“Amanda and Scott were excellent with our dog. We were visiting the area for the day and were willing to watch her for a limited time. They sent photos and were so welcoming. I would highly recommend them if you are in the Williamsburg area. I will plan to use them again when we come back. Our dog had a great time!!”

“We were away in England for almost three weeks. Teona & Louie sent videos & pics every day. We were never in doubt that Penny was in good hands and being well taken care of. Based on the photos/videos, she looked like she was always having a great time playing with the other pups. We would absolutely feel comfortable with leaving Penny with Teona & Louie again. Highly recommend.”

“Great place, great family, and our dogs love this place. It’s like doggie summer camp!!! Always gives great daily updates and pictures which reassure us that our pups are enjoying their vacation as we enjoy ours!”

“Ciara took great care of our Newfie for 16 days. She was always so positive about how Angel was doing and continued to let us know. Angel had a great time playing with her dog, Jinji, and others she was watching. Ciara stayed in communication with us. We feel very lucky to have found her!”

“I was so nervous about leaving my pup for the first time. Once I met the family they were so wonderful and I felt immediately at ease. They sent lots of updates and pictures which made me so happy to see what great care they were giving him. Highly recommend this amazing family will be using them again in tbe future 100%.”

“I could not be more pleased with our boarding experience with Ryan & Stephanie! Bogey & Moose enjoyed staying in their home and getting lots of love and attention from their family. They sent 'pupdates' and pictures that allowed me to relax and not worry about them while we were away. My boys came home happy and exhausted from all the playtime they had on their large property. Ryan & Stephanie will be our first choice for boarding or daycare in the future!”

“Smokey stayed with her for 3 days and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She kept me updated, took great care of Smokey, and made me feel really comfortable leaving her there. Smokey came back happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and treats the dogs like her own. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend!”

“Victoria took such good care of our pup when we were gone for a 10 day vacation. He was happy to play with the other dogs and loved being able to roam the house and lounge on the couch. Victoria will be our go-to when we go on vacation moving forward. You can rest assured that your pup will be in great hands if she's the sitter. Highly recommend!”

“Our Dixie had a wonderful stay with Shania and her family. We were sent pictures and updates during Dixie’s stay. She was well taken care of and we will definitely be planning another stay with Shania.”

“Jared was wonderful caring for Bazooka! He sent me pictures everyday so I was able to see what they were up to. Bazooka looked like he was very comfortable throughout his visit; which says a lot about the environment he was in, as cats tend to be skittish in new places. I would absolutely recommend booking Jared.”

“This was our puppy’s first visit to Gretchen, and I can’t adequately express how wonderful she was with him. She made him feel comfortable, and she sent us regular images of him as he relaxed on the couch. Thank you so much, Gretchen, for loving our little guy for the weekend!!”

“Jen was great with our super skiddish dog who doesn’t have much experience with other animals or people but Jen ensured she would do great! I got pics everyday and she’s so quick to respond! Definitely rebooking with her in the future!”

“Ms. Crystal was so kind, loving and patient with our tiny 3 month old Teddy! Puppies require a lot of love and attention as they are like sponges soaking everything in at a fast pace. They are also a lot more work than a trained adult dog. Ms. Crystal treated Teddy like her very own “grand dog”. She sent pictures and videos throughout the weekend to give us a glimpse of their day and to reassure us he was doing very well. I’m a meticulous person and she followed all of teddy’s care instructions. She even provided us with tips as new puppy parents. He was calm and relaxed when we picked him up and Ms Crystal even gave him a new toy that he loves! We are so happy we found her! We look forward to booking her first years to come!”

“Omaira and Isaac were great sitters. I believe they really did care for our pup like we would have. They were helpful and accommodating and I would book with them again.”

“Maggie took great care of Haru, she is very attentive and sent us daily updates while we were away. Our dog was very happy. I definitely recommend Maggie if you need someone trustworthy and reliable to watch your pet.”

“Sandra and her family are great! Both of our dogs instantly felt comfortable with them and so did we. We found Sandra to be patient and kind to our boys and had no doubt they were in goods hands while we were away. She checked in with us often to let us know how they were doing. Great job Sandra!”

“Dickson and Maria took great care of Zoe for us and were flexible when Mother Nature threw us a massive curveball on the other side of the country! They sent regular updates and pics and video of our tiny dog throughout her stay. Thank you!”

“Billy had a wonderful time at Lauryn’s! I came home to find a very happy and well looked after dog! Lauryn was great throughout my time away and sent regular updates and pictures of Billy, and I could see he was being well looked after. She also prepared some food for him which I had forgotten to drop off, which was a very nice bonus. I would absolutely recommend Lauryn!”

