Midweek, one of our dogs had an upset stomach, and Hillary was proactive, attentive, and accommodating in handling it. About: I have taken care of lots of dogs over the years. I love on all of them, and give great doggie massages. I take the dogs on daily walks. I work 3 to 4 hours each day and am home most of the time. I am a master gardener and spend a lot of free time in the yard. I have a fairly large fenced in back yard. I take my own dogs for a morning walk most every day. I give lots of treats.

She asked all kinds of follow up questions to make sure kitty would be as comfortable as possible in his home away from home. About: I cannot remember a time where I haven’t owned a cat. From adopting them out of shelters to adopting them out of our garage; I have absolutely adored them. I’ve administered many medications throughout my time along with bottle fed kittens every 3-4 hours.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with them, cared for and dog sat for over 15 years while being a nannny. I've had two dogs of my own as well. My family and I have recently lost our beloved pup and are desiring to spend time with yours to get all the dog snuggles and love we can! I am a stay at home mom with 3 kids. We are home daily and most weekends. We love for your sweet pup to hang with us during the day or stay with us during a vacation or long weekend away. We do not have a fenced in yard but have 2 acres of property that we would leash your dog and take for walks around the property. We had a dog in the past that had medication needs and special food needs so I accustomed to caring for dogs with special needs. We are also a couch/furniture friendly family if that is something that is important to you. We do have small children but both are use to dogs and love them! We also do not have a pet of our right currently and so your dog would definitely be the center of our attention.

About: We’re a dog-loving family with experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and energy levels. We have two dogs of our own: a senior Lab/hound mix and a middle-aged Great Dane. We’re comfortable with everything from energetic playtime to older dogs who prefer a slower pace, and we’re happy to follow your dog’s normal routines, feeding schedule, and house rules. We both work hybrid schedules, so someone is home with the dogs most of the time. Dogs get regular outdoor breaks throughout the day and plenty of attention and interaction. We’re happy to accommodate dogs who need more activity as well as those who are content to relax and hang out with us. We have a large, fenced-in yard where dogs can safely get outside and play. Our fence is approximately 3 feet high and made of hog wire, so we’re best suited for dogs who aren’t jumpers or determined escape artists. Our own dogs respect the boundary. We also have a dog-loving 4-year-old, so dogs must be comfortable and safe around children. Our dogs are friendly and accustomed to sharing their space with other dogs. At night, visiting dogs sleep downstairs on their own dog bed or one of our designated “dog couches.” Crate-trained dogs are welcome to use their crate if that is what makes them most comfortable.

About: I grew up taking care of dogs in my neighborhood as a kid and teenager. I have always had a big love for furr animals! I work a very flexible schedule during the week that allows me to have last minute changes or needs to take care of if need be! My wife is also home with our toddler, so dogs are almost always with company. About: I’ve always loved animals, I have a 4 year old Australian Shepherd and he is my whole world. I will treat your fur baby with the love, care, and attention that I show my own fur baby. About: I changed the direction my life was going and found the REASON was Animal Care. I began volunteering at 2 local Humane Societies in 2013. Very shortly thereafter became employed at both Societies = working 7 days a week with animals. I adopted my first 2 pets (torti cats named Cali & Ava) in the Fall of 2013. Adopted a 3rd torti cat in the Spring of 2014 (named Hallie B). I adopted a chihuahua in the Fall of 2016 (named Clara my grandmother’s name). With the exception of Hallie B they have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The 1st in December 2020 then June 2021 and most recently in May of 2025 :-( 🐾🐾🐾 They were adopted as Seniors. They were the best. After 4 years of Humane Society work I changed direction again in 2017 to a more professional aspect of Animal Care becoming employed at a Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Attendant for over 7 years. I have performed a number of cat drop-ins around the Gloucester area for various residents affiliated with the Humane Society. One such assignment lasted for almost two months while the cat’s owners traveled to Florida for the winter. I currently work (outside of Animal Care) OVERNIGHT 40 hours SUNDAY thru WEDNESDAY. Those days I am usually available for Animal Care from 8am to 2pm. Thursday thru Saturday I am totally available. There is some flexibility with my overnight work and the possibility of a little accommodation for Animal Care. I also have to spare some time for my own cat’s care. About: I work as a Veterinarian Assistant for an amazing clinic! Ever since childhood, I knew animal caregiving was my future. I started in different 4H groups to start growing my knowledge in this field! When I was 13, I started working at a boarding Barn facility. At this facility, I took care of multiple different types of animals including dogs and cats! In high school, I took a majority of health science classes and agricultural classes including vet sciences. I do not have neighbors directly adjacent to my yard, so there is minimal concern about pets being distracted or stressed by animals on the other side of the fence. I am a lifelong animal lover and currently share my home with a senior dog, whom I've raised since she was 8 weeks old, and a young cat who has been part of our family since he was 8 weeks old as well. Having cared for pets through every stage of life—from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets requiring extra attention—I understand that every animal has unique needs and routines. When your pet stays with me, they will be treated like a member of the family. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where they can feel at home while you're away. I personally allow my pets on the furniture, but I fully respect each owner's preferences. If your pet has specific rules, routines, feeding schedules, medication needs, or restrictions, just let me know and I will be happy to follow them to ensure consistency and comfort during their stay. I believe communication is important, so I am also happy to provide updates, photos, and messages while your pet is in my care, giving you peace of mind knowing they are safe, happy, and well loved.

“Hillary was great. She communicated frequently and sent reassuring updates and photos throughout our week away. We have two dogs and wanted them somewhere they’d get a lot of attention and affection, which is exactly what they got with Hillary and her family. The photos showed our dogs relaxed, on walks, and often curled up in laps—clearly comfortable and well cared for. Midweek, one of our dogs had an upset stomach, and Hillary was proactive, attentive, and accommodating in handling it. She was a pleasure to interact with from start to finish, and I’m truly grateful for the care she gave our dogs. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again!”
About: I have taken care of lots of dogs over the years. I love on all of them, and give great doggie massages. I take the dogs on daily walks. I work 3 to 4 hours each day and am home most of the time. I am a master gardener and spend a lot of free time in the yard. I have a fairly large fenced in back yard. I take my own dogs for a morning walk most every day. I give lots of treats.

We sent a message to Savannah and not only did she respond immediately, but she brought us out of our panic by telling us to head right over with our sweet girl. Our family has been used to having furry friends for a long time. I’m a teacher and my husband is a travel soccer club director, so our home is active, family-oriented, and full of love. Our goal is for every dog who stays with us to have a happy, safe, and fun stay!🐶❤️ A Typical Day in Our Home 🐾 Our home has a nice balance of structure, activity, and plenty of attention for our four-legged guests. I’m a full-time teacher, so I’m at work during the school day, but I’m home after school and have afternoons and evenings to spend with the dogs. My husband has a flexible schedule and typically doesn’t start work until around 10:00 AM and is home by about 3:00 PM. This means your pup won’t be alone for long stretches of time, and there is someone around during much of the day. Our mornings are busy with getting the kids ready for school, but we make time for potty breaks, breakfast, and some attention before everyone heads out. Once the kids are home from school, things become more active! We enjoy walks, outdoor play, and spending time together as a family. We live in the gated community of Fords Colony, so the walking paths for your pup are perfect and safe. Your pup will get plenty of attention, playtime, and opportunities to relax throughout the afternoon and evening. We’re happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, potty, and medication routines as closely as possible. Our goal is to make their stay feel comfortable, safe, and as much like home as possible!
