About: My parents adopted a 3 month old kitten when I was 18, about to turn 19 years old. I was the one who helped my mom pick the right supplies. She didn’t know about kitten food, the difference between wet and dry food, or the best kind of litter to get. I helped walk her through it, till she could do it on her own. About: I have worked at Petsmart before. At Petsmart we are required to know what makes a dog comfortable while at a public place or somewhere other than home. I have watched over puppies 2 and 3 months old for my in laws a couple times now. My parents got a kitten that I helped take care of till I moved out about 10 months later. I own a chinchilla which is an exotic small animal. I’ve had her for a year. I’ve been fascinated by pets since I was a child and always do my research before taking care of an animal. I look forward to being of assistance. I fluctuate between part time and full time. I’m usually free tuesdays, wednesdays, and thursdays. I can schedule the time off if it’s 3 or 4 weeks in advance. I usually work mornings except for mondays, when I work evenings. I can always visit the pup or kitty during break and then spend the rest of the day with them after work. This will most likely be temporary until I can get a solid schedule here or at Home Depot. My apartment complex is very pet friendly. My building is only a few steps away from a dog park inside of the complex. The clubhouse has dog treats and I can provide as well based on age and diet. I will always ask any questions about what you would prefer for your fur baby. I have a chinchilla that stays in a cage as long as your pet is around. She is curious and will not hurt your pet even if they stick a paw in between the bars, which is hard to do anyways. My living room is a large space for any pet. I’m currently working part time, but I’m willing to do weekly stays with 2-3 weeks in advance notice. I also will require meet ups before every service in a public place. This is not going to be required for existing clients. I live in an apartment so I don’t currently own any pets, but everyone in my direct and extended family either has, or has had one that I’ve grown up with. I’m very familiar with animal routines and attributes. If something is bothering your pet, I will notice. I always keep in constant contact with whoever I petsit or help take care of for anything I may notice. Most of the time it’s things owners are already aware of, but I’ve always found it never hurts to ask and inform.

About: I’m a middle school teacher who is home evenings, weekends and summer! I treat every dog like my own. You’ll get daily photo updates, quick communication and a calm, structured environment. I am a middle school teacher during the day but I am available for over night stays, weekend and holiday breaks. Allowed to get on furniture. I take Travis out every morning at 7. We take a short walk and play in the backyard. I’m able to come home and take him on another walk mid day then he gets another walk in the evening. For his last potty break he plays in the backyard. He eats twice a day. He’s up to date on his shots and neutered.

My dogs are super picky eaters too, but Mariah tried every tip I offered to get them to eat and eventually got them to eat using her own methods and food. “Ashley, thank you so much for taking such amazing care of our two dogs for 10 days. We loved getting the pictures and updates almost every day—it really put us at ease while we were away. The walks you took them on were wonderful (you honestly do a better job walking them than we do!). We came home to two very happy pups, and it means the world to us. We wouldn’t want anyone else watching them going forward.”

Ariel and her spouse were accommodating when it came to bring our 2 dogs over for the meet and greet and when I dropped them off for the 4 days. Their home was pet friendly and they answered any questions we had. We received several pictures throughout the day with updates on how they were doing.