“Brittany was able to answer many questions and provide a meet and greet prior to watching Bean. I had already met with 5 other sitters who weren't the right fit. Brittany came prepared to also ask me questions to Better understand how to best care for Bean. Lima Bean had a great stay even with thunderstorms present which causes her the most anxiety. She was spoiled and even came home with a cute Bandana. Brittany understood how important it was for me to receive multiple updates a day that encompassed pictures. This eased my mind that she was doing well. I would definitely recommend Brittany due to her pet knowledge and friendly personality.”

“We just had Katy for her first visits to our home for my two cats, Hobbes and Fuzzle. She did a great job, we got consistent communication from her, and she was truly a pleasure to work with. I didn't worry about a thing while we were gone, and I highly recommend her sitter services!”

“Aneesa was absolutely AMAZING!!! I cannot thank her enough for the hard work my furry children put her through!!! 😅 She chased and wrangled the bunnies around the house who kept finding ways to escape and was extremely patient with my old man pup who was aggressively protective for the first couple of days, and eventually became great friends after a while! I was so stressed about the chaos as I was away but Aneesa kept calm and had everything under control as well as kept coming up with new ideas to keep things under control until the next check in. She’s so sweet she even took my trash bin back from the road and brought in all my packages that arrived at my doorstep. I would 10000000% recommend her for any of your fur baby needs while you’re away!”

“Chrissie has been absolutely amazing with my dog! She sends thorough descriptions of her visits, takes the best photos, and lets me know of any concerns promptly and efficiently! When Chrissie is with my dog, I know she is in the best hands! Chrissie is extremely reliable and trustworthy. We will continue to book with her :)”

“Imani took great care of my babies while I was away. She kept us updated and even managed to get my skittish cat to warm up to her! I highly recommend hiring her to care for your pets.”

About: I have had cats my entire life and have extensive experience caring for them through all stages of life. Growing up with cats taught me the importance of understanding their individual personalities, routines, and needs. In my adult life, I have had two cats of my own. One of them I raised from a kitten and cared for throughout his entire life until he was 13 years old. This experience gave me firsthand knowledge of kitten care, adult cat care, and the special attention and support senior cats need as they age. I am comfortable with daily feeding routines, litter box maintenance, administering medications when needed, and providing companionship while respecting each cat's unique temperament. Having lived with and cared for cats my whole life, I understand how important it is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for them.
About: Loving Care for Your Furry Family Member! With years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities, I provide dedicated, professional dog-sitting services you can trust. My goal is to be a reliable part of their day, making sure your pet feels secure and cared for, with a routine they can count on. As an experienced pet sitter, I prioritize safety and trust, treating your home and pet with the utmost respect. By caring for pets in their familiar environment, I help maintain their comfort and routine, reducing stress while you're away. You can feel secure knowing that I handle every interaction with care and attentiveness, catering to your pet’s specific needs while keeping your home safe and tidy. My commitment to providing a trusted, nurturing experience brings peace of mind to pet parents and creates a positive, comforting environment for your furry family members.
“Ashton was awesome. She is very personable and easy to communicate with. We got notes and pictures from her daily. Our one cat hid most of the time, but she found him or monitored food. The other two decided that she is the best thing ever! While we were gone, we had a tree come down at thw top of our very long driveway. Ashton willingly walked in from the top and took care of them. Will absolutely have her back again.”

“Victoria did a great job of taking care of my cat Neko while I was away for a week on vacation. I am a worry body when it comes to pets, but she sent pictures and kept me updated while I was away which eased my mind. I am thankful that someone of her caliber was around to look after the little guy. Would recommend to anyone in the area who needs a pet sitter!!”

About: Hello! My name is Victoria. I am 28 years old and currently an ICU nurse, with 5 years of previous emergency room experience with a deep love for animals. I bring a calm, attentive, and safety-focused approach to pet care—especially for dogs who need a little extra support. I’m comfortable administering medications (including injections), caring for senior dogs, and monitoring pets with medical or anxiety needs. If your dog has special routines or health concerns, you can trust they’ll be in capable hands. I know how important it is to feel at ease when leaving your pet, so I provide frequent updates, photos, and clear communication. My goal is for you to feel completely confident and your dog to feel completely at home. I have 3 dogs, Chester, Maverick, and Thor who have never met another pup they didnt like. My two older boys, Chester and Maverick, are content to lay around all day long if that is what your dog enjoys. However, I also have Thor, who is a year and a half and he loves to play with other dogs, but is also ready to settle down for a good nap at any time. Whether your pup needs a relaxing stay, structured care, or extra patience, I’d love to help! ✔ Medical experience (nurse background) ✔ Comfortable with medications & special needs ✔ Calm, reliable, detail-oriented care ✔ Great with puppies and senior dogs ✔ Frequent updates so you never have to worry I currently work 3 12 hour shifts a week so I have plenty of availability to take care of your pets. I make my own schedule as well, so I plenty of flexibility. I have a fenced in yard and three sweet boy pups to play with your babies! I also like to meet the pups ahead of time to ensure that everyone gets along well. However, we do have two extra bedrooms that can be a safe place if you’re a pup just needs a little time away from the boys.
“Carissa is amazing! We have a very shy cat and he started warming up to her within just a couple of visits. She cleaned the litter box, made sure his food/water was full, and spent time playing with him. She’s quick to respond, leaves great notes after each visit, and sends pictures and videos during every visit! I’d highly recommend her and will definitely be reaching out to her again next time we need someone to take care of our fur baby! :)”

Thank you again!”

