“I cannot speak highly enough about Rachel. This was my first time ever using the Rover app— And trusting a stranger with my anxiety ridden dog was crazy. However, this experience completely exceeded my expectations. There wasn’t even a second guess when I met her. She greeted my dog before me. He immediately made her house a home and she welcomed him in with open arms. She was attentive to his needs, showed him so much love, and sent me so many pictures, videos and updates— that I already knew his safety and my worries weren’t even in question. “⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Beyond Exceptional – Mychelle Is Truly One of a Kind I cannot even begin to express the level of gratitude, comfort, and peace of mind Michelle gave me while caring for my Labradoodle for six full days. And trust me when I say this review comes from someone who is an EXTREME dog mom. My girl is not “just a dog” to me — she is my baby, my shadow, my emotional support, my family, and honestly my whole heart. I am notoriously protective over her and almost never allow anyone to care for her, especially overnight and especially in someone else’s home. My Labradoodle also has separation anxiety, medical needs, and requires extremely important medications for her liver and bladder that absolutely cannot be missed. Leaving her with someone else was something that caused ME anxiety too. I worried constantly before the trip… until Mychelle completely changed that. From the moment I dropped my girl off, Mychelle treated her with genuine love, patience, kindness, and compassion. She did not make me feel like I was leaving my dog with a “pet sitter.” She made me feel like I was leaving her with family. Throughout my entire trip, Mychelle constantly kept me updated with pictures, videos, messages, and little check-ins that absolutely melted my heart and calmed my nerves. I probably drove her crazy how many texts I sent her-but she was always quick in response time and never made me feel uneasy. Ecko had so much fun with her 2 labs and 1 other pup that Mychelle was looking after in her home. I could SEE my baby was happy, relaxed, loved on, and truly comfortable in her care. That means everything to someone like me who notices every little detail about their dog’s behavior and emotions. VERY IMPORTANT—>Not only did Michelle flawlessly administer all of her medications and take her medical care seriously, but she also gave her affection, attention, comfort, and emotional care. That is something you simply cannot fake. Animals know when someone is truly kind-hearted, and my Labradoodle clearly adored her. When I picked my girl up, she was happy, healthy, calm, and obviously well cared for. Honestly, I do not think I could have asked for a better experience if I tried. Thank you, Mychelle, from the bottom of my heart, for loving and caring for my girl the way you did. You gave this psycho dog mom the greatest gift possible: the ability to finally relax knowing her baby was safe, loved, and in amazing hands. We absolutely adore you. 💕🐾”

About: My parents adopted a 3 month old kitten when I was 18, about to turn 19 years old. I was the one who helped my mom pick the right supplies. She didn’t know about kitten food, the difference between wet and dry food, or the best kind of litter to get. I helped walk her through it, till she could do it on her own. I knew thanks to my experience working at a pet store, and having extended family members who owned cats. I knew all those one’s my entire life. I also kept a cat fed for a neighbor. Just regular pop ins.

About: I have owned dogs my entire life varying in all kinds of ages, breeds, and health issues. My dogs are my world and I will treat your dog as if they are my own. I have a flexible schedule being in real estate so that makes it easy for me to schedule these extra dog walkings or check in's for my neighbors. I personally have a dog door with a fenced yard for my two dogs and have spent a lot of time training them so I trust them with the dog door open when I leave the house. For other people's pets, I will of course follow their rules if they crate or leave them free roaming in the house.
About: Growing up with animals all my life, I shared my love with my own kids by volunteering with our local shelter and rescues with my kiddos. With over 200 foster dogs, many of which were puppies, they are naturals and know much about pet care. We have 2 small dogs and 1 cat (inside/outside) of our own who are also accustom to other animals through our home. For care in your home, I can come by up to 4 times a day - walk, feed, water, potty breaks and play/cuddle. When at my house, I work from home, so potty breaks, walks and outside time are frequent. A typical day around here consists of potty breaks first thing and meals distributed in the morning. However, if you have a different schedule, I can accommodate that. At your home, we will start with time outside, then feed/water as needed, cuddle and play, and always go back outside for potty time before departure. We can also follow any instructions you might have. At my home, I have a very large backyard (several acres) that is currently partially fenced. While I am working on a smaller fenced area for our guests, if needed, I have a 50' lead where your dog will be fully supervised but allowed to run, play and sunbathe. Also, we will go on leashed walks.

