About: I’ve always been a dog person! I’ve raised multiple puppies and have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages. I would be happy to hang with any and all dogs! I work 9-5 on the weekdays but I would be happy to pet sit, do drop in visits, and walks both before and after! I will make sure to spend all of my free time with your pup! I currently care for a 12 year old German Shorthaired Pointer, so I have firsthand experience managing high energy levels, from his puppy years through his senior stage, while also being attentive to the extra care older dogs need. I can balance exercise, routine, and care. In addition, I have two 14 year old cats and experience feeding cats and maintaining clean litter boxes. I also enjoy running and I have experience running with my GSP. I’m currently working at a tax accounting firm in Charlottesville through the end of tax season on April 15, 2026, so my Rover availability is limited until then. Starting April 16, 2026, I’ll be a lot more flexible since my seasonal position ends! I’ll have completely open weekday availability for dog walks, drop-in visits, and checking in on houses or cats. About: I am a huge lover of dogs of all kinds, from chihuahua to doberman. I love to play with them all. I have two dogs whom I love with all my heart. My dog Chip is an 80 pound ball of anxiety who is afraid of dogs a fourth of his size. I also have a golden doodle named Huitzi. She is very loving and kind and has been trained to be a therapy dog. About: Animals have always been a major part of my life. I have experience with grooming, bathing & boarding animals during my college days. Animals sense the kindness & goodwill in my heart. I was recently told, "I have never seen my cat allow anyone to pick her up." I also briefly fostered a German Shepherd at a local kennel. She only allowed me to be around her. She was very protective of me. She was a one person dog that needed to be adopted by someone who had a lot of time to change her aggressive behavior towards others. I currently own 3 geriatric kitties. Ebony is 14, Buzz is 17 & Bacardi is 21. Two of my 3 are on medications all of the time. I also have a 2 year old German Shepherd I rescued from a bad situation. Her name is Khelani. I call her Lani for short. She is a sweetheart and has needed a lot of socialization due to her prior home. I am currently not working. I love animals deeply and will do everything I can to make you pet feel right at home. It’s a plus for me too to be able to meet your fury friend! I work part time and have a flexible schedule, so I am able to accommodate most people’s availability. I can make most pets schedules work and am open to working morning, afternoon, and evening. She was so kind, communicative, and thoughtful throughout the entire stay. She sent me lots of updates and photos, which meant so much and made being away from my boy so much easier. “Alexandra and Logan were wonderful with my (sometimes overly) curious terrier, Eddie! I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”

“My husband and I travel most places with our fur babies and finding local Rovers when they can't check-in with us. While we have had good success finding trusting and loving sitters, we really were blessed to meet Mark and Daniel. Their attention to detail prior to our pets arrival, their ability to be flexible when my scheduling mistake was uncovered, but most importantly, the level of care my pups received was top-notch. The home is clean, fenced in large yard and they really love what they do. I don't know if we will be back in that area, but if we are I will re-book with Mark and Daniel.”
