard to pass by a dog or cat or even squirrel in the street without saying hello. I would love to meet more pets and would find joy in taking cute pictures of them and playing with them! I also currently have 3 cats who are the best lil friends ever. I have off on Wednesdays and half days on Fridays which gives me lots of time for animal cuddles! I would love to find some pets to walk/ feed/ play with! In a clients home I would respect their rules and wishes, and ensure I give the pet lots of attention, that they are fed on time, and any medications are given when needed.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes; ranging from Chihuahuas to Labradors. Raised my 3 month pup till he was 16 so I can handle a dog at any phase. Currently I have no other job which means my schedule is quite flexible. My availability is Monday-Friday from 10am-10pm. New clients have to request a day before because setting up takes time. Clients already on file get 12hrs or less, depending on how booked I am. I would make sure a dog approaching is friendly and if yours is not I’d go another route to avoid complications. When I walk my dogs I make sure they poop before heading home so the same would go for yours. I would not try cutting the 1hr walk short.
About: With the exception of a few years during college, I have always had animals in my life! I grew up always having a cat and a dog in the house and taking progressively more responsibility for their care as I got older. Now, I'm owned by two dogs (a boxer mix and a lab mix) and two cats, one of which followed my boxer and I home one day and decided to stay. They are by far the best part of my day. With all these fur babies, I've run the gauntlet of pet care challenges, from pilling cats, to dealing with allergies, to working on behaviors like marking and excessive barking. I don't claim to have it all figured out, but what I do know is that it's made me incredibly patient and compassionate with any animals in my care. Plus I've learned a trick or two along the way! I currently work for myself (from home) as a research consultant. While I do have periodic meetings throughout the week, I usually have a significant amount of flexibility in my schedule during the mornings and afternoons. I often find myself going out on multiple long walks throughout the day and generally finding any excuse I can to be outside. So why not use that time to hang out with some new animal friends? My flexible schedule means that I can accommodate most any pet needs. I go for multiple walks every day both on my own and with my own dogs, so it's easy to incorporate lots of activity in your pet's day. I also have an enclosed front porch that we all love sitting outside in the shade on, just enjoying the fresh air. And on hot days, I even have a kiddie pool that one of my dogs likes to play in to cool off. Both my dogs are very friendly and would love to make new friends! One of my cats even enjoys horsing around with the dogs. My dogs have free reign in the house, but usually hang out with me. I'm happy to have your dog(s) make themself at home as well or to crate them if that's your preference.

“Kiley was good with communicating with me and was sweet with my dog, however, I booked a 30-minute walk and my dog was only walked for about 20 minutes, with the total visit lasting around 23 minutes. I expected to receive the full time I booked and paid for. She also brought her daughter without discussing it with me beforehand. Thankfully, my dog loves children, so it wasn't an issue for us, but I do think this is something that should be approved by the pet owner in advance.”

“Jamie, Mike and the whole family were amazing. It was very easy to book with Jamie and Mike. They were very quick to respond to my initial inquiry and answer any questions I had. They also asked questions and provided details about siting with them, that helped put my mind at ease, since I always worry about being separated from my pup. They were also very good communicating. Making sure we found a drop off and pick up time that works for us both, to sending multiple updates and photos on how my pup was doing while there. I am so grateful they opened their beautiful home, and shared their lovely family with Benjie. If available in the future, I would certainly use them to sit again, and would highly recommend them.”
“💕 Warm & Heartfelt Tara took such wonderful care of Peanut while I was away. I could tell right away that she treated her with so much love and attention. She and her family cared for my dog with so much love, as if Peanut were her own. Her kids were also so sweet and played so nicely with Peanut — it really made her stay extra special. She even surprised us with an adorable elephant toy and cookies for Peanut to take home, which was incredibly thoughtful. Peanut came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. “They had everything needed to care for our dogs. We only needed to bring food, they had plenty of beds and toys for them. There was tons of space for them to rub around, inside and out. Once we dropped them off, we felt comfortable that our dogs would be well taken care of. You could tell that they knew what they’re doing. When we went to pick them up, one was laying down outside and there was a bowl of ice water right next to him since it was warm out. Small things like that show they care and know how to take care of dogs. We’ll be using them in the future.”
