“I booked Chris to watch over my disabled pup while I was away for a week. Not only is Chris a wonderful, kind, and polite person but he was also attentive to my boy’s every need. Chris maintained the strict schedule I gave him including daily medications and ample playtime to ensure my dog was happy and healthy while he was away from my care. Chris was responsive to my messages and even sent picture updates completely unprompted. I was never left wondering how my pup was doing because Chris went out of his way to constantly update me. After seeing the property Chris resides on, I was comforted to know that my dog would have plenty of room to run around and get his energy out. Chris’s own dogs were friendly and very excited to meet a new friend which I viewed as a great opportunity for my own dog to increase his socialization skills. I’ll be the first to tell you that I am extremely wary of who I allow to care for my boy and I can say, without hesitation, that I was impressed with the intention and gentleness Chris gave my pup. About: I have many years of pet sitting, up to several pets at a time, including owning many of my own since I was a child. I am patient when meeting new pets, for I understand it may take time to warm up to new people (and other pets!) I’m friendly, and talk to most animals just like they’re humans (lol). I enjoy spending time playing around, going for runs, as well as providing companionship when around pets. We love snuggling in bed over here! I’m not easily intimidated by a shy pet, and will treat them with the same respect and patience as their owners. I have high expectations for my own, so I believe it is only normal and natural to give the same in return for others’ pets so their families are comfortable with who they leave their furry friends with when away. My boy is the friendliest dog ever! He absolutely loves meeting other dogs (and the owners to receive even more affection 🤣). He’s got a lot of energy, which can overwhelm others the first day (he just wants to play!) He is very gentle with small dogs. When meeting others’ on the first day, If they are uncomfortable with his energy level and show they need time to warm up, he immediately backs off and resorts to my side until they are ready. He is very submissive in this sense which is great for no escalation and providing other dogs with the time they need to adjust to a new setting/new friends. I work a full time day job Monday-Friday 8-4, so please be sure prior to requesting services, your pets are able to accept this schedule. I am unfortunately unable to stop in midday as my lunch break does not allow for me to make it very far under 30 minutes. My pets along with the others’ I have boarded have had no issues with a routine working schedule, but every pet has different needs. ❤️ I care for others’ pets like they are my own! It is my duty as a trusted sitter to care for others’ pets in a way they need. I predominantly care for pets in others homes as I have several pets of my own. I do not have any issue with camera systems being in shared spaces to assure families feel safe having someone in their home with their pets.

About: I have always been around all kinds of animals, and I worked with Bully Paws Pit Bull Rescue for many years. At one point I had 5 Pit Bulls, and they were my daughter’s best friends. Now that I am dog free, I miss having a furry friend around. Currently, I have two cats. I work from home day except Wednesday. Due to my flexible schedule, I am able to cater to your pets needs to make sure they are getting the love they need. I have a fenced back yard and a great neighborhood to walk in. I work from home, so I am always at your pet's beck and call. At your home, I can work as needed and spend time with your pet in the comfort of their own home.

About: Hello hello! My name is Jocelyn, and I’m a 20-year-old dog lover that recently picked up petsitting in December! 😋🫶🏽 Until last year, I’d grown up with pets my entire life. Since my last childhood Pitbull, Roxy (one out of three total dogs) passed away last July, it’s been difficult adjusting to life without them to share it with me. My schedule feels hollow and incomplete after having spent the last four years with two senior dogs. Those four years have given me experience waking up both late and early to tend to a pet’s many needs, and stay up as long as needed to ensure their safety and wellbeing. Living in a house of dog lovers, your pet(s) will be both well-cared for and showered with love all throughout their stay. 💕 Having our late girl’s passing so recent, we still have all the living necessities available for use if need be. This includes pet beds, food/water bowls, functional kennels, poop bags, and a couple toys. We adore our dogs, and are ready to cherish yours just as much before they return back into your loving arms. Petsitting will provide peace of mind for both me and my clients. Whether you’re away for a short or extended period, rest assured your pet(s) stay with us will be easygoing, well communicated, and overall an experience to remember! 😁 I’m currently hunting for a full-time position outside of Rover. When I eventually enter the workforce, petsitting will likely become a background gig I can no longer give my full attention to. Since it’ll be my first ever job, adapting to a new schedule will cause me to become heavily split between sleep, work, and my own physical health, which would conflict with petsitting until I’d find a decent balance. More info will come when I get a job! 😄 Our family and neighborhood is strict about leashes, so despite our open deck and yard, while outside your pet will NEVER be without a leash or left unattended. Provided collar and leashes would be appreciated! We have a room designated for crates in case of emergencies, and will not hesitate to use them in the unlikely circumstance that we need them. Our lives were once surrounded by two pitbulls and a chihuahua that we showered with love daily. Expect that your pet(s) will be treated as if they were our own! ❤️

About: I have always had a dog for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and I love them. We currently have two dogs. I have a male Golden doodle named Bo and a female Teddy Bear named Annie. I like to walk the dogs for two 30 minute walks a day. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom. I have a 7 year old, 10 year old, 13 year old and 16 year old at home. Everyone loves dogs. We have a routine with the dogs and they are part of the family. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I am a firm believer that dogs need to be walked. I walk my dogs for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon on a walking path behind my house. I keep jingle bells on my door and my dogs ring them to go outside to potty. I have options to separate dogs if necessary. Dogs are separated at feeding time.

