Ike isn't neutered so past boarder stays meant interacting only with staff which really stressed him out. Cheyenne picked up and dropped off Ike and updated me with pictures which really put me at ease. Ike was able to be with other dogs and when she dropped him off, he was a totally different fella from his boarder stays. He was not lethargic for five days but instead, energetic and happy. About: Hello my name is Cayla. I’m from Houston, Tx and I've been an animal lover my whole life. I’ve raised other animals in FFA for my high school years while alson having other house hold pets within the years ( rabbit, turtle, dogs, and fish). I’m choosing to do Rover so I can build clientele and so I can expand my knowledge on dogs outside my pit bull and a few other breeds I’ve dealt with within my family and friends. Hopefully I’m someone you’ll love and trust around your home and your four-legged best friend. I do work from home and only work 4 days out the week so it's no hassle making sure everything and everyone is doing great. During the booking process I do ask for a routine so I can keep everything consistent. I do have doggie treats, extra blankets, training pads, and doggie toys I keep on stand by. In the morning I will open cages and let them move around freely aslong as im home and awake. If they need medication I have no problem giving it to them aswell, I do work from home so that will not be an issue.

I have plenty of bowls and plenty of crates (XS, S, M, L, XL & XXL) including a 3 tier crate (for cats) if needed. My schedule is flexible, I'm almost always home. If weather permits, I enjoy going out for long hikes or going to parks/neighborhood for walks. ** Boarding & Housesitting - I'm available 7 days a week. The potty break/meal schedule is flexible on my end. They can go out often for potty breaks, to explore, fetch, and enjoy the sun as they please. Also, will provide outdoor play with engagement of other pups and can do some training as well. ** Housesitting - I will spend the nights with them. Sometimes I will be away for a few hours unless you instruct me for a specific time, such as how long it is ok to leave your pets alone, I will follow your preference. They are welcome to tag along for the ride if they enjoy car rides. -- During my free time I volunteer as a pet rescue member with Trapping, Rescue and Pet Recovery Service (TRAPRS), a non-profit organization. I have been with TRAPRS since they were founded in 2019. When I'm scheduled to pet sit, I will not be available to do a rescue. Only time I'll be away is if someone is able to secure an animal, Ill be out for a quick scan for microchip or if I'm scheduled to drop-in to visit other clients' homes. (I want to be transparent about what I do). I know it can be stressful leaving your family member with a stranger, but you can be confident that your furbaby/ies will be treated as one of the family; given plenty of love, hugs, belly scratches, treats, play time and walks during their stay. I have a fenced yard for your pup(s) to explore, do their business, enjoy the fresh air & flirt with the sun, and play fetch. I will send photos and videos of your furbaby having a great time! I live on 5 acres but we have fenced off an area behind our house for our dog and goats. I have a plastic kid pool to help them stay cool in the summer. I typically feed my pets twice a day and a treat mid-day. My house can get pretty loud with my kids yell and screaming when then play. My kids are 10 yr (son) and 9 yrs(daughter) old, I have a husband who loves to play with the kids and dog, it can get a little crazy at our house. I also have a 7 month old mini Australian shepherd, she is a shy girl at first but then gets crazy when she decides she likes you. I have 5 cats some like dogs and some tolerate them and just judge. I also have 2 goats in the backyard, they are very nice but will give a warning if something happens that they don't like. All my pets have vaccines and have been dewormed.

My yard is spacious with new grass and a covered patio to provide both sunny and shaded play areas. The price listed is for a 24 hour stay for a dog weighing up to 44 lbs. It would be $35 for a dog weighing 45-94 lbs. Having undergone advanced screening, I have been met face-to-face and my home has been inspected. I look forward to meeting you and your dog(s)!

