“Michelle was AMAZING with my dog. My dog is a special needs dog. (He can't do stairs, has anxiety accidents, needs medication, etc.) I so rarely leave my dog with anyone else because of this. But Michelle didn't make any of his needs feel like a burden. Her and her family were so warm toward him and very attentive to his idiosyncrasies. He got along with the kids, who were sensitive to his need to warm up to people. He ran around the house and was so happy to be there with the family. Michelle sent updates multiple times a day with pictures/videos and a report on how he was doing: if he went to the bathroom, what he ate, and what his mood was like. About: I've loved dogs for the longest time and ever since I've had my own, you quickly realize they are more than a pet, they are family. My dog and I will treat your dog just like family during their visit. I succeeded well in training my dog on my own from house training, to off leash, to playing hide and seek, and I understand the important component of upholding and instilling any of your training while you're not present. As of June 30th, I no longer work remotely, but work very close to home. I still will have plenty of time to give your pup comfort and attention throughout the day. I am available most weekdays and weekends, but may become more limited depending on the season. I have 1 dog, a small Yorkshire Terrier who is known as Mr. President because he loves to greet and befriend each pet or person he sees, no matter the size. He is super friendly and playful and would love to be a great friend and playmate with your pup. I can easily crate your dog if needed with one you provide or with one of my own crates or expandale play pens. My yard is open, but there is plenty of space for fun. I enjoy long walks, so if your pup needs to get in multiple miles, I can make that happen. I have a multi level townhome. Dogs are allowed anywhere in the home except for the kitchen. If your dog loves the outdoors, i have a small deck and a small enclosed front balcony they can hang on. There are plenty of toys and puzzles, but you are of course welcome to provide their favorite toy.

Meaning, dogs that continually pull excessively while on leash, will either receive short potty breaks, or only “fenced-in” activities. This will be agreed upon at initial encounter. My dog has a strict routine as I believe taking care of pers works better with a specific schedule. He wakes up, gets fed, gets taken out, is given treats, among everything else at the same time. In addition, we spend some time outside in the afternoon during lunch. In the evening, he’s fed and taken back out for a bit. I’m off on weekends and have two additional days off during the week (those days vary), so my schedule is pretty flexible. On my days off, I love spending time walking dogs, checking in on pets, and making sure they’re happy, loved, and well cared for. Even on my workdays, I’m available for morning, evening, or quick mid-day visits depending on your needs. I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since I was a teenager, and I currently share my home with four amazing dogs and three sweet cats that I love dearly. About: I’ve had dogs growing up and had to take care of them a lot as well as having experience as a kennel tech over some summers! I’m currently off over the summer while school is out so my availability is very open. I can take care of your pets when ever you need me. I have an apartment that I am more than happy having pets stay in however there is no yard. I am happy to stay with them and house sit.
