Tejas has separation anxiety and had some runny stools. Lezlie communicated with us immediately and took first steps to help Tejas feel comfortable. First asking our consent, she made Tejas a special diet meal with broth, pumpkin, and rice to help alleviate her anxiety and symptoms. Being this was our first stay with Lezlie and being out of town, this made us feel secured and at ease that our fur kiddies would be more than okay. Really the cherry on top was Lezlie asking if she could give them a quick mini-exit bath. Mind you, these are large doodles and baths can be very time consuming. It had been raining the entire week and they had tracked some mud on their paws, tail, and face. Lezlie just elevated her professionalism and services by her thoughtfulness and courtesy to think several steps ahead. Kiddies really loved her and we couldn’t have picked a better doggy expert in the Brazos Valley. Thank you Lezlie!”
About: I have fostered dogs for four years and have experience with diverse breeds and personalities, including caring for dogs with high anxiety. I really enjoy fostering dogs and one of the greatest feelings I have experienced is knowing I have provided an animal with a safe space. I have also bottle fed baby kittens and am able to administer medication to pets. I live in an area that is by a park, as well as having a backyard, so animals will have plenty of opportunities to be outside and go for walks. About: Around two years ago, my friend and I were coaching a Little Diggers Volleyball team in our local town when we saw some kittens in a storm drain. We didn’t see their mother, and we sat there for about two hours waiting for her when she didn’t show, we decided to rescue the kittens, and I brought 2 into my own home. About: The obvious reason, I LOVE DOGS and being around ALL animals . every dog has a unique personality which makes all of them special and all dogs have something different to offer pet lovers. I also love to be outdoors playing and walking them. I walk a lot any way, might as well have a furry companion. I can pretty much set my own schedule (within reason). I also don't have any obligations, other than my husband. I feel like this would feel a void in my life and help give to purpose. I like to use hand commands but verbal is fine also I have been a pet owner for quite sometimes, no current pets, some very high energy, some old and arthritic and on medication I perfer smaller dogs if they come to my house. The house is mostly empty, it’s just me and my husband. I have also sat for cats, turtles, lizards, goats horses and all types of pasture animals. Big or small, I do it all. I’m retired airline employee, so, I’m pretty flexible with my time and schedule. We currently don’t have any pets because we enjoy our travel time. If we’re not traveling you can always catch me on someone’s ranch helping out with their critters. I really prefer watching the animals at the clients home because that’s where they feel most comfortable. I don’t mind bringing the pets to my home, if they are on the smaller side. Of course, if it’s something on the bigger side, ie, like livestock, I would be at the client’s home.
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life of all sizes. Very patient and friendly with all fur babies. In our home they are apart of my family. I am currently a stay at home wife so my schedule is very flexible and I am very happy to make appointments to make sure they get the attention your fur babies deserve! I have experience with dogs beings off leashes trained as well as the ones that constantly need leashes so they don’t get into trouble. Playing in the yard or just butt scratches are a staple!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old. I have happily taken care of neighbors, friends, and families dogs over the years. “Two paws up for Lezlie. Very impressed with her organization, professionalism, and communication skills. She was very in tune with our fur kiddies and quick to communicate with us on their status. Tejas has separation anxiety and had some runny stools. Lezlie communicated with us immediately and took first steps to help Tejas feel comfortable. First asking our consent, she made Tejas a special diet meal with broth, pumpkin, and rice to help alleviate her anxiety and symptoms. Being this was our first stay with Lezlie and being out of town, this made us feel secured and at ease that our fur kiddies would be more than okay. Really the cherry on top was Lezlie asking if she could give them a quick mini-exit bath. Mind you, these are large doodles and baths can be very time consuming. It had been raining the entire week and they had tracked some mud on their paws, tail, and face. Lezlie just elevated her professionalism and services by her thoughtfulness and courtesy to think several steps ahead. Kiddies really loved her and we couldn’t have picked a better doggy expert in the Brazos Valley. Thank you Lezlie!”