“Fantastic experience. Scott and Lyra treated Orbit like one of their own. The second day we dropped him off, Orbit ran over to them wagging his tail. He was happy to visit them again. Highly recommend!”

“Our Kona's Day Care is coming along quite nicely with Maggie and her family. He is getting to know her children and small dog. We look forward to leaving Kona with Maggie for a few nights later this month. We think it is a good fit and that he will be happy which is very important to us. Thank you Maggie for taking good care of our boy. Mike and Kay Chase”

“Lana was great! She was quick to respond and was able to take our dog Wally in on short notice! Her photo updates of Wally were adorable and I felt completely comfortable instantly leaving him with her and her family! Wally had such a great time, thanks again Lana!”

“Christene's daycare was just what we needed. We had a fantastic meet and greet where our dogs got along great. After daycare, Willow seemed happy and excited. Best part, Willow smelled great at pickup (I can't say the same when she gets home from company daycares).”

“Ellie G. is a great communicator with photo updates. The daycare day went well and Annie O was introduced to Ellie’s chickens and I’m sure she wanted to get a little closer but Ellie was great keeping Annie away from them. Annie also met Ellie’s dog and it appears that they both made a new friend. The day was a success.”

About: I've been caring for animals since I was 7 years old, and my love for pets has only grown over the years. As an adult, I worked at an animal shelter, where I gained hands-on experience caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities, needs, and backgrounds. I have also adopted and cared for three dogs of my own throughout every stage of their lives, from energetic puppies to senior dogs requiring extra patience, attention, and specialized care. This experience has given me a strong understanding of daily pet care, administering medications, recognizing changes in behavior, and providing the love and comfort pets need to feel safe and happy. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your furry family members. I have a fully fenced backyard with a 5-foot chain-link fence, providing a safe and secure space for your pet to play, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. I do not have neighbors directly adjacent to my yard, so there is minimal concern about pets being distracted or stressed by animals on the other side of the fence. I am a lifelong animal lover and currently share my home with a senior dog, whom I've raised since she was 8 weeks old, and a young cat who has been part of our family since he was 8 weeks old as well. Having cared for pets through every stage of life—from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets requiring extra attention—I understand that every animal has unique needs and routines. When your pet stays with me, they will be treated like a member of the family. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where they can feel at home while you're away. (Dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, etc.) I feed, walk, and medicate animals for coworkers, family, and friends just about everytime I'm home from school! I plan on working part-time, so I will have limited times during the day to walk your dogs, but I will have plenty of time to go over and feed, medicate, play, empty litter, etc., after or before my shifts! We've got a super big yard, so plenty of room to run around and play. My doggies at home use an electric fence, but I'm used to walking other dogs on a leash, no problem! Additionally, my pups get along well with other dogs, so no issues in regard to company and territory!
“I recently used Larrissa to walk my dogs , and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From the first interaction, it was clear they were professional and passionate about pets. **Communication:** They were very responsive to my inquiries and took the time to understand my dog's specific needs and routines. Even assisted me with using this app for the first. **Reliability:** My dog walker was always on time and even provided updates and pictures during walks, which made me feel reassured. **Care for My Dog:** My puppy dog, Banks is still getting to everything, but Larrissa handled him wonderfully. He came back happy and tired after the walk. I am watching the dogs now just snoozing on the cameras. **Flexibility:** They offered flexible scheduling options, accommodating my last-minute changes wit. Overall, I highly recommend her to anyone looking for trustworthy and loving care for their furry friend”

