When I walked into her home, there were no offensive dog smells and her home was clean with kennels and a backyard large enough to give my dog space to run around. The day of service, Yvette, would have provided food but I elected to bring my dog’s food. She obviously knows how to work with finicky dogs because mine would not eat without something added to his food. Yvette, knew how to handle that situation and I appreciate her initiative. About: I recently just started taking care of cats. It all started when me and my roomies decided to get a cat named Junior. We adopted him when he was four months and we watched him grow up. I learned how to not only just take care of him but also how to bathe him, figure out what treats work for him, test what foods he likes and doesn’t like, and play with him. We learned quickly that he does not like to go outside. He’s definitely an inside cat but it doesn’t mean he’s chill because when he’s inside, he’s very mischievous. Loves to get into things, loves to hide, and loves to climb so I will say while my experience is limited, Junior definitely gave me a run from my money. I definitely got to experience what a “crazy” cat is like and he wasn’t even black or orange lol. I also volunteer at different animal shelters from time to time. Most shelters had cats so I learned what to do with the cats, how to treat them, how to warm up to the ones that were shy, and then how to handle the ones that people would label as “bad.” They aren’t bad, they are just very energetic and need more love than the others. So while you may see that I only have 1 year experience, I feel like I have dip and dabbled in many different areas and I would love on your fur babies just like they are my own. :)

I work from home and my pet has been with me for 17 years and working from home he has given me that company that I needed while at home working daily I have a very large backyard that is fenced in and that allows the pets to run freely or they can be tied on a Long Leash. My house has been customized for him because he was a part of my family. My schedule typically involves taking my kids to and from school, sitting on the patio, going for walks around the neighborhood, shooting home decor youtube videos, and shopping. While fur sitting, I will typically be home. Your baby will have its own little room (the closet under the stairs with a baby gate). His room is only a few feet from my own bedroom and in the middle of the living room and kitchen. If your baby is housebroken, he will be able to walk around the house freely and I will take him on the patio and the playground in my backyard. If he likes walks, he can go on walks. If he is a senior or if it is too hot outside, I can take him for a walk in the pet stroller. I will also send videos and pictures throughout his stay. I have a large fenced in back yard. Your dog will not be outside alone. I also have an enclosed patio which is great for relaxing and getting fresh air without having to be completely outside.
About: My experience started when I was around 9 years old. My aunt had a cocker spaniel so that was my introduction into what caring for pets looked like. I treated Diamond, her name, as if she was my own. I learned how to bathe her, feed her, discipline her, play with her, and take her for walks. That same aunt then got three more dogs; a yorkie, a cavapo, and a pit bull so I got experience with taking care of three different dogs at the same time. It was beneficial because all three dogs had their own personalities. Also, pit bulls are so sweet and not the monsters the media says they are:). Next, my brother got a husky, Koda who you may see pictured, so that helped me learn what it was like to take care of big dogs. At first, Koda was scary because of his size but I soon learned that he was just a baby who wanted attention🥹. So I did just that. I would go out and play with him, give him toys, feed him, give him treats, and take him for walksies. It was hard because he pulls but I think I got the hand of it lol. Also, one of my cousins has a chihuahua/poodle mix who I’ll see every now and then who loves to do everything. She’s given me the most experience of how different a dog can be but she’s also so chill🥰 Recently, I gained experience with cats. Me and my roomies decided to adopt a cat named Junior who definitely gave us a run for our money. From seeing him when he was 4 months to now all grown up it’s been a ride. He loves to hide, is very mischievous, hates the outside, loves to climb, and picks and chooses when he wants to cuddle. He was definitely crazy but I love him so much. About: I’ve had big AND small dogs my entire childhood! I’ve also taken care of horses, steers, pigs, chickens, birds (exotic), dogs, cats! After growing up with only dogs and small house pets (hamsters, crabs, fish, frogs, and lizards)In my adulthood, my husband and I have opened our home to several rescues through the six years we’ve been together. At our home we consider ourselves “last owners” animals come to us to live out the rest of their lives, comfortable and loved. We’ve been by the side of 6 rescue birds, a few kittens and one chameleon to watch them cross over the rainbow bridge, and complete their journey. Between Gage (my husband) and I we have 10 cats (willow, meadow, sushi, pumpkin, chai, jenny, lucifer, salem, peggy & naruto) 5 birds (blanca, bleezy, grim, puffer & mongo bongo - she’s a 46 year old scarlett macaw! - ) 1 dog, (chief) 1 chameleon (pascal) and 1 scalata tortoise (torchy) ! we are obviously big animal lovers!! In conclusion, We both have tons of experience around all species of animal and we want your trip to be focused on enjoying YOUR vacation plans, and not worried about if your fur babies were left in the wrong hands! Most of my clients do not have children and their pet is their child. We’re big animal lovers and would love to take care of any your sweet babies! We’re pretty flexible, I’m a full time ROVER sitter!! He works at Total Wine in Cedar Hill. If I’m not available my husband definitely is! Currently my husband works at Total Wine & More in Cedar Hill. When I / we stay in your home I will most likely be there all day! Rover is my full time job so whatever care your baby needs I’ll make sure to be on top of it! Most bookings I would like to keep my husband with me wherever I am (just for safety reasons), BUT if you’re not comfortable with that I TOTALLY understand and I’m more than willing to stay without my husband!! I want to do whatever makes YOU AND YOUR BABIES safe, happy and comfortable!
