About: When I was 12 I moved into a neighborhood others used as a dumping ground, and I’ve seen cats as animals that need my help and protection ever since. I spent a year convincing my parents to take in two of the cats from the colony I’d been sneaking food to, another year caring for and feeding all my cats (indoor and outdoor), and even a week sitting outside an abandoned home trying to catch a fresh litter of kittens so I could take them to the vet and find them homes. One of the kittens I ended up being able to keep, and he became my best friend of all time. I fed him, litter trained, and played with him in a way that taught him right from wrong, and then did it twice more throughout the years with his brother and with his sister I got after he passed. Our daily walk includes her breathing in fresh air as I rollerblade and then a round about walk/run to keep her in shape. I am a teacher so I work Monday-Friday but am free weekends. About: Since I was a little girl, pets and animals have been a massive part of my life. My parents also shared a love for animals, leading to a house full of pets. Some of my friends call me 'the animal whisperer' because I would always pet an animal everywhere I went. I have a part-time job scheduled only three days out of the week, leaving ample time to care for animals. During my free time, I usually practice my instrument and learned that dogs love live music. If a dog requires special attention, he/she is my first priority. I'll take my client's pet on a walk in the morning to enjoy fresh air and sunlight. I have my own personal furry companions as well: my cuddle buddy, Duke, a brown tabby cat, and Chili (Cheese Fries), his adopted little tortie sister! Before you book with me, please note that my previous partner, Alex, is no longer affiliated with my Rover account, as they have moved away early this year. In short, I'd love to care for each and every one of your furry, scaly, or slimy friends, and I can't wait to meet them all! I am currently available from Monday to Sunday, from 8:00am to 9:00pm. After losing our first born 'child,' a pit bull mix named Bella, I was finally able to adopt again in May 2019. Shelby is a blue heeler mix, and she loves playing with other dogs.