About: I’ve had pets since I was child and absolutely love animals. My kids have developed the same passion. We love taking care of animals as a family and have a few rescues of our own. Tito is our chihuahua who loves other small dogs. Our cats, Binx and Lizzie are tolerant of dogs and are use to having them around. I’m a stay at home mom to three kids. Except for the occasional outing or trip to the grocery store, we are just about always home. We have a very large fenced in back yard, so your pup will have plenty of room to play. Feel free to reach out with any questions, and I hope that you consider us to care for your fur babies. ❤️ Pickup and drop off is by appointment only. You can make an appointment for between the hours of 8am-6pm. Your appointment window cannot be greater than one hour. If you miss your drop off window by more than 15 minutes, the booking will be cancelled, and no refund given. If you are more than 15 minutes late picking up, you will have to reschedule your pickup time, if that means your pet stays another night, then you will be charged for an additional night plus a $30 inconvenience fee. I understand that things happen, and will work with you when unexpected events arise, but I’ve had too many people not respecting my time. I thank you for understanding. (: I follow care instructions completely. I give each animal one on one attention throughout the day. I treat them like they’re one of my kids. My children are very respectful of animals and are never left unsupervised with them.

There are two children in the home, so pets who are okay with kids are preferred! Able to give meds or any other tasks for your pet! I have a large back yard that is fenced in and safe. I am able to use a crate if you would like, but it is not necessary for our home. We recently lost our precious boy River, due to his liver disease and we miss his presence tremendously. So having other pets over truly helps keep us going and having a boost of morale. With that being said, we will give your pet 100% of our attention at all times. You can trust your pet will be supervised and cared for all day. At least one of us is always home to supervise when we are dog sitting so your pet is never alone. We have a small dog park at our complex for some outdoor fun time, and can provide daily walks as well to ensure they get more exercise! We have made our home safe for your dog keeping certain things out of reach. I can update you regularly with picture updates as well!

About: I've always had dogs growing up and have 2 now. I have watched my family’s and friends' while they're out of town. I'm familiar with small and large dogs, giving medication, hyper dogs, and slightly aggressive dogs. I work monday - friday, mostly 8-5! I am available for both weekdays and weekends and will try to work with whatever your schedule is. My fiance is able to watch our pets which allows me to stay as long as you'll need. I have 2 large dogs and a cat so I'm not able to watch your pets at my house but can make sure they're happy at home while you're away.

If you feel comfortable having the pet at my home, I do live in a gated community with plenty of area for walks and outside time! My home is currently run by a cat named James Alexander Malcolm Mackenzie Fraser (bonus points if you know who that is) and he could not care less about dogs so he'll just deliver the constant side eye. I am very comfortable administering medicine if needed (including injections) I do require some form of flea and tick prevention - whether that be Nexgard, Seresto collar, or essential oils.
About: I've had animals since I was a girl and haven't been without a pet since I was 10 years of age. Have had multiple dogs and cats at one time but now down to one 13-yr old male. Will always love and have pets as they are an integral part of my life. I derive much joy from their presence. Daily walks and attention to my own dog and look in on friend's dogs when they're away. My dog has his own bed for daytime but sleeps in my bed at night. I have a good sense about animals and will follow the routine they're used to. I love to connect with any animal if they want it and will give cuddles and rubs for comfort and love ❤️
About: I have worked with small dogs and big dogs and nervous dogs- I have owned my own doggo (a shih tzu bichon mix for 10 years) since I rescued her from a poodle shelter. I have worked as an assistant training emotional support animals at a rehabilitation facility (: I would love to hang out with your doggo babies when you need me! I am an early riser and work part-time in pet care. It is my primary job- I have regular clients that are my own aside of rover so my calendar on app may be inaccurate. We have a large fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to run, play, and sniff around safely. I have a mini blue heeler of my own who’s great company for social dogs, and I’m happy to keep visiting pets separated if yours does better solo (only have her occasionally). I stick closely to the feeding, medication, and walking routine you provide, keep dogs leashed on every outing, and send photo and video updates so you always know how your best friend is doing. If your dog is crate-trained, I’m comfortable using one for rest or bedtime.

About: I grew up in an animal shelter. Sounds crazy right? Well, it's true. My mom has always worked around animals(and still does) so I was always right by her side. I currently work part time in VetMed so my schedule is fairly flexible. I have a small hobby farm of my own with several different types of pets that I love caring for. However, I love working with other pets and providing an established routine and relationship, as well. I will be available most weekdays and some weekends. I care for pets in my home/client’s home as if they were my own. They are allowed on furniture/beds if the owner is okay with this. I have doggy gates for separation of other animals if needed. Pets are never left unattended in my home. If I must leave for any reason, your pet must be kenneled in my home. In your home, I will adhere to your routine and guidelines of course.

Ike isn't neutered so past boarder stays meant interacting only with staff which really stressed him out.