About: I've had dogs since I was 6, so caring for them is second nature to me. I truly love animals and treat every pup like family! Since I just graduated high school and don't have a job right now, I have plenty of free time to focus on walking, playing with and, caring for pets. I live in a house with a big yard where dogs can safely play and explore. My two friendly dogs love making new friends, creating a calm and welcoming environment for all pets!
About: Will provide all necessary care for your dogs needs. I’m married no children , have had pets all my life and I dog sit for my friends for years why not get paid for what I love to do. I had a cocker for 13 years, American Bulldog, and English Bulldog, current have a English Bulldog puppy. I am also in the medical field and will be able to handle emergencies if they happen. I don’t believe in animal cruelty and I feel sometimes people need to get out or have to run errands and the dogs shouldn’t have to be locked up when they can be loved on while the owners handle business. This is something I enjoy and not trying to get rich.
About: I have dog sat for different animals all ages and special accommodations needed for them. I have experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, hedgehogs, birds, tortoises and fish. I am open to watching any animal tho, I love to learn new things. I am big outdoor gal so I definitely would like to go on walks or play outside. Yet I also love a good movie night and don’t mind snuggles from the fur babies! I have fur baby of my own while working, so doing this part time would be great. On my days that I have available I can’t think of better way then to get to be around animals. I always say my dog is like my child. About: My availability is very flexible. I work from home now and am finally able to love on your fur babies around the clock! I also offer house sitting at your home or at my house as well. I love taking the fur babies out for a walk. It’s good exercise for them and myself to get fresh air. Previously had two chihuahua’s that were escape artists so fully doggy proof. I also have experience on working with handicap fur babies. I currently worked with a fur baby that lost motion in his back legs prior to his visit to me and he was/is now able to balance on his back legs from the at home physical therapy we would do. And now he gets so excited when I drop by his home to check on him (we are actual best friends seriously.) I am available to walk your dogs or check in on your cats/dogs while you are away as well as make sure they are fed and have plenty of water and play time throughout the day if you have an extremely busy schedule. I have been house sitting dogs and cats previously for well over 15 years and have owned pets previously (before my parents moved overseas and kept the pack together) for well over 20 years. Would love to help with your fur babies! I work full time as a manager from home so I am able to fully utilize loving on your fur baby as well as take them out for walks and potty breaks consistently. When I am pet sitting the babies sleep in the bed with me and are on the couch getting all of the cuddles. It is a staycation.
About: I’ve cared for pets since I was 17 so from that I have experience in helping raise and nurture all pets! From premature sheep to malnourished puppies, I love to care for pets especially those with special needs. Once I come into care of someone else’s baby I treat them like they are my own :)! “Yvette is a very attentive sitter. We had a meet-n-greet before the day of service. The objective was to see how my dog responded to her and the environment. When I walked into her home, there were no offensive dog smells and her home was clean with kennels and a backyard large enough to give my dog space to run around. The day of service, Yvette, would have provided food but I elected to bring my dog’s food. She obviously knows how to work with finicky dogs because mine would not eat without something added to his food. Yvette, knew how to handle that situation and I appreciate her initiative.
