“We left our dog Stanley with Edwin and his wonderful family for a 9-day stay, and they did a fantastic job! Edwin kept us updated with photos and messages, showing Stanley eating, getting brushed, going on walks, and settling in. Anytime I checked in, Edwin was quick to respond and always communicative. We had a great feeling about the stay after a meet-and-greet with Edwin and his family a week before our trip. From the moment we arrived, Edwin took the leash and was confidently in control of Stanley. We’ve done meet-and-greets before where the sitter gives your dog a few pats and focuses more on chatting with you. This was more like a test drive, where Edwin paid close attention to how Stanley handled the new environment. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they took the responsibility seriously and that Stanley would be well cared for while we were away. Stanley is pretty easy going... until it thunders. Then he becomes very anxious. Unfortunately, there were a few storms while we were away. We left medication to help, but it takes awhile to kick in and it sometimes only takes the edge off. If you have a dog like this, you feel pretty helpless during these storms. There is no magic fix. You make them as comfortable as possible, but the only way "out" is getting through the storm. Edwin was proactive with the medication, and along with his family, helped Stanley ride out those storms as well as we could have ourselves. We’re grateful to Edwin and his family for taking such great care of Stanley and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a sitter.”

“I think this was Abby's 5th time with Savannah and Gabriel. They are great with her. Abby is a handful as she is only 8 months old and still doing typical puppy things. I like that S and G meet me outside their apt building, so I just hand Abby over to them. They take up her bag of food and toys, and her crate and framed puppy pad, so I can be on my way. Same when I come to pick Abby up. They have one dog, also a shih tzu. I like that they do have a playmate for Abby and also that they just have one dog and she's a small one like Abby. As I've said before, their apartment is immaculate and very nice and so is their dog. So I know that Abby won't be finding stuff on their floor to chew up and swallow. (She's still in that phase.) They also have pee pads, a playpen, nice beds, etc. S and G always keep me informed with photos while I'm away. I'm so glad I found them.”

I’ve grown up with dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, but it became my responsibility to clean the litter box and scoop poop from the yard in 3rd grade. Aside from dogs and cats, I’ve been around all different animals, including riding horses and taking care of them at one point. I currently have a 10 month golden retriever and 2 cats that are 5 yo. I recently just graduated from Texas State with a Biology degree and am working to save up for graduate school. Currently, I’m able to complete the majority of my work from home, which allows for me to take on pets that may require a bit more attention. I have a large space to play in with lots of toys and my apartment backs up to the purgatory creek trails. Also, my sister has a 5 acre property that’s fenced in, which I regularly take my pup to run around off leash. I’m familiar with dog friendly places in the area and an advocate for training sessions in public to socialize them. I have a large dog kennel, small kennel, cat carrier, litter box, and perhaps anything else your pet might need.

