“1st-time using a service like "Rover." I will NEVER take our dog to a Boarding Facility IF I don't have to. Our dog is accustomed to a tranquil environment and was never kenneled. Imagine being in a loud facility, with barking dogs and caged for days (walking breaks provided, but, no freedom to roam.) I found Rover after boarding our dog 3 times. My 1st experience and I'm thrilled I did. You can filter to sitters who take 1 dog at a time, no children, etc. Ok about Amy: What a GEM! Communicative, Clean, genuinely Kind, and Professional. My husband and I live close to Amy (another plus,) but even if we moved 1 hour away we would still rebook with Amy as long as she's available. Upon pick-up our dog ran to us, but as we recapped with Amy and her husband our dog kept going to them too. I told her I was unsure if he would be happy to see us because he is living his best life at "Aunt Amy's" lol. I'm a "non-worrier," however, I didn't realize how much Amy's' consistent checked-in with photos and a couple of videos helped put my mind at ease, my soul at peace, and allowed me to fully enjoy my honeymoon without thinking too much about our dogs' wellbeing. About: **About me** We are a dog lover family with 2 Morkies and 2 mini Schnauzers. We love meeting new dogs and give them, care, love and attention. My wife and I have nursing background. We have taken care of friend's pets gladly. **About my home/services** We live in a quiet country house with .5 acre of land. The dogs have a medium-large fenced area to play, run and enjoy the outdoors. We are available to exercise and enjoy your pet's visit in our house. **About my neighborhood** We live in a circle area that is quite and away from traffic. Our back yard is fully fenced and secure for dogs to play around and exercise as they wish. My dogs are used to new dogs often.
About: I dont have any special skills at all I have a huge love for dogs and always have Im very patient with meeting new dogs and attentive to their attitude I am currently on medical leave from work and doing physical therapy throughout the week. Pet care is something I am able to do at any time during the day and week. I can supervise the pups while they play and get to know each other, I am able to go outside and throw ball with my dogs which is awesome I can do more than just supervise them while they play!
About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember and I love everything about them. Big, small, energetic, lazy, I’ve dealt with them all. If there is anything you need done I’m sure I’ve done it or can learn to do it to help make a positive experience for you and your pet. I currently work full time but need some extra cash so I can always make time for whatever you need to help you and your pup out! About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole entire life, so I’m used to caring for them. 2 years ago I got my dog when she was 7 weeks old, and have raised her ever since. Also, I’m the first to call when anyone needs a dog sitter with friends and family because they call me the “dog whisperer”!! I’m currently working part time in the outlet mall in San Marcos, but I have my schedule 2 weeks in advance, so I will know exactly when I’ll be able to be with the dogs all day! I do live in an apartment complex, but we do have a caged dog park and there’s a lot of grass surrounding the buildings! There’s also a safe pathway around the complexes for them to be walked.

“1st-time using a service like "Rover." I will NEVER take our dog to a Boarding Facility IF I don't have to. Our dog is accustomed to a tranquil environment and was never kenneled. Imagine being in a loud facility, with barking dogs and caged for days (walking breaks provided, but, no freedom to roam.) I found Rover after boarding our dog 3 times. My 1st experience and I'm thrilled I did. You can filter to sitters who take 1 dog at a time, no children, etc. Ok about Amy: What a GEM! Communicative, Clean, genuinely Kind, and Professional. My husband and I live close to Amy (another plus,) but even if we moved 1 hour away we would still rebook with Amy as long as she's available. Upon pick-up our dog ran to us, but as we recapped with Amy and her husband our dog kept going to them too. I told her I was unsure if he would be happy to see us because he is living his best life at "Aunt Amy's" lol. I'm a "non-worrier," however, I didn't realize how much Amy's' consistent checked-in with photos and a couple of videos helped put my mind at ease, my soul at peace, and allowed me to fully enjoy my honeymoon without thinking too much about our dogs' wellbeing.