About: I am a former Animal Control Officer. I have 5+ years in the veterinary field and another 10+ years of experience in general animal welfare. I am comfortable with animal handling and giving medications. I have experience with many different breeds and ages, no fur friend too small or too tall! I am comfortable with rescue fur friends with special needs. Pet care is not only part of my daily routine at home with my own animals but my goal is to make pet care my full time job for others animals as well! I currently am working part time which gives me time to make sure your animals are well cared for and get plenty of attention throughout our time together! I am comfortable caring for your fur babies in whatever ways they are normally cared for. I appreciate and respect that everyone’s households run a little differently and I will do my best to make sure your pet doesn’t even notice that you’re away!
About: Hi, we’re Teona and Louie! We’re passionate about caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. With two gentle, well-socialized pups of our own, we know how important it is for dogs to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. We have hands-on experience with: • Puppy training & socialization – helping young dogs learn basic commands, crate training, and good manners. • Senior dog care – providing extra patience, gentle handling, medication administration, and accommodations for mobility or health needs. • Multi-dog households – managing playtime, feeding schedules, and safe introductions so everyone gets along. • Special care needs – whether it’s dietary restrictions, anxiety management, or post-surgery recovery. Our goal is to give owners peace of mind knowing their furry friends are in experienced, caring hands. I’m home most of the time, except for quick grocery trips. I’ll be available to give your dog plenty of attention and care throughout the day. We keep your pups active during the day so they’re ready to settle in at night. Dogs usually sleep in their room with their own bed or blanket (if provided), which keeps them safe and cozy. We have a separate room to ensure they’re comfortable and relaxed. Feel free to message us with any questions—we’d love to make sure both you and your pup feel at ease!
About: I have grown up with animals. Dogs and cats are at the top of the list. I've been around domesticated animals all of my life. My first kittens at my young age was two siames kittens Who had 2 litters of kittens as well as having to toy poodle dogs, that had two litters of puppies twice. I must have been about 10 so it was from then that I have been loving & caring for fur babies.. Though I do not Own a dog or a cat right now, but look forward to owning some in my future.. I currently own a guinea pig. I just recently experienced the end of a pug/fur baby end of life. I took care of the pug for his last six months of life. Soon after that I boarded a beautiful pitbull for the weekend of mother's day. So to book with me, i'm sure I will have you covered.. Because I am home during the day I am a great fit for you fur baby. I love on your Fur baby while you are on occasion or just I'll have an a fun day. Because I am located across from freedom park in James City County, Williamsburg. I feel i'm in a great place to be able to get them out to go for walks and just run and play.

About: I have experience with all animal types including dogs, cats, horses, livestock, birds, pocket pets and some reptiles. I am a licensed vet tech so I am also comfortable medicating animals that need it. I have 7 dogs and 3 cats, all of which are friendly with other animals. I will treat your pets as if they are my own no matter if they are being boarded or just going for a walk. Please feel free to ask any questions regarding your pets and their needs while you are working, vacationing, etc. I can care for pets early before work, mid-day and late after work. On weekends my schedule can be more flexible depending on what activities I have going on. Any dogs that come into my home will be treated as if they were my own. I have a fenced backyard for the dogs to play in. Boarding dogs will have their own room to hang out in.

About: I’ve been around cats and dogs since I was barely tall enough to see over a food bowl, and that lifelong hands-on experience shaped me into someone who naturally understands animal behavior, routines, and training. I’ve personally trained my own dogs and have always been deeply involved in their care, from daily structure to behavior shaping and enrichment. Right now I share my home with a cat who keeps life interesting, and I’m very attentive to creating a happy, stable environment for pets. Animals have always been a constant part of my life, and caring for them feels less like a task and more like second nature. 🐾 My schedule is pretty structured around my work hours: I work 4pm–12am, and outside of that I’m home and available for the rest of the day. I keep my routine simple and steady, and I’m usually around in the mornings and early afternoons before heading into work. I’m not someone who’s constantly on the go or juggling a million commitments—my life is more grounded in work, home, and taking care of my pets. That balance gives me a lot of consistency and time to focus on what matters day to day. I take safety and trust seriously when it comes to animals and their environment. In the past, I’ve crate-trained my dogs and learned how to create calm, structured routines that help them feel secure and well-behaved. I’m comfortable setting boundaries in a gentle but consistent way, depending on the needs of each pet. My home is also very pet-safe, especially because my current cat is extremely curious and determined to investigate everything. I’ve adapted my space to keep hazards out of reach and ensure it’s a safe, enriched environment where pets can explore without getting into trouble. I pay close attention to what they can access and how they interact with their surroundings, so safety is always built into the way I live with animals. 🐾

“Sandra and her family are great! Both of our dogs instantly felt comfortable with them and so did we. We found Sandra to be patient and kind to our boys and had no doubt they were in goods hands while we were away. She checked in with us often to let us know how they were doing. Great job Sandra!”

“Alyssa did an amazing job taking care of my dog Claire. She would send me update photos throughout my trip to ease my stress about how Claire was coping with us being gone. The difference between how happy Claire was when we returned proved that Alyssa is an incredible sitter and value compared to local kennels in the area.”
“Great experience with Victor and Abigail. They are very communicative and send regular updates on the activities of our pups. Super nice and the dogs came back happy and healthy!”

“Carly was an amazing sitter for our dog! Very responsible, flexible, and friendly with prompt communication. She gave us peace of mind and Shiv had a great time at her home while we were out-of-town.”
