Our dog is a very picky eater and refused to eat his kibble, so Christy thoughtfully offered him eggs, cheese, chicken jerky, and even some of the homemade food they prepared for their own dogs to ensure he was eating well. Our dog also enjoyed plenty of playtime. Their large backyard gave him lots of room to run around and burn off energy, and Christy even gave him ice to help him stay cool in the hot Houston weather. One thing we especially appreciated was Christy's excellent communication. She kept us updated throughout the stay and shared plenty of photos and videos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind and allowed us to see how happy and comfortable our dog was. About: Since I was a little girl, pets and animals have been a massive part of my life. My parents also shared a love for animals, leading to a house full of pets. Some of my friends call me 'the animal whisperer' because I would always pet an animal everywhere I went. I have a part-time job scheduled only three days out of the week, leaving ample time to care for animals. During my free time, I usually practice my instrument and learned that dogs love live music. If a dog requires special attention, he/she is my first priority. I'll take my client's pet on a walk in the morning to enjoy fresh air and sunlight. After meals are distributed and digested, playtime for a few hours, then back outside for another walk. Depending on how many times my client's animal eats a day, I will follow such instructions and end the day with another walk.

I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week for dog walking and drop-in visits. I’m available during mornings, afternoons, and evenings and can often accommodate last minute requests I’ve always loved dogs and truly believe they’re a man’s best friend! I’ve volunteered with local animal shelters for about 6 years, so I’ve gotten experience being around dogs with all different personalities, sizes, and energy levels. I’m comfortable caring for them, walking them, playing with them, and most importantly making sure they feel safe and cared for. I’m currently an online college student working toward my bachelor’s degree in business, which I’m on track to finish in about a year. Since my classes and schoolwork only take up around an hour of my day, I have very open availability and plenty of time to give your pets my full attention. I’m available throughout the week and can be flexible with different schedules. When I’m walking a dog, their safety is my biggest priority. I keep dogs properly leashed and pay attention to our surroundings at all times. I also stay off my phone during walks because I want my attention to be on your dog, not a screen. I watch for other dogs, cars, people, or anything else around us that could become a safety concern. Whether I’m taking your dog on a walk, playing with them, feeding them, or just keeping them company, I want them to feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I know pets are family and I would treat someone else’s dog with the same patience, attention, and care that I would want for my own.
About: I have cared for animals my entire life, ranging from large breeds like Mastiffs and German Shepherds to small dogs and cats. Additionally, my background working at a pet store gave me hands-on experience caring for rodents, birds, fish, and reptiles. I am available weekdays from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM for drop-in visits (feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, and playtime) or walks. Weekend availability is also available upon request. About: I can't wait to meet your furry loved one! I absolutely love spending time with animals, especially dogs and cats. After losing our first born 'child,' a pit bull mix named Bella, I was finally able to adopt again in May 2019. Shelby is a blue heeler mix, and she loves playing with other dogs. My husband and three young kids also share my love of dogs. If you choose to allow your dog to stay at my house, it will be spoiled and snuggled and treated like a king or queen!