About: I love animals. I've had 2 dogs at all times for the last 22yrs. and a few cats. I live in a large 2 bdrm Apt with my 3 sweet Chihuahuas. I am a dog person and this is a dog house. Plenty of room for a few more to play with. My dogs are friendly. We have a dog park on the property. There are only small dogs here as it is a Senior Living. I will walk your dogs around the complex and they can safely play in dog park area. I'm retired for now and spend all my time with my dogs. Your pet will have all our attention. I am open and flexible to any special request you might have. Can't wait to meet you and your furry friend. I’m a full time dog Mom. When I wake up I am dressed and out the door walking with them. Then we. One home and eat breakfast. Playtime for a few hours inside and we go out again. I am very interactive with my dogs and any dogs I am sitting for. I currently have two extremely friendly young dogs if your dog wants a walking buddy, they would love that!! About: I've been around dogs my entire life, I love dogs and I've been pet sitting for friends and family for many years. My own personal dogs are heelers named Bobby and Nico. Bobby’s been through a lot in his life (broken leg) but I've gained a lot of experience caring for him while injured and gained a lot of knowledge in general dog care in our 7 years together. They’re both high energy dogs that love being outside so I enjoy taking them on hikes. About: Hi! My name is Cydney and I have lived in the area for 5 years. I originally moved here for school and recently graduated from Texas State. I have a passion for animals and love making new furry friends! I have over 300 hours of volunteer experience in animal shelters walking, administering medication, and simply loving dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. I am also a certified veterinarian assistant in the state of Texas. I cannot wait to meet your dog and give them a wag! I currently work full time 8-5pm. I can stop by for drop-in visits in the mid-afternoons and evenings to make sure everything is okay with your loved one! About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a teeneager and have been a pet parent for just as many years. I currently have two boston terriers of my own, Cooper and Chloe. I'm semi retired and have lots of availability. i love dogs of all kinds and it gives me great pleasure to interact with and care for dogs. I will feed, walk, play with your dogs and administer any necessary medication. I'm retired so I can work around any schedule you need me to.
About: I’ve had animals/ taken care of animals my whole life, I currently have 3 cats, and 2 dogs, and frequently babysit all of my friends babies when they need me to! I’m currently free most of the time besides remote work! I love getting outside to play with animals or just giving them attention so it’s a good break from remote jobs! I don’t offer services from my home but I can assure you I know how to handle emergencies or just any incidents that occur. I’ve had a few in my couple years having animals of my own, and dealing with elderly pets or animals with neurological issues. I know how to use kennels, can read body language like second nature, your babies will always be in attentive hands.
About: i’ve taken care of family pets, helped with walks and check in before! i absolutely strive my best to take care of the babies while families are away for a little! i currently work full time mon-thurs 8-5:30 and fridays i am home by 12:30 and off the weekends. we go to dog parks and walks after work and especially on weekends every dog with me stays on leash or i am very hands and eyes on if a dog is off leash trained. not many dogs at my apartment complex to worry about!
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats and also parakeets the last 40 years. Can do it all -feeding, cleaning and walking duties. I can also help with special requests. I’m currently working full-time and can help in early morning and evenings. Also weekend availability and can help with house sitting Thursday- Sunday. If you have a special request or particular need, let me know. I make sure yards are secured and same with leashes. I watch for cats and make sure your dog is safe with me. About: I love animals. I've had 2 dogs at all times for the last 22yrs. and a few cats. I live in a large 2 bdrm Apt with my 3 sweet Chihuahuas. I am a dog person and this is a dog house. Plenty of room for a few more to play with. My dogs are friendly. We have a dog park on the property. There are only small dogs here as it is a Senior Living. I will walk your dogs around the complex and they can safely play in dog park area. I'm retired for now and spend all my time with my dogs. Your pet will have all our attention. I am open and flexible to any special request you might have. Can't wait to meet you and your furry friend. I’m a full time dog Mom. When I wake up I am dressed and out the door walking with them. Then we. One home and eat breakfast. Playtime for a few hours inside and we go out again. I am very interactive with my dogs and any dogs I am sitting for. I have a large 2 bedroom apartment without the clutter so they can run around and out on patio. Outside for walks and at the dog playground.

“We left our dog Stanley with Edwin and his wonderful family for a 9-day stay, and they did a fantastic job! Edwin kept us updated with photos and messages, showing Stanley eating, getting brushed, going on walks, and settling in. Anytime I checked in, Edwin was quick to respond and always communicative. We had a great feeling about the stay after a meet-and-greet with Edwin and his family a week before our trip. From the moment we arrived, Edwin took the leash and was confidently in control of Stanley. We’ve done meet-and-greets before where the sitter gives your dog a few pats and focuses more on chatting with you. This was more like a test drive, where Edwin paid close attention to how Stanley handled the new environment. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they took the responsibility seriously and that Stanley would be well cared for while we were away. Stanley is pretty easy going... until it thunders. Then he becomes very anxious. Unfortunately, there were a few storms while we were away. We left medication to help, but it takes awhile to kick in and it sometimes only takes the edge off. If you have a dog like this, you feel pretty helpless during these storms. There is no magic fix. You make them as comfortable as possible, but the only way "out" is getting through the storm. Edwin was proactive with the medication, and along with his family, helped Stanley ride out those storms as well as we could have ourselves. We’re grateful to Edwin and his family for taking such great care of Stanley and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a sitter.”
