“Olivia did a fantastic job with our pugs. I am an anxious person and was feeling nervous about leaving my pugs for 10 days while out of the country. Olivia sent me multiple pictures and updates every day, morning and night. This helped me feel so secure in our choice of pet care. It seemed like our pugs truly had a great time and had lots of play and cuddle time. They also loved her puggies, Tuna and Oskar. When we dropped Tito off, his nose was looking dry and I asked Olivia if she could butter it while we were away. When we picked them up, Tito’s nose looked brand new! I would rebook Olivia for our next trip in a heartbeat! Thank you so much!”

“Mazzy was in the greatest hands ever, and i will definately be a return customer of Grace and John, they updated me on mazzy while i was away and kept my mind at ease while away. 10/10 reccomend!”

“Iuliia watched my two mini dachshunds and they had a great time. She took great care of them, sent lots of pictures and I will definitely leave them with her the next time I’m out of town.”

“I was so happy to find Clarice as a last minute sitter for my pups. I was a bit nervous since it was my first time leaving them with a stranger, but she made me feel comfortable and assured during our meet and greet. Great communication and pics to reassure that my babies were doing well. I just picked them up and they seem content. I will definitely use her again!”

“Gina is amazing! Rory loved her from the meet & greet and enjoyed her stay with Gina. She is communicative and sent pics of Rory along with an update every couple of days while I was away. I highly recommend Gina and will definitely reach out to her for future dog sitting needs!”

“Anthony’s space is set up great for dogs and he was super responsive to every message! My dog can be a little wild but he handled his behavior and kept him feeling happy! :)”

About: I have been around dogs and cats since I was young. In high school I moved to a ranch and helped raise animals from horses to peacocks. Most recently, I have experience in healthcare and am comfortable with administering medications to your furry family members. My family moved to San Marcos and ready to open our home to your family. We do have a one year old girl and a baby on the way. So I ask to use your best judgement if your pet will be a good fit with us. My schedule is wide open at the moment, but can change quickly with a little one at home. I will be communicative of when I am not available and work to accommodate everyone. Our home has a good sized fenced yard. We also love to go on walks. If your pet has any favorite toys I would be happy to play until their heart is content.

“I needed to go out of town on two days’ notice. Stephanie was super flexible in scheduling a meet n greet. Stephanie was super flexible with pick up and drop off as well. She provided regular updates, photos and videos over my 3 day trip. She asked very detailed questions about my past rover boarding experiences, my dog’s boarding experiences, and about my dog’s needs & behaviors. My dog was able to fit in at her job just like he was at my own. Stephanie will definitely be my go-to boarder for any future trips.”

“My fiancé and I had to leave for a few days to Houston for her niece’s baptism. Lisa watched our dog, Scout, for us and she did an amazing job. Her dog and Scout got along very well. She has a nice/big backyard that he was able to play in! She made sure to send us updates/photos everyday while we were away, which was so thoughtful and made us feel good knowing he was in good hands. We will definitely be calling Lisa again for sitting!”

“I recommend Edwin and family to anyone! They take such amazing care of my dog, Layla, who is pretty anxious without me. They send photos and make sure she feels at home. I never worry while she stays here!”

“I highly recommended Danielle because of her excellent service. She and her husband Jack are very friendly and trustworthy. They took care of my dog very careful while I was on vacation. Moreover, she updated the activities of my dog by sending pictures and videos every day. Definitely a five-star service!”

“Donna was fantastic with our puppy and in all of her communications. She sent us photos that warmed our hearts and made us feel so comfortable while we were on vacation. Our flight was delayed returning home and Donna graciously allowed us to modify our reservation at the last minute to add an additional nights stay. She was very responsible in following our care instructions and even helped us with some of our training enforcement. Donna was flexible for our initial meet and greet and we cannot imagine our sweet Phoebe staying anywhere else.”

“Super communicative and made sure Brodie was happy and active! Never had to worry about what Brodie was doing because Yun sent plenty of updates throughout the day which was so appreciated! She’s the best!”

“Savannah and Gabriel were wonderful! They provided me with photo updates throughout Junie’s stay with them which was so, so nice and reassuring! I would trust them to care for any pet! Thank you so much, Savannah and Gabriel!!”

About: I have a senior cat who is 15 years old who my fiancee and I have had for several years, and my fiancees family has had since she was a year old! I have been around young cats as well, growing up with several cats since I was very little!

“Had a family emergency and had make a quick trip and was so glad Taylor had the availability to come with a less than 24 hr notice. They did everything I asked for and more like water my plants and cleaned any messes Asher made.”

About: Hi! I’m Mirella, a Texas State University student and lifelong animal lover. I’ve cared for cats for over 6 years and have owned my own cat for the past 3 years, so I understand how important it is to keep cats comfortable by respecting their routines, personalities, and boundaries. I also have two family cats in my hometown that I’ve helped care for over the years. I’ve looked after friends’ cats and kittens while they were away and have experience caring for cats with all kinds of personalities—from shy, independent cats who prefer their space to social, playful cats who love attention. I’m also comfortable administering medications and following your cat’s routine to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I know every cat is different, so I’ll take the time to earn their trust, respect their boundaries, and provide the care they’re used to. Whether your cat wants to play, cuddle, or simply have a quiet companion, I’ll make sure they feel cared for while you’re away.