“I am so grateful for Rita. I have a reactive Pitt who was rescued from severe neglect at about 1 year old. I am very cautious about who I leave him with and I have to say I trust Rita implicitly with my dogs. Firstly they love her, she spends actual time with them and I know she can handle my Bossko no problem. Rita has an understanding of dogs and their behavior/needs that has been literally life saving for my dog. That probably sounds dramatic but we were having some big behavioral issues surrounding a move and I was starting to worry about safety but also refused to give up on my dog. Rita offered some insight as to what he might be needing from me and offered some ideas on a routine and safety measures I could implement to help him (things that are actually sustainable in my busy life as a single mom) and it has been a game changer! I can see the difference in his demeanor, in his recovery from stressful events, and he's so much more happy and fulfilled. My whole house is so much more calm and settled and I get to give him a happier life. Rita's understanding and compassionate care for dogs is unmatched, and I'm a better dog mom as a result.”

About: I have a senior dog so he needs to be let out more often and I have to make sure he eats his food. I also have an aggressive dog but he loves our family and really dislikes other people so I have dealt with aggressive and sometimes timid dogs. I work at a restaurant but only 3-4 times a week so I am free whenever I am needed. I love dogs and animals I care for them like they are my own and give them lots of love so they don’t miss their owners to much when they are gone I make sure to do everything that I am told to do by the owners and also do it at the times that I am told to do it

About: I have worked at Petsmart before. At Petsmart we are required to know what makes a dog comfortable while at a public place or somewhere other than home. I have watched over puppies 2 and 3 months old for my in laws a couple times now. My parents got a kitten that I helped take care of till I moved out about 10 months later. I own a chinchilla which is an exotic small animal. I’ve had her for a year. I’ve been fascinated by pets since I was a child and always do my research before taking care of an animal. I look forward to being of assistance. I fluctuate between part time and full time. I’m usually free tuesdays, wednesdays, and thursdays. I can schedule the time off if it’s 3 or 4 weeks in advance. I usually work mornings except for mondays, when I work evenings. I can always visit the pup or kitty during break and then spend the rest of the day with them after work. This will most likely be temporary until I can get a solid schedule here or at Home Depot. My apartment complex is very pet friendly. My building is only a few steps away from a dog park inside of the complex. The clubhouse has dog treats and I can provide as well based on age and diet. I will always ask any questions about what you would prefer for your fur baby. I have a chinchilla that stays in a cage as long as your pet is around. She is curious and will not hurt your pet even if they stick a paw in between the bars, which is hard to do anyways. My living room is a large space for any pet. I’m currently working part time, but I’m willing to do weekly stays with 2-3 weeks in advance notice. I also will require meet ups before every service in a public place. This is not going to be required for existing clients. I live in an apartment so I don’t currently own any pets, but everyone in my direct and extended family either has, or has had one that I’ve grown up with. I’m very familiar with animal routines and attributes. If something is bothering your pet, I will notice. I always keep in constant contact with whoever I petsit or help take care of for anything I may notice. Most of the time it’s things owners are already aware of, but I’ve always found it never hurts to ask and inform.
About: I have 8 years of professional experience working with a world champion Cavalier breeder doing grooming, dog sitting, helping prep and work through puppy season, training and administering medicine. My goal is to keep your pet(s) in their routine with the same worry-free, stress-free care as you have set up for them for walking, pet/house sitting, pet care, vet visits, pet transportation or moving. I have my own reliable transportation to come to you. I offer pet transportation in my own vehicle as well, but I do not have boarding facilities available at this time.
About: I will start by saying I am truly passionate about what I do! I have a genuine love for all animals! Nothing beats the comfort of a home-setting for your pets! I've been fortunate to have met and worked with many different breeds. I understand that different breeds require different care. I am always willing to accommodate for any activities you require for your pets. Extra snuggles? You got it! Extra outside time? No sweat! If you have extra notes for me, having a list is the best way to make sure I cover everything you need! I have always been a huge animal lover! I have two dogs that are my entire world (Halo & Duke). They do very well with other animals! I look forward to meeting you & watching your fur baby! I work from home so I will have plenty of time to play with your pup! Plenty of time to take your dog on walks. I have two friendly dogs to keep your dog company. If there are any specific needs for your pup please let me know and I will accommodate.
About: I’ve raised all kinds of pets from newborns, adopted, and elderly. They deserve attention and care just like humans and I strive to do just that. I work Sat-Tues 7a-5p and off during the week. I’m able to swap days with 48 hour notice. I look forward to caring for your fur baby! 🐾 I am not currently a pet parent so your animal(s) will have my full and undivided attention. I’m empathetic and know when I need a break, so do they!
About: I’ve taken care of fur babies for the past 10 years now even have 2 of my own. Friends, family and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their precious babies, walk, feed, bathe, play, and even stay with them. I’m currently working part-time and in school Monday- Thursday for half the day so I have plenty of time to take care of your precious fur baby(babies). I am available anytime during the weekends, weekdays would have to be discussed in advance. I commute to my clients house to take care of their fur babies. Clients typically leave instructions if needed otherwise I feed the dog 1-2 times a day, potty breaks, walks, park play if that is something my client is up for and lot of snuggles, pets and love.

