She's tentatively agreed to shorter stays to get Poppy used to being away from me. It is important to trust your dog-sitter to be kind and patient with your dog and I trust Cassandra. She sent me a number of texts during the two days to keep me informed of what was happening. I rate her communications very high and the overall experience very high also. Her dog accommodations are very good: a small, heated room for the dog and a fenced area for exercise. The fence is sturdy with no places for a dog to go through or under.”

About: I did housesitting for several years with my brother's St. Bernard dog as you see on my profile picture. Last year, I housesat for three cats. Recently I did housesat for a dog over spring break. I owned a dog and several cats in the past. About senior care, I owned and took care of an older cat. I'm currently working as a teacher at school which ends on May 23rd then I can do it anytime since my other job as crisis counselor allows me to work at home. I need a good WIFI. I used leash for dogs when taking them on walks. For cats, it depends on owner. Some cats are outdoors or indoors. I make sure they go potty and have play time. I know cats are super picky about their litters so poops must be scooped out. I use bag to pick up dog poop. I try to find out what animals likes to do and spend time with them.

About: I grew up in a family that always had dogs and cats (and fish and ferrets and more!). I inherited my brothers cat who was older than I was! No one knew she was blind, I had to teach her how to play, and cared for her until her natural passing at age 26. Now I'm the go-to for family, friends, and in-laws for pet-sitting. Dogs are the most common but I've loved helping friends out with caring for their cats, guinea pigs, bunnies, and even birds - I really do appreciate all critters! I believe it's important for sitters and carers to be able to read the animals they're caring for and respond appropriately - it's easy for most folks to communicate with and understand dogs or super friendly cats, but I'm also ready to let the animals set their own boundaries and slow-blink at them from a comfortable space. About: I have extensive experience as a pet owner. I have owned dogs as small as 10 pounds and as large as 110 pounds and everything in between. I still own a dog, she is a Smooth Collie and friendly and docile as can be. I do not remember a time in my life where there was not at least one dog in it, and I have owned as many as 4 dogs and 3 cats at one time. I absolutely love dogs and cats and am very aware of their body language since they can't speak the same way we do. I enjoy hiking and, if it is nice out, would most likely be taking our dogs on an easy hike at least once per day. I currently work from home, therefore, I can take them out for walks as needed, or just because we feel like going out to play for a bit. If at my home, I can go for frequent walks, take them to a dog park to play (if ok with the owner), and/or hikes.

I have a large fenced in yard for the animals to run around in. Two cats who also roam the yard and house and doesn't pay much mind to the other animals and are pretty good at avoiding dogs that are to interested in them! There are also several chickens that free roam during the day, but if your furry one struggles with them they wont mind spending some extra time in the coop! We have anywhere from 2-9 kids in the home or yard that also will give your furry loved one love and attention all day long! They are allowed anywhere we are! That means the bed, the couch, the bathroom floor, wherever is the most comfortable for them we don't mind!

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals my whole life, both big and small dog breeds, cats, bunnies, and horses. I’ve trained multiple different dog breeds. We have crates for training or laying around in as well !:) my three dogs are all very well trained and behaved and have been meeting and playing with other dogs ever since they were babies so they are very well socialized as well!:) if your doggy gets dirty from all the fun? no worries, because we have a special doggy bath to clean them in ! My goal is to always return your pup looking well groomed and loved on and excersized !
About: I am looking to do more of what I love! I am 28 and live in Nashville. I have male golden retriever named, Apollo and kitty, Artemis. He is very sweet ,friendly, and always looking to make new friends as is my kitty cat. I am experienced with walking, playing, feeding, grooming, and medicating cats and dogs as needed. I live in Nashville near dog parks that are perfect to adventure on with your pups. I am passionate about taking great care of your animal(s) like they are our own while you are away! Anything your cat or dog needs is possible: fresh cat grass, homemade dog treats, laser tag, Dog Television or music, tug a war, putting on coats and booties, brushing teeth, etc. I hope to hear from you soon! I would love the opportunity to take care of your furchilden! I am available evenings and weekends mostly however, sometimes I am available during the day throughout the week as well. “My dog was a special case, a large Rottweiler female that had never been away from me. Cassandra was very patient, not to mention brave, but there was only so much she could do with her. She did the right thing. A lot of people would throw up their hands and say, "Never again," but she seems open to the possibility of future attempts. She's tentatively agreed to shorter stays to get Poppy used to being away from me. It is important to trust your dog-sitter to be kind and patient with your dog and I trust Cassandra. She sent me a number of texts during the two days to keep me informed of what was happening. I rate her communications very high and the overall experience very high also. Her dog accommodations are very good: a small, heated room for the dog and a fenced area for exercise. The fence is sturdy with no places for a dog to go through or under.”

He is used to playing with my kids, and her kids kept him busy and entertained. He was happy and seemed to have a great time!
