About: I will never miss a chance to take a dog on a walk to doing a simple task like pets on the head. Usually you'll find me playing with the cat or dog when I'm by myself with the animal because they keep me company. I have several years of experience with hyper dogs or dogs who are more active so I know I can keep up with those breeds like golden retrievers or huskies. If that doesnt work a more quiet and less hyper active breed of cat or dog is fine with me. I can kind of doing everything when taking care of animals. I've had animals of all ages and most recently on the older side. I have a full time job so my schedule is pretty much set, sometimes it can vary week to week. Outside of work I dont have much going on so my free time can go towards being a sitter. Always keeping an eye on them is key and depending on the breed can require more attention. I also have some knowledge in animal cpr.

I have a male Golden doodle named Bo and a female Teddy Bear named Annie. I like to walk the dogs for two 30 minute walks a day. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom. When you leave your dog with me, you can expect a laid back day with frequent leash walks and lots of cuddling on the couch. I am at home full time, so I am able to give care and attention to your pets throughout the day and overnight if needed. My yard does not have a fence, so the dogs can only go out for leash walks. About: Hi! I’m home for the summer and excited to spend time doing something I love, caring for animals. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and I recently lost my own, which reminded me just how much animals mean to me. While I don’t have time for a full-time pet right now, I still stay involved by volunteering every week at a local animal shelter and helping care for the cat I live with at school. I also worked as a vet assistant for a year, so I’m experienced with pets of all ages and temperaments. Whether it’s dogs, cats, or anything in between, I’ll treat your pet with the same love and care I gave my own. I’m currently taking an online summer course with a very flexible schedule, so I’m available throughout the summer for pet sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits. About: I lived in a house with 4 dogs and I love them all. I walked them and took them on adventures. I believe dogs are a humans best friend! I currently work part time and want to get healthier. I figured while I try to get healthier it’s better to do it with a furry friend each day! I feed, bathe, and play with all of my doggos. I like to teach them new tricks. About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats for as long as I can remember! Growing up as an only child, our pets were my built-in best friends and caring for them was my responsibility from a young age. That love for animals has only grown with me. Over the years, friends and neighbors have trusted me to drop in, walk, and stay with their pets while they’re away, and I genuinely love getting to know each animal and their individual personality, routines, and quirks. These days, I’m a mom to a toddler and three very loved pets of my own, including my Golden Retriever, who is always happy to join me for a random walk during the day! I’d love to add a few more furry friends to my walking schedule and give them the same attention, patience, and affection I give my own. In our house, pets aren’t just pets, they’re family. I know how much trust it takes to leave a beloved pet in someone else’s care, and I’ll always treat yours with the same love and importance I would want someone to give mine. I work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout my day! I’m able to come and go as needed, so fitting walks, drop-ins, and visits into my daily routine is easy. I also have a great support system at home, which allows me to be flexible with scheduling and give your pets the time and attention they need. Because my work is remote, I can also bring it with me when needed! If your pet would benefit from a little extra company beyond a typical drop-in, I’m happy to settle in with my laptop and spend some additional time with them rather than rushing out the door. As a mom and pet owner myself, caring for both little humans and furry family members is already a big part of my everyday life. My child has been raised around animals and taught from the beginning to be gentle and respectful of their space. My schedule allows me plenty of freedom to make pet care a natural, and very welcome, part of my day! In our house, pet care is part of our everyday routine! I make sure fresh water is always available both upstairs and downstairs and changed daily, my cats’ food is checked and replenished each day, and my dog eats on a consistent twice-daily schedule. When I’m home, my dog gets a morning or afternoon walk, plenty of trips outside to our fenced backyard throughout the day, and usually a daycare day or two each week for some extra exercise and socialization. When I leave the house, I’m also very mindful of his safety, he stays comfortably downstairs with access to his bed and water, potential chewing hazards are put away, and toys that require supervision are never left out. I’d bring that same level of attention to caring for your pets! I know every animal and household has its own routine, so I’m happy to follow your feeding schedule, potty or litter box routine, walking preferences, playtime rules, and any other instructions that help your pet feel comfortable. Whether your pet thrives on a strict schedule or has their own wonderfully specific set of quirks, I want their routine to feel as normal as possible while you’re away.

“Christie was great - kept us informed, sent us videos and took plenty of time to get to know our doodle puppy and gave her plenty of exercise and love. Also, when a massive rainstorm hit just before pickup, she gave us some extra time to get which was greatly appreciated. She is caring and offered suggestions about diet and treats and worked with her on her first nite getting to sleep in a strange place. Her large doodle ended up being a great play buddy outside. We will use her again for sure.”
