“Lauren was great! She was very flexible with drop off timing and transparent with everything. My dog had a skin tag that burst on our way there, which had never happened right before dropping him off at a sitter. I tried my best to stop the bleeding, but I eventually had to drop him off with them. I was very worried that he'd be a burden or get their home dirty but they were very understanding. They reassured me that they could handle it and their updates definitely eased my anxiety! Also, what was sweet to know about his stay is that their young son loved my dog and they slept together for the night. My pup adores cuddles so I just know he got all the attention he needed! Overall, I would recommend Lauren and would definitely book her again :)”

“I can’t say enough good things about how well Maya was cared for. The night before I dropped her off, I had taken Maya on a hike, and in hindsight, not checking her thoroughly for ticks afterward wasn’t the smartest decision on my part. The morning after her first night with Whitney, she discovered that Maya had a significant number of ticks on her. She immediately texted me to let me know what was going on, especially since she had a two-year-old and other dogs in the house and understandably needed to be careful. I was traveling and tried to arrange for friends to pick Maya up, but unfortunately, I couldn’t make that happen. She could easily have told me I needed to find another solution, but instead, she went completely above and beyond. She went out, got tick shampoo and treatment, gave Maya a thorough bath, dealt with the ticks, and made sure she was comfortable and well cared for. It was a stressful situation that she didn’t create, but she handled it with so much patience, responsibility, and genuine care for Maya. Being away, it meant a lot knowing that someone was willing to step up and take care of her when I couldn’t be there. I’m incredibly grateful and would absolutely trust her with Maya again. Flexible schedule, with willingness to negotiate certain times. Own 1 dog of my own, and have always had a dog in the house. I do not have any prejudice against specific dog breeds. Friendly personality, easy-going, and willing to match any dogs energy levels. Any restrictions, such as food or physical, are able to be accommodated and discussed. Possibility of last-minute scheduling, but be mindful of possible conflicts. I would need to know if the dog has any history of violence or biting, as that is a key factor for me to plan. I am a freelancer and have no major commitments that require my attention so I am able to fit pet sitting into my schedule very easily. I am able to do walks short or long, play dates, travel, medications, crating, dietary challenges, and most requirements that would come up for a pets needs.

About: Dogs have always been part of our life and are treated as a member of the family. When in our house the dogs are allowed on furniture and we will treat them as they were our dog. We welcome calls to check up on your animal while they are staying with us. We will give them plenty of attention and someone will be around in the house to make sure they are doing well. About: I have had dogs since I was a toddler and have grown up caring for them. I currently have one of my own (8yrs) who is my entire world. I currently work full time for a consulting firm but I am looking to do pet care part time. My weekends are usually open and weeknights are also pretty flexible. Pet sitting is my way of stopping myself from getting another dog. I love spending time with all animals, but especially in places where they feel comfortable. About: Hello! I am 23 years old and when I was 15-17 I helped train dogs including a service dog. I love all dogs and will always love your dog as well! I am looking for any opportunities that involve dog walking or dog sitting! I do not have my own dog but would love to have a golden retriever later in life! “Lauren was great! She was very flexible with drop off timing and transparent with everything. My dog had a skin tag that burst on our way there, which had never happened right before dropping him off at a sitter. I tried my best to stop the bleeding, but I eventually had to drop him off with them. I was very worried that he'd be a burden or get their home dirty but they were very understanding. They reassured me that they could handle it and their updates definitely eased my anxiety! Also, what was sweet to know about his stay is that their young son loved my dog and they slept together for the night. My pup adores cuddles so I just know he got all the attention he needed! Overall, I would recommend Lauren and would definitely book her again :)”

“I can’t say enough good things about how well Maya was cared for. The night before I dropped her off, I had taken Maya on a hike, and in hindsight, not checking her thoroughly for ticks afterward wasn’t the smartest decision on my part. The morning after her first night with Whitney, she discovered that Maya had a significant number of ticks on her. She immediately texted me to let me know what was going on, especially since she had a two-year-old and other dogs in the house and understandably needed to be careful. I was traveling and tried to arrange for friends to pick Maya up, but unfortunately, I couldn’t make that happen. She could easily have told me I needed to find another solution, but instead, she went completely above and beyond. She went out, got tick shampoo and treatment, gave Maya a thorough bath, dealt with the ticks, and made sure she was comfortable and well cared for. It was a stressful situation that she didn’t create, but she handled it with so much patience, responsibility, and genuine care for Maya. Being away, it meant a lot knowing that someone was willing to step up and take care of her when I couldn’t be there. I’m incredibly grateful and would absolutely trust her with Maya again.
