I was a little worried about how my puppy would do with other dogs and children, but seeing her play with them before I left was so comforting. Most of the time, when I send Daisy somewhere, I feel sad knowing she’ll spend the majority of the time in a crate, but this was the complete opposite! Your pup would be right there along with us, relaxing and getting all kinds of love. I am a traveling dog photographer, and if I'm home I rarely leave as I travel enough when working haha! I offer overnight stays in my home specifically for: Elderly pups and pups of all ages with special needs (Under 40lbs) who would not do well in a boarding facility. Your pups would be the center of attention in the house while they were here. We do have cats in the house, so please let us know if your pup has any issues with smaller animals. If so, we can still accommodate them, we would just have them in our dog-only area! I have a 'dog room' at home with a couch for relaxing and reading or gaming/watching Disney+ on our large screen TV, an echo dot that will play calming classical music while I am out of the room, and a padded floor with lots of rugs around for the older pups. When we aren't hanging out in that room, our house has hardwood floors with many rugs to keep paws stable, and tons of dog beds(of all sizes) scattered around for comfort. For potty times, I have a spacious fenced-in yard with plenty of shade! Meal times are at your pet's schedule! I make sure to follow any feeding and medication schedules you provide. My husband works from home, so if I am delayed due to traffic from an errand or such, he can let the pups out to potty or give time-sensitive medications/feedings. Pups are crated or placed in a separate room for Meal times and during Potty rotations to ensure no one gets too rowdy and no one becomes aggressive over their food. If I am with your dogs they are my first priority. I am laid back and very flexible. I take the care of your best friend very serious. I try to keep your dog on the same schedule that you keep them on, although they may get longer walks and more belly and shoulder rubs with me.
About: I've constantly been around pets, especially dogs since I was little and I absolutely adore them! I dogsit for my moms friends all the time as well! I currently work at a resturant in the evenings, but ill have plenty of time before work and on off days to take care of the pets! I can sit and play with them when I stop in, I can feed them if needed and make sure they have plenty of water as well as take them out to potty.
About: I grow up in a farm and that gave me large experience taking care of all kind of animals, I have had different kind of dogs breed as owner and care giver. Right now I have a 2 acres property where the dogs can run and play all day long. Im at home full time so I can take care of your dogs necessities. “Hillary and her family are amazing! We live about 40 minutes away, but as soon as we got there, we immediately felt like their land was a perfect place for dogs to play. So, it was worth the drive! Hillary was so kind and her kids were very friendly. Daisy felt comfortable in their home right away. She had another puppy staying there over the weekend and her own dog Joshua. I was a little worried about how my puppy would do with other dogs and children, but seeing her play with them before I left was so comforting. Hillary has a background in puppy training and I could tell just by how she interacted with Daisy and the other pup. Hillary was great with communication and sent pictures every day! Daisy always looked happy and having a wonderful time! Most of the time, when I send Daisy somewhere, I feel sad knowing she’ll spend the majority of the time in a crate, but this was the complete opposite! Daisy basically got a vacation while we were gone. Haha. Thank you, Hillary! We really appreciate you!”

About: I've always had pets growing up as a child, most being rescues from the neighborhood. My passion and love for animals has grown into my adulthood making me a very enthusiastic animal lover who desires to help all different types of animals. My experience in pet care varies from having pets of my own, watching and caring for friends and families pets and currently, my job working with dogs at a Peaks View Animal Hospital! I have cared for pets of all ages. Including bottle feeding kittens and puppies to giving medication to senior pets. I am currently working a part time job at Peaks View Animal Hospital. I would have plenty of time to play and care for your pets! I would be available for boarding Thursday-Sunday! I am also available for drop ins and walks Thursday-Sunday as well! I live in downtown Lynchburg and have an outdoor terrace available for your pups to sunbathe and play. I also live close enough to the trails to take your pups on nice shady walks! If your pet needs to be crated, I also have an XL crate available for use at my home!
