About: Hello there! My name is Sofía, and I can’t wait to care of your pet! Here are some things you should know about me : I have one dog living with me. I have volunteered at animal shelters, wildlife rescue facilities, and animal therapy organizations. When volunteering at shelters, I bathed dogs, cleaned up their poop, played with, and walked them as well as played with cats. Additionally, I enjoy outdoor activities very much, so I am definitely in shape to walk your dogs and play with them. I hope I can be of service to you and your dog(s). My backyard is unfenced, except for the patio area and a room sized square for dogs to pee/poop in. Dogs are not allowed on furniture, but they can be on the bed if they stay on top of the blanket. If you know your dog won’t run away, we can play in the unfenced area of the backyard :) I do have a 30 ft leash that I normally use to play with my dog outside. I work a few hours during the week, 2:30-6pm from Monday to Friday, but I am usually available outside of this chunk of time (plus traveling time). I will care for your pets however is needed and instructed. I have taken care of multiple senior dogs and dogs that take oral medication.

About: Growing up with a veterinarian mother, we always had multiple pets in the home! When I was 22 I adopted my soulmate, Peaches. Five years later, she was diagnosed with heart failure at a terrifying hospital visit. My quick (panicked) reaction, and the incredible doctors, saved her life. About: I've had a lot of pets in my life. I currently have 6 dogs and 3 cats. I have experience with reactive dogs and dog selective dogs. I deal mostly with large and extra large dogs but have owned medium and small dogs. I've worked for a boarding kennel before so I have some professional experience with that. I am also a current foster to shelter dogs so I see different breeds and personalities all the time. I work a full time job. I work nights so I'm usually available during the day early mornings and evenings on the days I work. I can always find a way to make it work. I have dogs that do not get along with other dogs or people. I am very used to a crate and rotate schedule and I'm very conscious of my dogs mood and behavior. About: I have been working part time with Rover for several years. I recently had to put my 13-year-old lab down, so I do not currently have any pets. If they prefer to sleep or rest or are more shy, I am happy to just be around and pet them/brush them if they would like or just give them space. I am happy to care for other pets if requested and I am comfortable with the care instructions. I have previously cared for a tortoise, which mainly consisted of feeding him and giving him water.