“Elizabeth was tremendous! Super quick to respond, detailed with her visit reports, and overall a very kind person - really helped us stay at ease while we were away. And our kitties were in great spirits when we got home! Thanks again Elizabeth!”

“Corina really helped me out by bathing my dog after he had unexpected potty trouble. She is so flexible and communicative which really puts my mind at ease when I am out of town. I know my pets are in good hands with her!”

“10/10 pet sitter!! So glad I found Victoria on here. She offered to come over and meet me & our cats before the booking which was so nice. She is such a genuine and sweet soul in person which made me feel super comfortable with having her in our home watching our fur babies. She did everything we asked & more in the 10 days watching our two cats. She even brought her own cat treats & toys to play with them! Also, you could tell she actually interacted with them rather than just doing the bare minimum which made us feel sooo happy and comfortable with leaving our cats home for so long. Some other sitters just check in, feed them, and leave while Victoria made an effort to play with them and give them a lot of love. Definitely reaching out to Victoria again for any future sitting needs, and you should too! ❤️”

“I reached out to Katie very last minute (on my way to the hospital) for services and she was amazing!!! All four of my cats loved her, even the skittish one, which speaks to the kind soul I'm sure she is. I will be rebooking with her in the future. Thank you Katie!!”

“Joesiiah was an incredibly kind and wonderful pet sitter for our cats, including my old man senior cat. He was incredibly patient with their needs, and took great care of them. I loved getting the daily photos and check-ins. We came home to happy cats and a clean litter box. Would highly recommend!”

About: I fostered my baby girl, Alani, after she fell out of a moving car as a kitten, and was picked up by the head Vet and a clinic I was working at in highschool. Despite my parents original hesitation, she quickly became a member of our family and has been by my side ever since. Along with caring for her daily, I care for the kitties at my current pet boarding job where I’m in charge of their feeding, watering, cleaning, and medicating. As well as boarding care, I also have experience bathing, grooming, and trimming cats nails, as part of my day as a full time groomer. Whatever your kitty needs, I can provide!

“I have used Brooke & Steven many times since moving to Montrose. I can't imagine using anyone else. Since moving here, we have had to make many last minutes trips due to family issues and they have been there to help so that I didn't have to worry about what was going on here and could concentrate on where I needed to be. They are great and I trust them with my furry family as well as being in my home.”
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a teeneager and have been a pet parent for just as many years. I currently have two boston terriers of my own, Cooper and Chloe. I'm semi retired and have lots of availability. i love dogs of all kinds and it gives me great pleasure to interact with and care for dogs. I will feed, walk, play with your dogs and administer any necessary medication. I'm retired so I can work around any schedule you need me to.

“Absolutely the BEST Pet Sitter on Rover! Gabby goes above and beyond! Gabby makes me feel confident that my precious cat is safe and properly cared for. Thank you so much Gabby! 🙏🏻❤️🥰”

“My cats were healthy, happy and well taken care of by Blayne. Opal says “yes, bring her back! Warm lap and she knows right where to scratch my ears!” Azeriphale wants another round of chase the toy mouse!”
“Krystal was a fantastic pet-sitter for our two cats over the Thanksgiving holiday. She sent lots of pictures each visit and gave them lots of attention and play-time. One of our cats has medical needs, including an oral medication and twice-daily injection. I worry about him sometimes when I am not able to take care of him myself, but Krystal made me feel at ease: her experience as a vet tech means she is already very familiar with how to administer medications, so I was able to feel confident that she had it handled! Krystal was flexible, super fast to respond to messages, and always put the priority on keeping the cats as happy and healthy as possible. Moving forward, we will be booking Krystal to care for our cats whenever we are out of town.”

“Reagan was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. Her visits were timely and reliable, and my cat warmed up to her right away. When I needed to make some last minute changes, Reagan was very helpful. I was very pleased with the experience and will be booking with her again.”

About: I’m a dependable and caring pet sitter with a lifelong love for animals. I’ve been around animals since I was 5 years old, growing up caring for ranch animals, dogs, cats, and even ferrets. I understand that every animal has its own personality and needs, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I live a very active lifestyle. Taking care of animals naturally goes hand in hand with that lifestyle because I genuinely enjoy being outdoors, going on walks, staying active, and keeping pets engaged and happy. I take animal safety and comfort very seriously both inside and outside of my home. I have a fully fenced patio area that provides pets with a secure outdoor space for fresh air, playtime, and exercise while staying safe at all times. I also have two dogs of my own who are very friendly, socialized, and used to being around other animals. However, I understand that every pet has different comfort levels and needs, so my dogs can always be safely crated or separated if necessary to ensure visiting pets feel comfortable and stress-free.

Thank you so so much Olivia!”