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Beyond Exceptional – Mychelle Is Truly One of a Kind I cannot even begin to express the level of gratitude, comfort, and peace of mind Michelle gave me while caring for my Labradoodle for six full days. And trust me when I say this review comes from someone who is an EXTREME dog mom. My girl is not “just a dog” to me — she is my baby, my shadow, my emotional support, my family, and honestly my whole heart. I am notoriously protective over her and almost never allow anyone to care for her, especially overnight and especially in someone else’s home. My Labradoodle also has separation anxiety, medical needs, and requires extremely important medications for her liver and bladder that absolutely cannot be missed. Leaving her with someone else was something that caused ME anxiety too. I worried constantly before the trip… until Mychelle completely changed that. From the moment I dropped my girl off, Mychelle treated her with genuine love, patience, kindness, and compassion. She did not make me feel like I was leaving my dog with a “pet sitter.” She made me feel like I was leaving her with family. Throughout my entire trip, Mychelle constantly kept me updated with pictures, videos, messages, and little check-ins that absolutely melted my heart and calmed my nerves. I probably drove her crazy how many texts I sent her-but she was always quick in response time and never made me feel uneasy. Ecko had so much fun with her 2 labs and 1 other pup that Mychelle was looking after in her home. I could SEE my baby was happy, relaxed, loved on, and truly comfortable in her care. That means everything to someone like me who notices every little detail about their dog’s behavior and emotions. VERY IMPORTANT—>Not only did Michelle flawlessly administer all of her medications and take her medical care seriously, but she also gave her affection, attention, comfort, and emotional care. That is something you simply cannot fake. Animals know when someone is truly kind-hearted, and my Labradoodle clearly adored her. When I picked my girl up, she was happy, healthy, calm, and obviously well cared for. Honestly, I do not think I could have asked for a better experience if I tried. Thank you, Mychelle, from the bottom of my heart, for loving and caring for my girl the way you did. You gave this psycho dog mom the greatest gift possible: the ability to finally relax knowing her baby was safe, loved, and in amazing hands. We absolutely adore you. 💕🐾”
