We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Dog walking and pet care is more then simply providing the basics, I appreciate the trust that owners give when having someone provide care for there beloved animals. My schedule is generally flexible and I can usually accommodate even last min requests. However I do occasionally have a fully scheduled week and any house sitting or dog sitting requests would be easier to schedule with a couple weeks notice. I do not currently have a fenced in yard, but I provide walks and potty breaks by walking on a leash as needed. I live close to 2 dog park’s and I love to take them there to burn off energy ( as long as dog parks are not an overwhelming experience and the owner agrees it is ok to visit one ), I also enjoy bringing them along as a running and hiking buddy on the several nature trails near me. If I am watching a pet in their own home, I will just keep up with the normal routine as stated by the owner, and of course always check with you to make sure any new activities we try are ok

About: I have 3 dogs in my family and assist taking care of them on the daily. They are a mixture of breeds and big and small. I have also been dog sitting for various breeds and sizes for an extended amount of time! In addition to our three dogs, there is also a bunny in the family that I assist in caretaking for! I have cared for many dogs of various breeds & sizes throughout my life and currently have three dogs and two cats at home.