“Grace and her husband were excellent! This is the first time my little 16 1/2 year old Dash has ever stayed in a home without either of his 2 mommas with him, and it looks like he felt at home with them. Thanks to you, Grace, we were able to get through a very difficult day (my nephew's funeral service) without the added stress of having to worry about my Dash. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

About: My life has been defined by a deep connection to animals, from growing up in a multi-pet household of dogs and cats to exploring the intricate world of aquarium keeping. This lifelong passion eventually evolved into a professional focus; I am currently a graduate student in Psychology and am personally training my own service dog, Disco. My experience goes beyond basic pet sitting; I understand canine behavior, the importance of positive reinforcement, and the necessity of a calm, structured environment. Whether I’m managing a high-energy dog, a senior pet with a strict medication schedule, or even a delicate aquatic setup, I bring a researcher's attention to detail and a lifelong lover's heart to every home. I’ve spent years caring for the pets of friends and family, and I look forward to providing that same expert, reliable care for your companions. Pet care is the foundation of my daily life. As a service dog handler, I live and breathe animal behavior and routine. My day is built around structured walks, training reinforcement, and clear communication. While I balance my graduate studies and work, my school breaks are dedicated to providing high-quality, attentive care for your pets. Because I am used to the responsibility of a working dog, I bring that same level of discipline and reliability to your pet’s schedule, ensuring they feel secure and cared for in a low-stress, organized environment. I provide a calm, supervised environment where your pet’s safety is the top priority. I am accompanied by my service dog, Disco, who is expertly trained to be neutral and respectful of other animals' space. This often provides a wonderful, stabilizing social environment for the pets I watch. I am meticulous about feeding and exercise schedules, and I am particularly mindful of safety—for example, avoiding noon-day heat to protect paws and prevent overheating. Whether we are in my home or yours, I maintain a 'safety-first' mentality, ensuring all environments are secure and all interactions are positive.

It fits into my pet care routine because I have had my own pets throughout the last few years. So, I have been able to start figuring out a routine both daily and weekly I always walk them daily, make sure they are well fed, and always give them lots of love and attention throughout the day when I see them.

About: Boarding: Hello! My dog, Norman, and I would love to have your beloved fur baby stay with us. I have a large, fenced-in yard with lots of room for playing and running around. I have over 10 years of experience caretaking for pets, and animals are an important part of my life. At this time, I'm only accepting one dog at a time so that I can ensure your pup gets the most care and attention. ***Your dog MUST be on flea meds. I will not take any dog that has fleas. Thanks for understanding.*** We look forward to meeting you! Walking and Drop-ins: I'm attentive & caring, and your dog's safety is my priority. I'll take good care of your pets while you're at work! I'm good at reading and respecting the dog's energy. I know that it can take time to gain a dog's trust, especially as a new person. We can take things slowly if necessary. I work from home, so I'm available the majority of the day. If I leave, it's usually only to run a quick errand. During summer, we would not be outside too long unless you request a river play date. For dog sitting: I have a large, wooden-fenced yard and one small, male neutered dog. He is very friendly + energetic and loves playing with other dogs. Water is always available and plenty of space for relaxing. For walking and drop-ins: Safety is number one priority. Always leashed up and scanning for potential distractions.

“Super communicative and made sure Brodie was happy and active! Never had to worry about what Brodie was doing because Yun sent plenty of updates throughout the day which was so appreciated! She’s the best!”

“Luca absolutely loves Desmond and Robyn! We’ve used them a handful of times and Luca comes back so exhausted from all of the playing. The updates are amazing and communication incredible. We’ll continue bringing Luca back thank you!!”

“I am so grateful for Morgan! She took great care of my dachshund for an entire week! She asked me how often I wanted to be updated and she continuously updated me to my request. My dog was on medication while she watched him and she would always update me with the time he took his medication (which I didn’t ask her to do) but it gave me peace of mind knowing he never missed a medication! She’s is a beautiful soul and your dog will be lucky to be loved by her while you’re away! ?”

“Friendly, reliable, and communicative. They followed medication and feeding instructions, sent updates, and walked my pups. I felt confident in their care of my two dogs while I was out of the country.”

“Nicole was great! I trusted her and her boyfriend very much. They sent me pics and videos of my little baby having so much fun. I’m a helicopter dog mom and I’d definitely use them again. Apollo came home happy and tired from having a fun slumber party with Nicole’s and her cute Aussies ❤️❤️”

“Jourdan is so great with our pup Rose! Rose has tons of playtime, walks, pets, etc. We get some great photos too (ones that we save). She follows our requests for the sensitive tummy our pup has. Highly recommended :)”

“Very good experience and will definitely be coming back! My dog absolutely loved staying with her and he usually is really very anxious with others. She was very understanding and patient.”

“Grace & Allen went above & beyond to make sure our boy Buster had an amazing time with them and that we felt confident & secure that we left him in good hands. They asked lots of questions to make sure he was taken care of the exact same way he is at home and seemed very knowledgeable and passionate. Buster loved playing with their sweet dogs and they sent us tons of adorable pictures throughout his stay as well as a goodie bag with treats in it when we picked him up :) Fantastic people (and dogs), Buster is already asking to go back again!”