About: Aside from having pets since childhood, including farm animals, I also have professional experience. I started working at a kennel at age 22 with tasks such as bathing, walking, training and playtime supervision. I was in charge of 15 dogs at a time. I then moved on to vet care for 3 years learning animal health and behavior. I work from home and very available for pets needs and provide individual care as needed. I have a great understanding of pet behavior and react accordingly. My dogs get let out at least 4 times daily.All dogs in my home can free roam and only caged if requested by owner either nightly or while I'm out. The privacy fenced in yard provides a safe place to play.

About: I’ve taken care of pets for as long as I can remember. I work full time at a grooming salon as a pet bather. And I have experience working at an animal hospital and a pet sitting company. I’m able to watch any sized dog and any age from puppies to seniors. I also offer simple grooming services! I regularly take multiple dogs on hikes for at least 1 hour and am used to watching large groups of dogs at a time I’m currently working full time, 5 days a week. I am free all day Tuesday, and Sunday. But I’m also free after 4pm any other day . I can pet sit overnight any day and do drop in visits in the morning, evening, and at night. I am unable to board dogs at my own home but at a clients home I can take your dogs for both short and long walks. I can even take them to a park for a nature hike. I will feed them at their scheduled times and if wanted by owners I can crate them. If medication is needed I am comfortable with giving it to them. I will give them plenty of love and lots of playtime. If wanted I can also give nail trims, brushing, ear cleaning and baths as I work full time as a pet bather.
About: Since I was young I've been a fan of animals, my family has owed several, And its been my joy to take care and nurture them. Ive been taking care of pets for a long time and in that I've learned alot about how to care for, treat, and love lots of different kinds of animals, Dogs especially but I am not a stranger to the feline kind, I am experienced with small and larger dogs, as well as dogs with more nervous or flights temperaments. If you choose me to take care of your furry companion I will do everything to make sure they are happy, healthy, and safe in my care. I like to spend extra time on walks or sitting with my clients fur babies to make sure they are comfortable and having a fun time with me. If they seem unsure I dont push them, I give them a little space. For eating I always assure if there's more than one animal they eat apart from each other to ensure no one gets too possessive over their food. Safe, comfortable, and fun are all important when thinking of your pet.
About: Hi! I’m home for the summer and excited to spend time doing something I love, caring for animals. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and I recently lost my own, which reminded me just how much animals mean to me. While I don’t have time for a full-time pet right now, I still stay involved by volunteering every week at a local animal shelter and helping care for the cat I live with at school. I also worked as a vet assistant for a year, so I’m experienced with pets of all ages and temperaments. Whether it’s dogs, cats, or anything in between, I’ll treat your pet with the same love and care I gave my own. I’m currently taking an online summer course with a very flexible schedule, so I’m available throughout the summer for pet sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely, feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions, so they stay comfortable and happy while you’re away. About: I’ve taken care of dog for the last three years. I’m very trust worthy and compassionate when it comes to dogs, friends and family trust me with there pets I’m currently working during the week, but I’m available every weekend and also every Friday after 4:00 pm so I’ll have plenty of time to play with animals on weekends. I have a wide opened smoke free apartment so the pets could run freely and be comfortable. There is plenty of out door space also with a nature trail to walk.

About: I have owned multiple dogs in my adulthood. I currently own a 4 year old golden who I have personally trained, and a 1.5 year old who I work with every day. I have worked at a dog day care for 5 months where I learned more about dog body language and how to diffuse any fights. I have walked and babysat dogs for friends. I consider all dogs to be my friends, because there is no such things as a bad dog. I work 12 hour night shifts Friday-Sunday. I am completely available Monday-Thursday. Because my weeks are so open then I can spend more time taking care of pups who may need extra walks. I have a friendly golden retriever who is 4 years old. She loves to play! She does great with other dogs (she used to have a brother) but also knows how to cuddle and chill. Hazel is 1.5 years old and still has crazy puppy energy. Neither walk without a treat bag in hand to keep training a daily activity.
