My family adopted our first cat when I was in high school. Gru was a completely regal cat, happy to be waited upon, the king of the house. It wasn’t long after he joined the family that I absolutely fell head over heels for all of catkind. Soon Joey joined the family, happy to be second in command and Gru was happy to have an admirer. I went to school, moved away, but continued to care for the cats I came across. My sophomore year of college, I took in a cat I had found roaming the campus and found their owner. Years later, I spent time taking care of an elderly cat, taking her to the vet and helping with medications. That same family also had a cat with behavioral problems...he would pee on everything! About: I have taken care of dogs for over 20 years- I am great with all breeds and have a knack for training puppies (and older dogs too!) I am working from home and live right along a beautiful pet friendly park! I go on walks and runs throughout the day so love taking pups out with me! I ensure dogs are well taken care of and have experience administering different medications to dogs (including allergy injections) and following dietary restrictions or other needs. I show a lot of love and affection to pups and will keep them occupied and hopefully burn some of their energy playing and going on walks/runs!

My pup goes on a 30-60min walk or fetch in the fenced s hook fields near me around 7.30-8, eats around 10.30am with a quick walk outside soon after. She naps and is free to play. Last walk and dinner is around 6.30-7.30. Jade sleeps in her crate beside my bed. I’m able to give as much attention to her as needed because my schedule is flexible. I am very tidy and keep hazards away from the pups. I use dog-safe cleaning products. I also have a nest doorbell camera to monitor those coming and going. Plants are out of reach. About: I’ve loved dogs since as long as I can remember. As a kid, I was always the friend who would come over and play withy friend’s dogs as much as possible since we couldn’t have one due to allergies (my dad). I have plenty of experience taking care of dogs, as I got my own puppy in summer of 2022. My dog is super social/friendly with other dogs and loves to play all day long. I also frequently watch my friend’s dogs whenever they are out of town. You pup will be treated as if they are part of my family! I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, so your dog will be in good hands no matter what! Just let me know any specifics for care and I’ll be sure to take the best care of them! I primarily work from home during the week, so I’ll be around to watch your pup during the day and night! Weekends I am also available to watch the pups! I typically am flexible on whether I leave the dogs home alone and for how long, so just let me know what works for you! I live in a house with a fenced in yard and have one dog of my own who is very social around other dogs. There’s also quite a few parks/fields around me where I typically take my dog, so your pup can get plenty of exercise! We take our dog out 3-4 times a day, but can be flexible for your pets needs! We also have a crate if needed, but we do not crate our dog whenever we leave him at home. We do allow our dog on the furniture (even though he never snuggles us), but can be flexible for whatever you prefer. We also have a doggy camera to keep a close eye on the pups when we aren’t there.

To start, she’s super communicative and reliable, which makes it really easy to plan and coordinate walks and dogcare with her. She was also great about learning what behaviors we try to reinforce, Maya’s habits and routines and what Maya eats, which gives me the warm and fuzzies that as a parent, aunt Isabelle is staying consistent with dad’s rules. Isabelle is so great with dogs and has good judgment generally; seeing how she interacts with Maya and hearing her describe how Maya did on a given walk, I trust her implicitly. Lately she’s been really helpful in figuring out fun new walking routes or destinations that cater to Maya’s interests and mood and energy level. My dog Sophie immediately took to him and she would have great walks with him. I asked a lot from Daniel when I went on holiday…and he delivered! He came to my home for 10 days to not only walk my dog but also feed her…give her medicine, and as a bonus, he played with her. Socializing w Sophie went a long way because she was alone most of the time. He would always be on time and, when another dog walker canceled, he quickly covered that shift. No questions or higher charge. He sent a lot of photos too. Since I’ve been back from my holiday, I’ve been in poor health. I texted Daniel and he is now my dog walker on days when I’m unable to take Sophie out myself. Again, punctual & always thinking about what’s best for my dog…. For example, He remembers to dry Sophie’s paws when they arrive from a walk in the snow or rain. I highly recommend Daniel as your dog walker or sitter.”

“We were so happy with our experience with Helena and Nathan! After another Rover cancelled on us last minute, they fit us in and truly saved the day! Their yard was amazing - especially for our 95 lb mutt who just loves to run. And our little old man loved the cozy beds around the house. They sent pics and videos every day and our boys came back happy and healthy. As a bonus, while we have noticed our dogs often come back from Rovers smelling like a kennel, after a weekend with Helena and Nathan they came back smelling great!”

Leo can be picky about rain, lazy when it’s hot, and a little particular about his eating (clean dish every time!), but John handled everything so wonderfully. He made sure Leo got his walks (adjusting for weather!), gave him all the love, and kept us constantly updated with sweet photos and notes that really gave us peace of mind while we traveled.
