“Short answer: Ryan is the BEST petsitter/house sitter, definitely book them!! 5 out of 5 stars!! Long answer: Ryan was so kind and communicative from the start--we set up a meet and greet so they could meet our two kitties. Our cats have some quirks and also need a lot of quality human attention or else they become very strained/agitated. When we got back from our two-week trip, it was clear that Ryan loved/tended to our cats the way they needed to be. Our cats were happy, calm (as possible), and even well-brushed (we have a long-haired cat who becomes VERY easily matted)! Ryan frequently sent updates of our cats well-being, and cute pictures as well! Through Ryan's updates, it was clear that they were really understanding and "tuned-in" to our cats personalities/needs. Once we were already on our trip, we realized that we forgot to do a few important tasks before we left, but Ryan came to the rescue and was happy to help out! The house itself was in perfect condition, Ryan even washed the towels and bedsheets. I honestly couldn't write a better review, I am so grateful for Ryan--their presence gave us peace of mind even though we were an ocean away from our kitties. About: After I graduated college many years ago, I worked with an animal rescue before entering into a veterinary career. After more than 10 years in general vet, ER vet, and specialty vet -- when we moved back to VA, I decided to switch careers and I've worked from home ever since. I'm comfortable caring for dogs & cats with special needs and complicated medication schedules. I also have experience with exotic pets including guinea pigs, hamsters, bearded dragons, freshwater tanks, and saltwater tanks. I own a bearded dragon and have several fish tanks: 55g fresh, 30 salt, 10 fresh, 3.3 pico salt. I work from home (and have for 10 years). I have two in-home dogs - french bulldogs, one male, one female, both fixed, friendly, and ready to play! I have my own dogs on a pretty steady schedule. They go out around 4-5am (when my partner wakes up), come back to bed, out again at 8am, eat breakfast, another potty break around 10-11 am, out again around 1-2pm, 4-5pm, dinner around 8pm, out again, and one last potty break before bed usually somewhere around 10-11pm. When your dog stays at our home, they'll get regular potty breaks and their usual feeding routine. If they need alone time, we have the space to give them their own space, time in the yard, and time for cuddles by themselves. We have a 4' tall chain link fence around our yard. Our two dogs love to go out often and explore. We have dogs on three sides, so plenty of fun to be had. Non-dog-friendly dogs would not do well in my home at this time. At your home, I'll follow your schedule and details for what your pets are used to. If you have exotic pets or fish tanks, let me know! I offer exotic or fish tank rates, as well. I have a full time job, but it is very flexible and I work from home so I'm able to work with most requests with ease. In my home, I have a fenced in yard and am able to let your fur baby out at least every 2 hours. If I am in your home, during the week I might be working, but thanks to my flex schedule I can work around most anything up to and including walks and playtime every couple hours.

About: I will take care of as if my own. I tend to get attached and fall in Love fast with furry friends. It’s actually called baby kitty syndrome. Like when you want to squeeze them so hard you will hurt them. Lol I need something to do with myself and make a little extra cash. I’ve lived with dogs, cats, birds, fish and rabbits all my life. I rescued 2 dogs, brother and sister, from the woods when they were 6wks old. They made it to be 16. I do have issues with my left leg/foot and lower back. About: I am a dog lover who has a mini Bernedoodle. I have had senior dogs and dogs with extensive medical needs. I am able to administer meds in any way shape or form and have done the off leash K9 training with two of my own dogs now, so am aware of some basic commands. About: I’ve been around cats and dogs since I was barely tall enough to see over a food bowl, and that lifelong hands-on experience shaped me into someone who naturally understands animal behavior, routines, and training. I’ve personally trained my own dogs and have always been deeply involved in their care, from daily structure to behavior shaping and enrichment. Right now I share my home with a cat who keeps life interesting, and I’m very attentive to creating a happy, stable environment for pets. Animals have always been a constant part of my life, and caring for them feels less like a task and more like second nature. 🐾 My schedule is pretty structured around my work hours: I work 4pm–12am, and outside of that I’m home and available for the rest of the day. I keep my routine simple and steady, and I’m usually around in the mornings and early afternoons before heading into work. I’m not someone who’s constantly on the go or juggling a million commitments—my life is more grounded in work, home, and taking care of my pets. That balance gives me a lot of consistency and time to focus on what matters day to day. I take safety and trust seriously when it comes to animals and their environment. In the past, I’ve crate-trained my dogs and learned how to create calm, structured routines that help them feel secure and well-behaved. I’m comfortable setting boundaries in a gentle but consistent way, depending on the needs of each pet. My home is also very pet-safe, especially because my current cat is extremely curious and determined to investigate everything. I’ve adapted my space to keep hazards out of reach and ensure it’s a safe, enriched environment where pets can explore without getting into trouble. I pay close attention to what they can access and how they interact with their surroundings, so safety is always built into the way I live with animals. 🐾
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10. My parents taught me how to train kittens and puppies. I love to walk my neighbors’ dogs around the neighborhood and I take care of them when they go on vacation. I currently am working part time so I have plenty of time to watch your pets! I can do any time of the day or overnight, as long as I get notified a week in advance. I currently have a 6 year old yorkie who I trained when he was just 6 weeks old. He is the absolute sweetest and loves other animals. I am perfectly fine to work in any home with dogs and/or cats. I will make them happy in their home.
About: I have loved animals all my life, and my experience has ranged from caring for my own pets, to short-term and long-term fostering for friends and military families. I have cared for dogs, cats, hamsters, lizards, bunnies, birds and small livestock. I love them and treat them all as though they are my own. I am currently a currently a stay at home mom, and my children are now all school-aged. I care for my animals at home, and I have an open schedule, heart, and home to care for other animals. I have a about 1.3 acres of land with a dedicated (vinyl) fenced in area for dogs so I have plenty of room for outdoor playtime. Indoors, a few of my animals are crated at night based on their individual needs but all walk freely during the day. In your home, I am open to whatever is most comfortable for your pet.
About: I genuinely love animals. I am the type of person who stops everyone and asks if I can pet their dog. I do have professional training in taking care of animals; I worked at an animal rescue and a doggy daycare! I am 25 years old and I have my own transportation and will work very hard to take care of your pet! I have experience walking dogs of all ages and sizes. I also have experience taking care of dogs of all sizes and ages. Including animals with special food requirements, feeding instructions and giving medications such as pills. I have some training in dogs with temperament issues. I also have experience in taking care of cats, fish and reptiles if needed. I just graduated with my masters degree so my schedule is all over the place, just ask me if I’m free and I’ll let you know! I have my schedule in advance normally. I have experience in crating dogs if that’s what’s required for your pet. My own dogs now are free roamers around the house so I have experience with excited or guarded animals when entering the home. I like being given clear directions so I know how to best care for your fur babies!
About: Hi! I currently have a boxer/shiba Inu and a rescue puppy. My boxer/shiba went through an intensive training program where I was taught how to train a dog as well so I’m great with dogs. I love dogs (maybe more than people lol) and whenever there’s a dog around me my heart melts and I just want to play with them and take care of all the pups!! I am currently a teacher and work Monday-Friday. I walk and/ or feed the pets I’m worked with before work and then again after work as well as play time. In the weekends I’m home all day long as well as in the summer months. I care for all animals as if they were my own. All animal get attention, scheduled meals, and exercise. I also have gates to separate animals if necessary.
