About: I have the ability to treat your fur babies just as I treat my own- like family. I'm a mom with a son who can be your dog's best stand in pal while you're away. I have a dog friendly vehicle that can take your babies to the park for a nice change of scenery. I also have experience walking larger dogs and puppies that pull on the leash. If your dogs got it, I can handle it! I have deshedding brushes and nail clippers for larger and smaller sized dog if your pup needs a little extra TLC between groomer visits. I also have harnesses in small-large sizes and all kinds leashes adequate for your dog's learning level for on leash walks. I've been around dogs my whole life and know what it takes to become a great, and trustworthy friend for your pup. My schedule is open mainly on the weekends and weekday evenings. Really awful. But she (and her family) treated him with love and kindness, even as he made life incredibly difficult for them. I won’t ever board Ulysses and someone else’s home, but I am grateful that I not only learned about his separation anxiety problem, but that he was in a place where he was cared for, even when it was hard to do so. Shyla is a great communicator, sending updates and pics multiple times a day, and quick to answer any questions we had. I cannot recommend Shyla highly enough.”

When I was 12, I started taking care of pets on my own I have cared for many dogs of an array of breeds of all sizes; I have had puppers that had very specific needs (medications, ice water, cuddles 247). About: I go above and beyond to care about pets because they deserve unconditional love! I own two of the most amazing and beautiful boys and I could not imagine a life without them. I will always make sure that pets under my care are taken care of properly and trained as part of their stay with me. Pets are the worlds gift to us and as such they deserve to be treated with love and respect. Your pooch may not be able to speak out about their experience with sitters, but their actions can definitely show the difference. Leave your pet in good hands for a worry-free experience. I stay home which means your pets will not be unattended or kenneled throughout the day. I know it is important for pets to be comfortable, especially when staying with someone new to avoid anxious behaviors. Making sure that my boys get time to play and just relax around the house is very important to me and as such I will make sure that your pets get the same care. I have a fenced yard where your pet can play with my two boys if they so desire. They will be able to also play and relax in their own room while having the option to look out the window. Dogs can be kenneled if needed but won’t spend their day like that as I wouldn’t want my pets in a kennel for extended periods of time.

I have a designated air conditioned area in my home where your pup will be able to hang out while I am at work. My work schedule Is set for the most part so I will be able to keep your pup on a good schedule while you are away. I have a soft spot for Pitbulls and their pet owners because I know how hard it is to get good help with that specific breed. You Won’t Regret It ❤️❤️ boarding Monday-Friday after 4pm or anytime on the weekend. If you are needing overnight care throughout the week I do have a designated area where your pup will be safe while I am at work. I have a fenced yard with sections so your baby can get some good out door time even if I do have multiple dogs. I also have a designated indoor area with a/c accommodation for this Texas heat. I do have 2 dogs who are very friendly but to keep your baby safe I am able to crate them and put them in a different fenced section during outdoor time.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes ever since I was young, and as I got older, my love for them continued to grow. This passion was instrumental in deciding my future as I am currently studying at Texas A&M and finishing up my degree in Animal Science. I want to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and plan on applying to the Texas A&M Veterinary School in 2026. I have worked in two veterinary clinics, one of which was AHAA accredited and provided overnight boarding for both cats and dogs. About: I am currently a second year veterinary student here at A&M, so I am very knowledgable on animal health and behavior. I have been taking care of animals for my entire life, so I am open to any size, type, or any level of specialized care that they might need. I can also help with nail trims, anal glands and administering medications! This summer my schedule is very flexible, and only have a few weeks blocked off due to my externships that I need to attend. This allows me to work anytime that you might need! I currently live in an apartment, so that’s why I am currently not offering boarding. However, in a client’s home I will always make sure the pet is cared for while keeping you home clean and organized.

About: I have not been active on Rover for a couple years in order to dedicate all of my time to college and preparing for law school, but as that chapter is coming to a close, I am back! Ever since I was 10 years old, I’ve taken care of 2 dogs on my own, because both my parents had full-time jobs. When my senior dog was diagnosed with fatal cancer, I was her main caretaker up until her last minute. You can count on me to take special care of your senior pets just as well as I did my own. Furthermore, I recently got my first puppy independently and raised her completely on my own. That being said, raising a puppy (especially a GSD) is not for the faint of heart, therefore I feel very experienced with caretaking and dog ownership. I’m young, full of energy, and responsible so I would love to share this with your high-energy pets too! I can adhere to both sides of the spectrum, old and slow or young and spunky. Your pets are in good hands with me! I provide my GSD, Zoey, with daily exercise and stimulation. At the very least, Zoey gets 2 walks per day, each of which are 30 mins to 1 hour. I also take Zoey with me everywhere possible (picking up groceries, studying at a coffee shop, exploring nature trails, etc). Other than taking care of Zoey’s needs, if my profile is active, I am extremely flexible with scheduling! I will adhere to the owners instructions and preferences precisely. I know how hard it is to trust someone else to take care of your furry best friend as well as you would yourself, but I promise to do exactly as asked and more! I have a deep passion for animals and would want a sitter to treat my pets as well I would, or better. You’re pets are in great hands with me.

“Shyla is wonderful. I cannot stress how wonderful she (and her family) are. This was the first time we boarded our pups somewhere other than their vet’s office. After leaving our pups with her and heading to Mexico, we learned that my big black and tan coonhound has a real separation anxiety issue, which our vet never mentioned. He was awful for her. Really awful. But she (and her family) treated him with love and kindness, even as he made life incredibly difficult for them. I won’t ever board Ulysses and someone else’s home, but I am grateful that I not only learned about his separation anxiety problem, but that he was in a place where he was cared for, even when it was hard to do so. Shyla is a great communicator, sending updates and pics multiple times a day, and quick to answer any questions we had. I cannot recommend Shyla highly enough.”
