“This is an absolutely fantastic choice for a dog-sitter, in my mind. Leslie was loving, caring and she treated Frances, my terrier-dachshund with the closest and kindest attention—plenty of walks, balanced diet, happy human company to sleep with when she desired, and various places to rest—so Leslie passed those all those important measures.She also sent me photographs with comments fairly often, which delighted me and made me know that Frances was safe and happy! But then, of Great value was the fact that she always could find positive human companionship—her cousin came, and let Frances and another dog, sleep on his knee, looking utterly content, her roommate really liked Frances and showed it, and Leslie did too. AND there was always her dog, and then occasionally a neighbor’s dog or another client’s dog visiting for a number of hours. That was Heaven for Frances, and just what I was hoping for. A place where Frances could be, as Leslie put it, a member of a pack. NOT a large, in any way overwhelming pack, but a small pack, consisting of one or two or conceivably three other dogs, which she could be with. THAT and the essential human warmth which was very much present—was all I could dream of—and Leslie provided it. Thank you so, so much. I will definitely use her services again! Her regular photos and videos were thoughtful, and she clearly showed warmth and care for our cats. We booked and paid for a 3-night overnight house-sitting stay, but a few days before, she let us know she would not be staying overnight due to a scheduling conflict. That said, she spent several hours each day at the house as her schedule allowed, which we truly appreciated. Her kindness made communication pleasant. About: Hello! We’re Shannon and Jorge. We know how important it is to have a trustworthy dog-sitter, so we take the responsibility very seriously. Dogs love being at our house and enjoy all the cuddling and interaction they get here. We love dogs and try to make them comfortable and happy while they may be missing their owners. We’ve cared for so many different breeds, personalities, ages, a pregnant dog, and many puppies (including six that were born in our bathroom!) P.S. Chihuahuas are our favorite! I currently have two very high energy corgis but currently have a lot of time and love for more animals! About: I’ve had my Rottweiler, Robby, since 2018 and he’s been my best friend ever since. He’s big boy at 90lbs so I’ve had a lot of experience with larger breeds like him as well as smaller breeds because of my girlfriend’s Bischon Poodle. I feel like dogs truly deserve all the love in the world so I've been working at the Montgomery Country Animal Shelter walking dogs and doing overnight stays with them for the last 5 years. I even helped get a dog named Mercy adopted last year and that was one of my proudest moments. I am currently a full-time employee working at L3Harris. My hours are 8am to 5pm on weekdays but I also get every other Friday off. With your permission, I'd love to take your dog on a walk on trails in the Blacksburg area like the Huckleberry Trail. About: I have taken care of dogs, cats and more for several years. I am a huge animal lover and will treat your pets like they are my own. I work a full-time job with a flexible schedule and I work from home. I can adjust to your schedule and make almost anything work. I will treat your animals as though they are my own and ensure that everyone is well taken care of and that you get updates throughout our time together.
About: Grew up in a large family, always had dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, etc. in our house! I currently dog walk for a friend, 1x each week. I am currently an empty nester living with 2 spoiled grand-cats, inherited from grown children. Love to walk, love dogs! I am an empty nester, work remote from home and have a lot of time on my hands on a daily basis. I am big walker, averaging 20-26 miles per week. I can easily take on morning, noon and evening jobs. House sitting with pets is also an option. I have extreme flexibility to cater to my clients in their homes to walk, feed and take care of their fur babies. Overnights are considered as well.

“Jenny was amazing. To begin with, she and her family are just super nice. Jenny sent us pictures of our dogs every day taking walks and enjoying the home environment. The main thing that gets Jenny 5 stars is that our dogs are super attached to us and their daily routines, but when we picked them up, they were happy, content and not anxious at all. While we talked a bit, the dogs took turns going between us and Jenny and her husband to get attention. We could not have asked for them to be in better spirits after a full week away.
